Meira's color - Purple 500
Meira's whole life has been lived in darkness. She's never seen the colors of the world. Never seen her mother's face, and sometimes it saddens her to no end. She wanted nothing more than to see her mother smiling at her, and telling her how much she adored her. The night that her mother passed away, it tore the woman's heart out of her chest. She didn't know what was going on, and she couldn't see a damn thing. One of her neighbor's at the time, had told her that it would be better that way. The sight before them, had been heartbreaking. Meira was the lucky one being born blind. She didn't care. She wanted to see her mother, but it wouldn't ever happen that way.
The funeral happened so quickly, and she was in a whirl wind of feelings. Her family tried to comfort her, but she wouldn't let anyone close enough to her. Tears filled her eyes, as the priest spoke about how good of a woman her mother had been. She was officially alone in the world, and she couldn't really do anything about it. When it was over and done with, she let her uncle take her home, and she locked herself inside the house for a couple of weeks. When she did leave the house finally, she had no choice. She had no food in the house, and she was starving herself pretty much, the one thing her mother wouldn't be happy about.
As she was in town, she heard a woman's soft voice, and she felt her heart skip a beat. At first it sounded like her mother, but she knew it wasn't her. Her mother had died a month ago, and she was alone. She shook her head as she turned towards the voice. "Can you repeat that please? I didn't hear you fully" she said softly. The woman reached out and looked into the woman's eyes. "I am so sorry about that. I honestly thought you saw me, but seeing as you can't see me at all, is understandable" she said lightly. Meira's heart slammed inside of her chest just then.
The touch from the woman was so soft and gentle, she didn't know what to really think about it. "Yes, I am blind, so I am sorry if I came off as rude.." she said lightly. "Don't worry about it my child. I was wondering if you'd like to come and work for me. My name is Athena by the way" she said. That name sounded familiar to the woman for some reason. Then it seemed to dawn on her. This was a Goddess, and she was asking Meira to come and work for her. This wasn't happening. Could this really be happening? She felt her cheeks turn a slight shade of pink.
"I mean.. I don't know.. I know this doesn't happen all of the time, but I'm more than happy to come and work for you. I would just need to gather up some belongings from my home, and then I'll be more than willing to come along with you" she breathed out. "That'll be perfectly fine my child. I'll even be the one to take you to your old home, and then to your new one" she said lightly. Meira's heart was about to burst out of her chest. This was really happening. She broke down into tears, and the Goddess wrapped her arms around the sobbing woman, and hugged her tightly. "Shh, it's alright child" she said softly.
Meira hadn't had another woman's arms around her in a month, and she seemed to break fully just then. Athena was gentle with the blind woman, and just held her. A few minutes later, the woman gathered up her feelings up, and took a breath and pulled away slowly. "I am so sorry.. It's just been so long since I've had someone be so kind to me.." she said reaching up and brushing the tears away. Athena gently moved her hands away, and wiped the woman's tears for her. "Nothing to be sorry for. Let's get you home though" she said lightly, and Meira let her lead her away.
She told the Goddess where she lived, and she let the Goddess into her home. She hoped it looked alright. It was her home after all. She gathered up some belongings, along with a couple of her mother's things, and then she was led out of her home for good. The silence washed over her just then, and she wondered if Athena was changing her mind. "Are you ready child?" she asked her. "As ready as I will ever be" she admitted. Athena wrapped her arm around the woman just then, and the air seemed to change around her.
She didn't fully understand what had happened, but she wasn't about to question it either. "We are here. One of my other servants is here, and I will have her show you around, and have her explain your duties to you. I'll take your things to your room for you child." she said. Meira nodded lightly just then. "Thank you" she breathed out. "No need to thank me child" she said. "Medusa darling? This is Meira, one of our newest staff members. The child is blind, so she will be in your care for awhile" she said.
Meira couldn't remember is she had given her name, but it didn't matter. She might have, and just couldn't remember. She let the other's talk before her, and she wrapped her arms around herself, as she waited to be addressed. This was all just so strange, but she felt welcome here. It was a strange feeling, but she wasn't about to say anything about that. She bit the inside of her cheek, letting the other's voices wash over her. Maybe this was a good thing, or it could all come crashing down around her. For now she was taking it one moment at a time.

Dalton's color - Red 900
Dalton's eyes went to the closed bedroom door of his younger sister Lavine, and his heart seemed to break inside of his chest. He hated the fact that he had made her pack up her life and move away with him. They weren't safe where they were living anymore. They wouldn't ever be safe again. At least not while they were still alive. He sighed lightly as he shook his head to clear it from the thoughts that were invading his mind. He had moved them out of England for a reason. It was to protect her.
Even though she didn't fully understand the reasons behind it. He had killed someone he loved. He had killed the woman he had planned on marrying in cold blood. All because she had been found cheating on him. That's the worst feeling in the world. At least to him it was. He bit the inside of her cheek lightly as he reached up and ran a hand over his face. He had promised himself he would start job hunting, and he knew he needed to get a move on and now. He walked away from the door and into his room.
The house they were living in now, was all they could afford. There was two bedrooms, and one bathroom. He had offered the master bedroom to his sister, but she had told him no. He knew the woman hated him, but he wasn't about to disappoint her anymore than he already has. He was glad he had showered the night before, because then he wouldn't have to worry about that. At least for now he wouldn't have too. He found some clean jeans and a black t-shirt and pulled them onto his body.
When he was dressed he sat on the edge of the bed and slipped his sneakers onto his feet. He then made sure his wallet, phone, house keys, and car keys were in his pockets. He would be out for most of the day. He then grabbed a piece of paper and wrote Lavine a quick note. He thought about what to say, but decided it would be best to make it simple, and not really think about it. At least that's what he told himself anyway. He sighed as he touched the pen to the page.
Good morning, I went into town for the day to do some job hunting. The spare house key is in the bowl by the front door. I'll have the car, so you won't be able to really go anywhere. I love you, and I'll see you this evening. He read the small note, and knew it would have to do. He then taped it onto her door on the way out. He made sure he had everything one last time before he headed out the door and to the Jeep Wrangler they shared.
He climbed inside and started it up. He pulled out of the drive way and headed into town. The whole way there he was thinking about what he had done to Lavine. She knew he was a killer, she had helped him bury the body in the first place, but what she didn't know would surely make her hate him even more, and want nothing to do with him ever again. The male shook his head as he pulled into the parking lot of his first stop. It was a small coffee shop, and it looked really run down.
The male shut the Jeep off and then climbed out. He could feel people's eyes on him, but he didn't care. He was getting what he needed done, and that's all that mattered. He walked inside and went up to the counter. He rang the bell and waited for someone to come out from the back. He was nervous, but at least he was getting a head start on what he had promised Lavine just the other day.
Darkest Summer Starters.
A small sigh passed through the woman's lips as she heard her grandparents speaking about her once more. She knew something was up, she just didn't quite understand what it was though. She bit her lip lightly as she tried to listen to the whispered words. She then pushed herself up and out of the chair she had been sitting in. She had been working on one of her many assignments for her classes, and decided she needed a small break. She made her way to the door and opened it slowly, and slipped into the hall.
She could hear her grandparents in their bedroom speaking. She made her way over to their door and leaned against the wall to listen. "Do you really think they will come after her? I don't know what I would do if we lost her Jamal.." came the sound of her grandmother's voice. She held her breath as she waited for her grandfather to speak. It didn't take long before she heard his voice as well. "I'm not sure Melinda, I think they will. She's been marked for years" he said in a low voice.
"She's been marked since she was a baby. You know how she was growing up, always asking about the mark on her wrist. Always playing with it when she was nervous. I hate lying to her Jamal.. I feel like she has a right to know what's bound to happen" her grandmother said. There was a couple seconds of silence before her grandfather spoke once more. "I know you do, but I think it's better if we don't say anything to her quite yet" he said softly. Juniper narrowed her eyes a bit at that last little bit.
What were they hiding from her? She took a breath and reached up to knock on the door. That's when she heard her father shush her grandmother before calling out. "Come on in Juniper" he said in his normal voice. She reached out and turned the knob and stepped into the room. "I got hungry, and wanted to know if you guys wanted something to eat?" she asked. Her grandparents shared a look and it sent a shiver down her spine just then. "No honey I'm okay, thank you" he said smiling at her.
"I would love to join you, but I have to meet the other's for our card game in the next little while" her grandmother said. She knew they were fighting everything in their power to hide whatever it was from her. She nodded lightly as she shoved her hands into her pockets. "Alright, if you change your mind let me know" she said with a small smile and backed out of the room, shutting the door behind her. She stood there waiting to see if they would say anything more. There was silence on the other side.
She sighed as she made her way back to her bedroom and kicked the door closed. What the hell were they talking about? What was this thing about her being marked? She bit the inside of her cheek lightly as she moved back over to her desk and sat down. She then heard her phone going off, and she reached for it. She spotted Atlas's name on the screen and opened up the text message he just sent her, scanning over the words before her. Juni! What are you doing right now?
A small smile passed over her lips as he used the nick name he had given her, before she started to type out a reply. I'm just finishing up some homework. I was about to message you and see if you wanted to go and grab a bite to eat. She read it over before sending it. That's one thing she adored about Atlas, he always reached out to her when she was about to do the same to him. She sighed as she moved over to the bed and plopped down onto it.
I'm about to head over to Mark's for that party tonight. Why don't you join me? We could grab a bite there, or leave a bit early and get something to eat. That and you need to get out a bit more as well. So what do you say? Should I come and pick you up?
I mean I wasn't really planning on going anywhere, but if you'd like you are more than welcome to meet me there. I'll have to shower and what not before I leave. I'll meet up with you in about an hour in a half. She then hit send and let out a small sigh. What the fuck was she doing? She didn't want to go anywhere, but she knew the male wouldn't stop bothering her until she came out with him. She might as well, since she didn't have anything else better to do anyway. She didn't even bother waiting for the other to reply. That's when the ding went off.
Alright, I'll see you there. Make sure you look amazing as well. I'm sure you'd get laid tonight. and she rolled her eyes. That's one thing she didn't like. He was always trying to hook her up with anyone, and she wasn't really in the mood to deal with that right now. She pushed herself up and went to grab a quick shower. When she was done she dressed in a pair of jeans, and an off the shoulder shirt. She then applied a little bit of makeup and was finally ready to go. She grabbed her phone, wallet, and car keys and slipped her feet into her shoes and walked out of her room.
"I'm going out with Atlas! I'll be back late, so don't bother staying up waiting for me" she called out. She then made her way down the stairs, and out the front door. She was then behind the wheel of her beat up car, started it up and pulled out of the driveway. She then headed into town. She knew where Mark's was, but she didn't know who would all be there. She bit her lip lightly when she pulled up to the curb outside of his home. Sure enough she could hear the loud music playing from inside.
She shut the car off, climbed out and made her way inside. When she did she didn't see Atlas right away, but knew that he would be around sooner or later. She then made her way to the kitchen and filled up a cup with liquid. She lifted the cup to her lips, and her eyes caught the eyes of a male not much older than she was. She had to admit he was nice to look at. Maybe she would get luck that night, but she wasn't going to hold her breath on that one. She took another sip of the liquid and let her eyes wander the crowd of people.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━▲▼▲━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
The morning wasn't really that eventful to say the least. Atlas had been up most of the morning getting his apartment cleaned, and somewhat messaging ----------- back and forth. A small smirk passed over his lips at the thought of the beautiful woman. He didn't know how it happened, but they ended up sleeping together one night, and since then they've been seeing each other in secret. It was like she didn't want someone knowing about him, but he didn't want Juniper to know about Lilly either quite yet. A small sigh passed through his lips just then.
Thinking about his best friend just then saddened him a little bit. He hadn't seen her for a while, and he was wondering how she was holding up with everything. He knew her grandparents had been talking in secret about her, she's told him about it. He drummed his fingers on the desk before him as he thought about messaging the woman to see what she was up too. He reached for his phone just then and sent her a quick message after all. It was small, simple, and pretty much straight to the point.
Juni! What are you doing right now? The two had always known when something was wrong, and he had a nagging feeling right then. That's when his phone went off and he read the message from the woman. I'm just finishing up some homework. I was about to message you and see if you wanted to go and grab a bite to eat. of course she had been doing homework. She was always the good student, even when he had told her over and over not to really worry about it, but she still did.
Alright, I'll see you there. Make sure you look amazing as well. I'm sure you'd get laid tonight. was all he had said after that. He knew the woman would think he was insane, but at the moment he wanted to get her out of the house. He had an hour in a half before he would have to meet up with the woman, so he thought about messaging ---------- and seeing if she wanted to head over to Mark's place later that night.
He couldn't help but wonder how ---------- and Juniper would react to one another. He wanted to make things official with ----------, and show her off to the world, but something in his gut was telling him not to quite yet. He didn't know what it was, but he couldn't help but wonder if it had to do with Juniper and how she would react. He let out another sigh as he messaged ----------. Hey beautiful, how would you feel about going to a party later tonight? A friend from class is throwing it.
If you don't want too we can meet up somewhere and I can take you to dinner or something instead. Lemme know, and I'll be at the park waiting for your beautiful face to arrive. He read the lame message over and over before finally sending it. He then took a quick shower, dressed in a pair of clean jeans, and a black t-shirt. He then made his way to his truck and headed to the park. The sun was slowly starting to set, and he wondered if Juniper would start blowing up his phone if he was late.
At the moment he didn't care. He was more interested in seeing ---------- right then. He pulled into one of the parking stalls, rolled the windows down, and shut the truck off. He might as well let fresh air sweep through the cab while he waited. He drummed his fingers against the wheel watching as the sun fully set. It was such a beautiful sight before him as well. He sighed as he leaned his head back, closed his eyes and waited to hear from the beautiful woman who had captured his attention months ago.
Stay With Me Starter
"Carlos where the fuck are you? I haven't heard from you in over a week. I have someone interested in that good meth you have." came the sound of a really annoyed tattooed male. The other man on the end blew out a breath he had been holding. "I'm on my way to the old warehouse as we speak. You should learn to keep your temper in check" the other said in a clipped tone. Bromley let out a slow sigh as he narrowed his eyes at the phone in his hand. He was supposed to keep his temper in check?
Why the fuck should he? He had a business to run, and Carlos was slowly making him look like the bad guy. He licked his lips as he put his phone back to his ear. "I'll be there in a couple of hours. I have some things to do, and when I get there, you better be there as well for the hand off. I'm not going to have one of your fucking goons there" he snapped and hung up. He wasn't going to be playing this game anymore. He shouldn't have too.
The male ran his hands over his face slowly, trying to calm down. He had a beautiful blonde in his bed right then, and he wanted her gone. He turned and looked down at her sleeping face. He then reached out, and ripped the blankets off of her naked body. "Get the fuck up. I have shit to do, and I need you gone" he snapped. The blonde sat straight up when the cool air hit her skin. She reached up and rubbed her eyes lightly looking towards him slowly. She as slightly confused.
"Is everything okay? You seem a lot more tense than last night. Do I need to do what I did last night?" she asked lightly as she reached out and touched his back. The male stood and shook his head, as he headed to the bathroom. "No. I need you to leave" was all he said, as he shut the door behind him. He then locked it to keep her at bay. He wanted to be left alone, and he sure as hell didn't need her there to distract him either. Which he knew she would have done.
He didn't even know her name, and he didn't care to know her name either. He stripped out of his boxers and stepped into the shower. He heard the front door slam closed, and knew the blonde had finally left. He was finally alone, and that's all he really cared about. He turned on the water and let the cold water hit his back. He then tilted his head back, and washed the smell of the woman off of his skin. Normally he wouldn't tell the women he slept with to leave right away.
This was slightly different though. He took his time in the shower, and when he was done he shut the water off and climbed out. He wrapped himself in a towel and made his way back into the bedroom. He could still smell the woman in the room. He wanted that smell gone, and opened up the bedroom window. He heard his phone buzz, and he walked over and picked it up. You are a fucking bastard. Kicking someone out like you did. Don't ever call me again. Was what the text message said.
He deleted it right away, not even caring. She didn't want him contacting her, so he wouldn't. He had other things to worry about. That's when another text came through, this time from Carlos. I'll be at the warehouse like you said. I'll be there when you are arriving as well. I promise you I have the good shit, and you won't be disappointed at all with it. Bromley was happy about that one. He had a couple of hours before he had to meet Carlos, so he took his time getting ready.
He didn't live too far from the warehouse they were talking about, so he figured he would walk there. Plus it would kill more time as well. When he was done drying off, he slipped into a pair of clean boxer shorts, and black jeans. He then found a white t-shirt and slid that on over his head. He made sure his wallet was in his pocket, along with his keys, and phone. He then slipped his socks and shoes on, and was finally ready to go. He had about an hour and a half to get there.
He locked up the house when he left, and shoved his hands into his pockets as he walked down the front steps. He was slightly hungry, and wanted to grab a bite to eat, so he made his way into town slowly. As he was walking he got wrapped up in his thoughts about the night before. Something about the blonde was rubbing him the wrong way. She had been amazing in bed, but that was about it. He shook his head lightly as he rounded the corner out of his neighborhood and nearly knocked a smaller woman over in the process.
He let out a small string of cuss words under his breath as he reached out and caught her by the arms. "I'm so sorry about that, I wasn't paying attention to where I was going" he breathed out. He then took a better look at the woman he was holding onto, and his breath caught in his throat. She was beautiful, and not much younger than he was. It took him a moment to realize he was still holding onto her, and he quickly let her go, shoving his hands into his pockets, keeping silent.
Ellie's color - Purple 900 || Isabella's color - Orange 900 || Giselle's color - Red 300
Shadows of my mind Starter.
One Year Ago.
"Ellie baby, are you awake?" came the sound of her mother's soft voice. The woman rolled onto her side and pulled the pillow over her head. She didn't want to deal with this right now. She didn't want her mother's staring eyes, asking if she was okay. Asking if she needed anything, and worst of all she didn't want her asking if she was herself. She knew that things were slowly starting to get out of control. Giselle was coming out more and more most days, and Ellie sure as hell didn't know how to explain it.
That's when her mother knocked on her door once more before speaking again. "I'm coming in. I'm tired of waiting for you to answer me" she said as she turned the knob and opened the door. Ellie sat bolt up right in her bad and glared at her mother. "What if I was changing? Or what if I was sitting here fully naked?" she snapped at the woman. Her mother shook her head and waved her hand a bit, moving to the edge of her daughter's bed and sat upon it.
"I knew you wouldn't be, because you would have screamed at me when I started turning the knob to come inside. Are you doing okay baby?" she asked her looking slightly worried. She could feel Giselle stirring inside of her mind all of a sudden, and her heart skipped a beat. She was doing everything she could to keep the other at bay. "I'm doing alright for the most part. Just kind of tired, and getting annoyed with you for hovering over me. I'm not a child anymore momma" she said softly her eyes locking on her mother.
The older woman reached out and brushed her daughter's hair out of her eye. "I know you aren't. But since we found out about your disorder, things have been harder on both your father and I. Him and I have been talking a lot and we have finally come to a decision on some things" she said softly. Ellie's heart skipped a beat slightly, and Giselle perked up a bit. She could also feel Isabella's curious mind as well. It was strange with the two of them hanging around, but she kept her mouth shut for now.
She wanted her mother to keep talking but knew she wouldn't until she made some sort of reply. "What have you and daddy been talking about?" she asked as she pulled the blanket to her chin. Her mother's eyes filled with tears and she wanted nothing more than to bring Ellie towards her, but knew she couldn't. "We are taking you to a place called Amherst. It's a safe place, and we are doing it because we love you. We don't want you to be mad or angry with us. We just.." her mother paused just then.
"We just don't know how to help take care of you. We don't know when it's going to be you, or the other's" she said lightly. Ellie's whole world seemed to shatter just then. She wanted to yell, scream, and tell her mother that she was a horrible person. She knew better than that though. She just sat there not looking towards her mother. Everything was changing, and it sounded like she didn't have much of a choice in the matter. She felt Isabella slowly start to slip out, because her fingers itched for a blade.
"When are you taking me?" she muttered. "Today, in the next couple of hours.. It's time to get ready" she said. Ellie's heart shattered just then and she did yell and scream at her mother. The older woman slipped out of her room as Ellie sat there in stunned silence. She then packed her things, and pretty much said goodbye to her home. She didn't know when she would see it again, or if she would see it again. She didn't bother talking to her parents again either. They were locking her up, and she couldn't do a damn thing about it.
Present Day.
It's been a year since Ellie had been locked away from the world. Today she wasn't herself though. She was in the corner of her room with a small blade in her hand. Isabella was her name. She was cutting small lines into Ellie's arm, and a small sigh passed through her lips at the feeling of the pain slowly ebbing away. The memories was too much for Ellie to handle, and Isabella took over right away. It wasn't the ideal time either, because Ellie was supposed to be meeting a new nurse, or doctor today too.
As she was about to start on another small line, her door opened and in walked one of the other nurses that's been there with Ellie the whole time. "Ellie darling it's time to eat" she said as she placed a tray down onto the table. Isabella turned around and narrowed her eyes lightly. "You know I hate it when you call me Ellie. My name is Isabella" she snapped. That's when the nurse saw the blade and she sighed lightly. She pulled the gauze out of her pocket and walked over to the blue haired female.
"I'm sorry Isabella. I'm just so used to having Ellie around, that when you arrive it's a whole new ball game for me" she said lightly as she wrapped Ellie's wrist with a bandage, keeping the gauze in place. "I wish you wouldn't harm yourself either. You are too pretty for that" she said lightly, locking her eyes with the other's. Isabella rolled her eyes and looked at the tray and groaned lightly. "When am I going to get the food I want?" she nearly whined. The woman smiled and shook her head lightly.
"You know we can't make everyone what they want. It's the same thing all along the board" she said. Isabella let out a huff and was gone. Ellie blinked a couple of times and shook her head. She then looked down at her wrist and let out a small, sad sigh. "I wish she wouldn't do that.. I'm getting tired of all of the scars" she admitted. "Welcome back Ellie. Your new nurse, or doctor will be coming around today. Do you think you'll be able to keep the two at bay?" she asked her.
"I can try, but I'm not going to make any promises" she said as she walked over and picked up the bread on the tray. It wasn't the best, but it was better than nothing that's for sure. She sat on the chair and took a bit. As she chewed Danielle watched her. "You are more than welcome to go into the main hall today if you'd like. I saw a couple of your favorite books out on the tables" she said hoping that would help a little bit. Ellie did seem to perk up a bit.
"I think I will. Thank you Danielle" she said softly. She finished her breakfast and then got dressed for the day. She then made her way into the main hall, her arms wrapped around herself the whole time. She could feel Giselle stirring and knew she wanted out. She stopped where she was, closed her eyes, counted to ten and let the feeling pass. When she opened her eyes again, she was still herself. She walked over to one of the tables and sat down. Sure enough there were a couple books there.
Some were Stephen King, and the other's were romance novels. She wasn't interested in those at all. She reached for Thinner and opened to the first page. She could hear the other's whispering around her, but she tried to tune them out the best she could. She wanted to be back in her room, and she hoped this meeting went by quickly.
The Nightschool Starter Posts
Skye's mind was everywhere. She was busy packing up her things, to head to England. She had been accepted into The Night School. She didn't even know there was such a place, and she was surprised when her and her sister, Lyla had gotten their letters. Was it a sign? Or was it just someone pulling their legs? She sighed a little, as she knew, that this whole thing could turn out wrong. She knew that things would be bad, if they went to England, and found out that it wasn't what either one had thought, it sounded like.
She sighed a little, as she looked out the window, she spotted her cat Brownie, sitting on the window seal, and she smiled a little. “Silly kitty, what are you doing there?” she cooed as she pushed herself up off the floor and walked over to the window. The cat looked up at her, with bright green eyes and mewed softly. She smiled as she scratched behind the cat's ears and looked down into the dark back yard. Her breath caught in her throat, as she saw a shadow moving between the trees, as if it was walking away.
She pressed her nose up against the chilly glass, and when she blinked the shadow thing was gone. She shook her head lightly, as she looked down at Brownie, who was curled up on the window and napping. She shook her head, as she looked over her shoulder, at the clock on the night table. The plane was leaving in and hour, and she still hadn't heard anything from ----------. She bit her lip lightly, as she walked out of the room, and went straight to her sisters, and tapped on the door, before opening it.
She poked her head into the dark room, and she sighed lightly, as she pushed the door open, letting the hall light spill into the bedroom. She walked silently into the room, crouched down and jumped onto the bed, nearly crushing her sister, and licked her cheek, “rise and shine sleeping beauty! The plane leave's in an hour!” she said, with a giggle. She jumped off the bed and ran back into her room shutting the door. She knew the woman hated it when she did that kind of stuff to her, but she couldn't help it.
She could hear ---------- in the other room grumbling, and she laughed lightly as she finished up with her packing. She shoved the rest of her clothes into the suit case, and then zipped it shut. Everything was going to change, she could feel it. Her parents were out of town, so they wouldn't be able to take the girls to the airport, but they had said their good byes, before they had left. Skye scooped up the cat, and she slid her into the carrying case, and then took her down to the door, and went back to get her bags.
As she was lugging her things down, she spotted ---------- and she grinned, “better hurry, I'm leaving without you” she said, as she made her way down the stairs. She got the death glare from her sister, and she shrugged and carried her things down the stairs, bumping the walls slightly. As she dropped her bags by the front door, she heard a small hiss from the cat, and she shook her head, and patted the top of the carrying case. She went into the kitchen, grabbed some bread and made toast for the two girls.
When it was done, and ---------- was downstairs grumbling, about the time, they were finally ready. She picked up her bags, along with the carrying case, and went out to her small bug, and packed everything inside. She shoved Lyla's things in with hers, and shut the trunk, putting Brownie onto the back seat. She slid into the drivers seat, started the car, and backed out when ---------- was in the car. She was excited, and couldn't wait to get to England. She had been up late the night before, trying to find pictures of The Night School, but came up empty handed.
Now that she was thinking about it, it hadn't been wise to stay up late the night before. She yawned and shook her head. She would sleep on the plane. She looked over at her sister, and she took the woman's hand in her own, “I'm excited, hopefully we get to room together” she said. She knew it was either bound to happen, or it wouldn't. Only time would tell. She squeezed her sister's hand, and she looked back at the road, watching as the trees and houses passed by them. It was so peaceful, at the time of hour.
A little while later, she had parked in the airport's parking garage, and she shut off the car, climbed out and popped the trunk. She grabbed their bags out of the back, grabbed her kitten, and headed on before Lyla. She was way too excited, she didn't even want to wait. When she got to the right gate, she checked them in, and the woman told them they had made it in time. They boarded the plane, and had to wait for take off. Skye sat in her seat, nearly bouncing with excitement.
The moment that the plane finally took off, she leaned her head back, and closed her eyes. She needed some sleep, before they got there, because if she didn't, she would be a downright bitch, and she wanted to make a good first impression, because she didn't know who she was bound to meet, at this new school.
Hours Later/Heading to the Night School.
The plane had landed and now they were here. They were heading to the castle in a car. One of the teachers had been sent to pick them up. Other teachers would pick up the rest of the students. Skye's nose was pressed against the window, watching the way to the school. She really didn't know what to say, so she deiced it would be best, if she stayed quiet the whole ride there. She looked over at ----------, and she smiled a little, before the Castle came into view and she let out a small gasp, “it's beautiful” she breathed.
The car came to a stop, and the male turned around, “go on in girls, the main meeting hall is where everyone is going, you will see the room's and the roommates. Have a nice stay here” he said. Skye nodded lightly, “Thank you sir” she said as she slid out of the car. The man had told them to leave their things, and the would be in their rooms when they finally got there. Skye took ----------'s hand, and tugged her up the steps, and right into the castle.
She stopped to take a look around, and she chewed on her lip lightly, as she found the main room. It was huge, and portraits were hanging around the room. There was a table in the middle of the room, with eight keys, and a list of who was staying in what room. Skye walked over, and ran her finger down the list. Her heart sank, “We aren't rooming together” she said as she sighed, and picked up her room key. She had been looking forward to it. Now she didn't know what to think. She all of a sudden felt like she was alone.
As Skye was looking around, she saw a note and she moved towards it slowly, and she read it aloud.
“Welcome To the Night School. This is going to be your home for as long as it takes, for you to get your powers, under control. The rooms are as is, I have chosen who would be staying where, because I don't want people who know each other in the same room.”
“The Girl's Dorms; Room One; Skye and ----------, Room Two; ---------- and ----------”
“The Boys Dorms; Room One; Kolby and ----------, Room Two; ---------- and ----------”
“If you have any question's ask one of the teachers, and they will help you. Welcome home my children, I hope you enjoy your stay. Remember classes start on Halloween, you have a week so get to know everybody.”
“Head Master James Stone.”
“I guess now we wait for everyone else” she said, as she moved over to a chair, and sat down. She pulled her legs up under her and let out a small sigh. She was rooming with someone named ----------. She didn't know anything about this woman, and she hoped that she would like the woman, and the woman would like her. She lowered her eyes, when she heard voices coming towards the room, now it was time to put on her game face, and pretend she wasn't scared.
She stood and plastered on a smile, and nodded her head slightly, towards those who entered. She really didn't want to say anything, because if she did, she knew she would end up making a fool of herself, and she didn't want that happening. So she just stood off to the side, and waited for someone other than her sister, to come towards her, and engage her in something interesting.
Six Years Ago.
“Are you ready to do some hunting Kolby?” the sound of his father's voice broke into his thoughts. Kolby had just barely turned eighteen years old, and his father was taking him out for his first hunt. The male sighed and shrugged his shoulders lightly. “I guess you can that. I'm a little bit nervous though, since you won't tell me what's really going to be happening” he admitted. His father looked towards his son, and reached up rubbing his temples lightly. “You know damn well I can't really tell you until we get there” he said. That really annoyed Kolby to no end. He didn't have much of a choice in the matter right now.
The two men went into the kitchen a moment later and grabbed something to eat. Then they were on their way. Kolby looked out the window as his father drove, trying to wrap his head around what was about to happen. A couple of hours later the truck came to a stop, and his father was shaking him awake. “It's time to wake up, and time to get a move on” he said lightly. It was a little past noon and the two still had a long hike ahead of them. They stopped long enough to eat something, and then started hiking up the mountain side. As the two hiked Kolby wanted nothing more than to ask where they were hunting but knew better than to ask.
After a couple hours of hiking, they finally stopped for the afternoon. “Alright, so I've been told this area has some vampires and other creatures here. We are here to hunt them, and I want you to take home your first vampire head” he said. Kolby's heart nearly dropped to his stomach. “What? Are you serious? I can't do this” he said. His father shook his head lightly and put his hand onto his son's shoulder. “I know for sure you'll be able to do it. You need to do it, because if you don't, I will end up disowning you” he said. The truth rung in his words, and Kolby's heart fluttered in his chest. This wasn't what he had planned on.
The two set up camp and as soon as the sun had set, was when they heard voices. The older male looked towards his son and walked over towards him. “Now's your chance. Take the cross bow, and let's go” he hissed. Kolby did as he was told, and picked up the weapon. He then followed behind his father into the heart of the woods. As they got closer, he could hear the voices more clearly. A couple of them were talking about their so called hunt tonight, and how they were going to be going to the bars and trying to get a woman or man into bed. Kolby's heart was hammering inside of his chest, and he hoped his father wouldn't make him do this.
The two came out of the clearing, and the voices stopped as all eyes went to them. “Do it now Kolby” his father snapped. Kolby froze. He couldn't do it. His hands were shaking, and he didn't want to kill anything. Even though they were already dead, he couldn't bring himself to do it. “I can't.. I'm so sorry dad..” he said. That's when his father grabbed the crossbow and killed every last vampire before they could attack. That's when his father spun around on him, eyes blazing. “Are you fucking kidding me?! You couldn't do something so simple as that?” he snapped. Kolby shook his head lightly, and his eyes snapped to the creature behind his father. “You are no longer a son of mine” his father hissed.
That was the last words he heard his father speak. The vampire attacked, and then Kolby was running. He had to get back to the truck. He didn't care about their gear. He had to survive this. He ran through the woods, his father's words running around his head the whole time. His heart racing, wishing he had done the simple task, and now his father was dead because of him…
Present Day.
The male let out a small sigh as the memory passed through his mind. That had been the worst day of his life. He had barely escaped with his life, and his mother was so torn apart that she kicked her only child out. She didn't want anything to do with him and would barely look at him when he did arrive home and told her what had happened. He looked towards the window and sighed a bit. “I'm so sorry I let you down dad.. I know you I should have helped you kill them, but I couldn't.. I've gotten better now. I'll make sure you are damn proud of your son” he breathed out. He meant it too. He wanted nothing more than to please his father, even if it meant he would have to do it all over again.
Over the last six years he's couch hopped and taught himself to be the hunter he was. He wanted to please his family, and knew they wouldn't ever see him because of it. He didn't mind though. While he had been at work one night, he got a text message from his friend saying he had a letter waiting at home. He was kind of curious as to who had his address. At first he couldn't think of who would have been watching him, and it kind of creeped him out. No one knew where he was, and he made sure of that. So the night had had gotten home, he came across the letter from this place he was now at. Maybe he would be able to find out his real meaning in life.
He sighed lightly when a knock came at his door. “Sorry to bother you, but the other students are going to be arriving soon, and you should be down there to find out who your roommate is” said one of the many creatures living within the walls of the Night School. “Thank you, I'll be down in a little bit” he said. He would be too. Then he was left alone. A small sigh passed through his lips as he stood and slipped his shoes on. He then made his way to the main hall, and he spotted a pair of female's walking in. His eyes moved to the younger of the two, and he smirked a bit. Maybe he could have some fun with this.
He slipped into the main hall, and he listened as the older female spoke. He sighed lightly, wishing all of a sudden he wasn't here. He did move closer to her a bit and read over her shoulder. There was a note on the door and he read it out loud, at least loud enough for him to hear only.
“Welcome To The Night School. This is going to be your home for as long as it takes, for you to get your powers, under control. The room's are as is, I have chosen who would be staying where, because I don't want people who know each other in the same room.”
“The Girl's Dorms; Room One; Skye and ----------, Room Two; ---------- and ----------”
“The Boys Dorms; Room One; Kolby and ----------, Room Two; ---------- and ----------”
“If you have any question's, ask one of the teachers, and they will help you. Welcome home my children, I hope you enjoy your stay. Remember classes start on Halloween, you have a week so get to know everybody.”
“Head Master James Stone.”
When he was done reading it, he found out his roommate was named ----------. He sighed lightly wondering how well the two would hit it off. He didn't really care though. He moved away and towards one of the chairs in the room. He sat down and watched as the other's started to come in. There was an even amount of men and women, and a couple of them he already pretty much marked as his. He wouldn't really do anything about it, but it would be fun to get to know them, and maybe do a little bit of flirting. He made himself comfortable, as he waited for the other's to arrive. He had a strange feeling that something more was going to happen.
He didn't know what it was, but he could feel it. This place had so many hidden secrets, and he couldn't wait to start exploring them. He leaned his elbows across his thighs, and put his chin in his hands, watching everyone as they arrived one by one. This was going to be an interesting place when the ball got rolling. Something he was looking forward too. That was kind of odd even for him. He kept his mouth shut as he waited silently.
OOC; Thank you to everyone that applied. I hope this time it'll move smoothly unlike every other time I've tried this thread. Please make sure to post as both of your characters in one post, to make it easier on everyone else and less to read. I'm a lazy bitch when it comes to that lol. But again thank you, and here's to making the best of The Night School.

Ten years ago...
"Nova you have no choice. You need to be the one to finish the ritual" came the sound of her so-called father's voice. The woman looked up at the man she adored her whole life and shook her head. "Daddy please. I can't do that to him.." she begged. Her father shook his head reaching out and touching his daughter's cheek lightly. "I wish it was that easy princess but it's not" he said. Nova knew her father was right. Her eyes filled with tears then.
"Honestly I would be the one to do it if I were you. The others are on his tail, and they will tear him limb from limb. Do you really want that to happen?" he asked her. Her father spoke about that, her head snapped up. He was right. The others in her pack were closing in on him. She could feel the change starting to happen, as the anger started to take over. The feeling of the change made her scream out in pain. She shifted into her black and white wolf form, and then she was running out the door and into the woods.
She had to hurry and get to the male before the others did. As she was running, she caught the man's scent and her heart hammered inside of her chest. She broke out into a run and in mid run she shifted back. Her breathing heavy from the run, and then change. Elijah looked shocked at seeing the woman. "Casanova? What's going on?" he asked her. She threw herself into his arms burying her face into his neck. She didn't know what to say at first. What was she supposed to say? This was her best friend after all.
"I am so sorry... Please forgive me..." Her voice was a trembling whisper in his ear. Before he could answer her, the female wrapped her arms around his head and snapped his neck. The male went limp. The sounds of howling echoed through the air. The ritual was done. Her body felt like a train had hit her. Her heart was broken. Her eyes looked up through tears at the blood moon. "You are with mother now. May she embrace you with her love." Her little prayer made her feel slightly better but only barely.
She could hear and smell the others closing in on her. She refused to stay for the feast. She had to run. Run hard and fast. Otherwise, her father would also force her to participate in that. A flash of lightning lit up the sky and when the boom of thunder followed, she was off. Running as fast and as long as her legs would take her...
Ten years later...
Ten years had gone by, and she could still see his face as clear as day. Nova refused to forget. She ran away from everything she had known and had started fresh. She had been lucky enough to find Dante's Inferno. A bar in Sleepy Hallow, New York. She had been seventeen at the time. They hired her on as a waitress and as time went on, she went up the ranks until the owner made her bar manager. She was twenty-seven now and kept to herself for the most part. She hadn’t let anyone get close to her like Elijah had. She refused to cry over another person.
She made her way to the bathroom, and she shut the door behind her. She started the shower and let the water heat up. Pretty soon the bathroom was filled with steam, and she stepped into the shower. She was pulling a double shift tonight. She needed the money, and she needed the distraction anyway. It's the day she had killed her best friend in the whole world, and she wanted to tear herself up over it, but knew she couldn't do that. Not now anyway. When she was alone for good, she would.
She hurried in the shower and when she was done, she shut the water off and grabbed the light pink towel and wrapped it around her body. She stepped out of the shower and walked over to the sink. She grabbed her toothbrush and got it wet. She put some toothpaste onto the bristles and started brushing her teeth. Her eyes moved to the door when she heard a scratch and whine from the other side. Kira was finally awake. She walked over to the door and opened it. She looked down at the black and white husky and smiled a bit.
She reached down and rubbed the dog's ears. She went and finished brushing her teeth, before looking back at the dog. "I know, I'm coming. Give me a moment" she cooed. The dog wagged her tail and trotted off, and out of the bedroom. She shook her head lightly as she made her way into the bedroom. She found her uniform and placed it on the bed. She dried herself off and then got dressed. The black skinny jeans hugging her in all the right places. She then pulled on her white button-down shirt.
She finished getting ready for work, and then went to feed the dog. She made sure the doggy door was open so Kira could go in and out as she pleased. "I'll be home late tonight baby. I love you" she told the dog. Kira looked up at her and wagged her tail. She smiled a bit as she gathered up her things and made her way out the door. She unlocked the Mercedes Benz and slid in behind the wheel. Her mind was still on Elijah the whole time. She felt tears sting her eyes, and she shook her head.
She started the car, pulled out of the driveway and headed into town. She lived in the richest part of New York, and she didn't mind it. It kept her mind busy, and the people were amazing after all. When Dante's was in view she pulled into the back and parked the car. She sat there a moment longer before shutting the car off, grabbed her apron and phone and climbed out. She locked the doors behind her and headed into the building. "Casanova! What are you doing here? You aren't supposed to be here till tonight."
"Oh I know. I'm pulling a double. I need the distraction" she admitted. Rose didn't bother saying more. She clocked in, and went straight to work. She had a feeling it was going to be a really long day. She sighed lightly as she placed herself behind the counter, tied the apron around her waist and lost herself in her work for the time being.
Beauty in Blood Starter.
Trixie's color - Red 300
Screams of terror. That's all she dreamed about. That is when she did sleep. The black-haired female opened her black eyes to the first light of dawn. Her stomach growled as she sat up in her bed. Her black sheets falling off her naked body as she stood up and made her way to the kitchen. Trixie let out a long yawn as she opened up the fridge in her kitchen. The whole thing was stocked with bags of blood from the the local blood bank. After being like this for so long, she had to make friends with the right people. She made a vow to never kill again.
Trixie made her way around the kitchen. Grabbing a coffee mug and filling it up with a bag of blood. As she waited for it to warm up in the microwave, she stretched her long slender body. Feeling every muscle move and her shoulders pop. As soon as she heard the ding of the microwave, she grabbed her cup and made her way back to her room to get dressed. The blood smelt divine to her as she took long slow sips. Her eyes slowly shifting from black to a bright blue. Her skin turned from pale to a soft tan. Her hair turned from dull to shiny and as she finished the last drop, her strength came back, and she was ready to face the day.
With a yawn she walked into her huge closet and grabbed an outfit for the day. Just an old pair of ripped up jeans and a red plaid shirt. Once dressed, Trixie made her way to the window in her room and opened it. Stepping outside to stand on the fire escape. Her eyes scanned the area. She watched as the coffee shop across the road opened up. Her eyes followed the paper boy as he picks a flower from in front of the flower shop, always one flower for his secret crush. She smiled and took in a long deep breath as she felt the wind blow through her long thick hair.
"Well what to do today..." Her voice was a bit more seductive for a woman. It always seems to suck people in. A curse in a way. Oh how she wished she was normal. She just wanted to be normal female with acne, frizzy hair, and stretch marks. Something she would never get. She wanted to fall in love. Something that was too dangerous. Who would ever love a monster like her? Trixie shook those dark thoughts away and climbed back into her apartment. She grabbed her black combat boots and slipped them onto her feet and made her way out the door. With her backpack purse on her back, she locked up her apartment and made her way to the stairs. Passing what used to be a vacant sign on the only empty apartment that was left in her unit.
"Huh, I guess I have a new neighbor" She kept walking, making her way down the six flights of stairs. Once on the first floor she knocked on the leasing office door. After a moment this little Chinese lady opened the door. "Good morning Mrs. Chang. Here is my rent money for next month." The old lady smiled sweetly at her as she took the money. "Thank you child. Always on time you are" Trixie's eyes sparkled as she smiled at the elderly lady. "So I see you finally rented out that apartment on the sixth floor" Mrs. Chang nodded as she scurried into her apartment for a second and came back out with a bag of trash. “Can you do me a favor dear and take this to the dumpster for me. I'm afraid those group of boys are hanging around the area again and I can't afford to keep paying them just to throw my trash away.”
Trixie nodded to the sweet old lady and grabbed her bag of trash. "Don't worry, I'll get rid of them" With that said she made her way out the back door of the building and walked down the long alley towards the apartment dumpster. As she got closer, she heard the sound of teenage boys talking smack back and forth. The air smelled strongly of marijuana and rap music could be heard. As soon as they saw her, their voices got louder as if trying to scare her off. It was cute. As she approached the dumpster one of the kids got in front of her. "It's twenty bucks to use our dumpster. Pay up or move along skank" She looked up at the kid from her five-foot, six inches height. Her eyes shifted to black, and her canines grew just slightly so when she spoke, they could be seen. “How about you guys run along and go be scum elsewhere and I won't have to smash your skull into the pavement.”
A low growl rumbled from her chest and for a second a deep hunger filled her. She could smell the blood in his veins, hear his heartbeat pick up pace. She watched as fear filled him and within minutes he was backing off and his little gang walked off. Still talking trash. She tossed the bag into the dumpster and started walking to the front of the building. Her features went back to human as she crossed the street to the coffee shop. Walking inside to order her normal cup of black coffee. She breathed in the bitter smell and took a seat at one of the tables that was outside. The morning air soothing in a way as she took a long sip of her drink. Watching the world around her come to life.

Jagger's mind was spinning as Oaklee stood in the doorway of her brother's room. “Are you really going to go over there right now?” she asked. Jagger looked up at the woman and nodded lightly. “I did tell her I would go over there. Plus I have an important question to ask her as well” he said with a small smile. Oaklee shook her head lightly as she watched her brother. “You seriously need to clean up your act though as well. You and your recklessness is going to get you killed one of these days”
“Oak, you worry too much. I really don't mind going to see ----------. Plus I need to see her. You'd be the same way if you had a boyfriend” he said lightly. Those words seemed to sting Oaklee as she stood there glaring at her brother. “Sometimes you can be a real piece of work” she muttered lightly. Jagger was slightly taken back, he didn't know what he had said wrong. He shrugged lightly as Oaklee stormed out of his room. He sighed lightly as he gathered up his things and grabbed his phone.
He scrolled to ----------'s name, and he sent her a quick message. I'll be there soon. I have to pick up a couple things, and I'll be there. See you soon beautiful. Xoxo. He then hit send, and grabbed his wallet and keys. He slipped his phone and wallet into the same pocket, as he walked out of the room. He stopped long enough in the hallway to grab the small ring box he had hidden in the hall closet. Oaklee stood there watching him. “Please be careful. There's a storm coming” she said.
“You worry too much. I'll be safe” he said as he kissed his sister's forehead, and he left. He went straight to his Jeep and opened it up. He climbed inside and sure enough, as soon as his door closed thunder rumbled. He started up the Jeep and pulled out of the driveway and headed to ----------'s place. He was getting more and more nervous, and he stepped on the gas pedal. He sped the whole where there, blowing through two red lights, and a stop sign. In about five minutes he was parked outside.
He shut the jeep off, climbed out and walked up the steps of ----------'s home. He reached up and knocked on the door. He slid his other hand into his pocket, gripping the ring box he had with him. Tonight was going to be special. At least he hoped it would be. He's been planning on asking ---------- to marry him for quite a while now. He looked up when lightening flashed across the sky, and thunder boomed overhead. There was a storm rolling in, and he hoped it would hold out a bit longer. He stood there, waiting for ---------- to open the door. He was getting more and more nervous. He had this planned for the longest time and he hoped that ---------- would say yes.

Malachi let out a sigh, as his eyes moved to the clock on the computer screen. He cocked his head slightly to the side and groaned. It's been an hour since he had gotten back from lunch, and so far, no one has bothered him. He knew it wasn't going to be long till it happened, but he held his breath and waited for the ball to drop. As he leaned back into his chair, a knock sounded on the door. "Come on in" he called. The door to his office opened up, and in walked a red headed female.
The male cocked his head to the side and leaned back into his chair. He crossed his arms over his chest and raised a 'brow slightly. "Can I help you, Scarlett?" he asked her. The woman cocked her head to the side and smiled at him. "I figured I would come and find you, when you never called me. You told me you would the other night, and when you didn't, I got slightly worried that you weren't interested in me" she said with a small pout of her lips.
“And you are right. I'm not interested. It was a onetime thing. If you don't mind, I would like you to leave my office, and go find someone who's into people like you.”
“Excuse me? You aren't interested anymore? Well, that's fine with me. But what do you mean 'Find someone who's into people like you?'”
“You are nothing but an attention seeking whore. You threw yourself at me the other night, and that's the only reason why I even slept with you. I don't sleep with women the first night, and honestly, I regret doing it.”
"So in other words, you are calling me a whore? That's good to know. Just watch yourself from now on" the woman hissed. The male cocked his head to the side, and watched as she stormed out of the office. He shook his head lightly, as he turned to the computer. He looked at the time again and groaned. He loved his job, but at the same time he didn't. Like right now he wanted to be anywhere but here at the moment.
He pulled some papers out of the drawer by the computer, and as he was about to start filing them away, another knock sounded. "What the hell do you want?" he snapped. That's when the woman who worked for him poked her head around the side. "I'm sorry to intrude, but you have a phone call from the Prime Minister. He doesn't want to wait another day to talk to you" she said lightly, as she bit the inside of her cheek. The man nodded and said he would take it finally.
He watched as the woman closed the door behind her, before he lifted the phone out of its cradle. "Good afternoon Prime Minister Jones. How can I help you?" he asked. He knew he was laying it on thick, but at the moment he didn't care. He wanted to get this phone call over with. The Prime Minister wasn't always that willing to talk. He sighed lightly as he leaned back into the chair. "I'm just wondering why you haven't taken any of my calls until today." he snapped, making the man wince slightly.
“I've been dealing with a lot as of late. As you remember my parents just passed away, and everything at the office has been eating my time up.”
“I'm sorry about the loss of your parents, and I don't believe the office can take up that much of your time. When are you coming to Rome? We need your business here more than ever.”
“I've been thinking about that a lot lately, and as of right now, I don't think I'll be coming out there anytime soon. The business here needs me, and I can't just up and leave like I wanted too”
"Or is that your way of saying you aren't coming period? You've been getting everyone's hopes up over here. You need to pack your things, and leave in the week. I'm booking your flight right now, and I will not take a no any longer" click... Malachi just sat there, the phone beeping in his ear. What the hell just happened? He sighed lightly placing the phone down. Did that really just happen? He sighed as he rubbed his face a bit.
He didn't know how to even bring this up to his brother's. He didn't want to leave, but he had no choice in the matter now. He stood and gathered up his things. "Heather, I'm leaving for the afternoon. I'm not taking any phone calls at home, so please make sure everyone knows that" he said, as he walked out of the office. "I'll try too, have a good rest of the day" the woman called. He nodded lightly as he made his way to the parking garage.
He walked to his car, slid inside and started it up. He pulled out of the parking spot and headed towards the park. He didn't know what to even do now. As he drove his mind went back to the phone call he had. He knew he had to let his brothers know, but right now he had to gather his thoughts. He pulled into the parking lot of the park, parked his car and climbed out. He then moved over to the playground and sat on a swing. He started pushing himself back and forth.
This was going to be a long ass day, and it still wasn't over yet.

Hunter let out a small moan as he rolled over and felt another body against his side. A small smile passed over his lips, as he wrapped his arms around the slender waist. He pulled the woman against his chest and buried his nose into his hair. He took a deep breath and sighed again. "It's time to wake up" he said lightly. A small moan passed though the woman's lips as she rolled onto her side and locked her eyes on his. "Do we really have to?" she whined, as she tangled herself around him.
She managed to flip him onto his back, and she was on top of him. They were both nude, and the night before had been amazing. The pleasure, the sounds she made. He didn't even remember her name either. "Yes we kinda do. I have to get home before my brother's freak out on me" he admitted. The woman shook her head lightly, as she leaned down and pressed her lips against his. She pulled back and giggled a little. "Do you really have too? You can stay here in bed all day" she offered.
The offer was tempting, but he knew he couldn't. He sighed lightly as he drew her down and kissed her again. "I can't stay, I have to go" he said as he lifted her up and off of him. He then climbed out of the bed, and found his clothes. The woman sighed and rolled her eyes. "Honestly, if you walk out that door right now you will never see me again" she snapped. Damn, she was demanding. Hunter looked over his shoulder and shrugged a bit as he got dressed.
"Honestly, I don't care if I ever see you again. I only wanted you for the sex, and I got what I wanted. So it's time for me to leave" he said with a smirk. The hurt look on her face was enough for him. He grabbed his shoes, sat on the edge of the bed to put them on. When he tied them, he stood and pulled his shirt on. "Is that really how you treat every woman you sleep with? Like she's a fucking whore?" she snapped as she wrapped the sheet around herself.
"No this isn't how I always treat them. I'm always gone the night of. I never wake up beside a woman, because that's just how I roll. Honestly, because you are such a whiner it's making me feel sick to my stomach. That's why I'm leaving" he snapped back. The woman grabbed a vase off the side table, and threw it at him. He ducked it, flipped her off and walked out of the room. "You are a fucking man whore!" she screamed at his back. That made the male smirk even more.
The male knew he was a man whore, and he didn't need her yelling that at him to remind him. He wanted to turn around and smack her. He was somewhat a gentleman though. He would never raise a hand to a woman. He wasn't like all of those other assholes in the world. He sighed a bit as he opened the front door, and walked out of the apartment. He was kind of regretting even staying as long as he did. He walked down the hall, and out the front door. He found his car, unlocked it and climbed inside.
He started the car and pulled out of the parking spot. He then got his bearings, and then headed towards the highway. He didn't realize he had come out this far. He smirked a bit wondering if the woman had her car or not. If she didn't, she was shit outta luck on that one. He shook his head lightly and headed back home. He would need to make a stop and get something to eat though. He needed to gather his thoughts, and really think about what's happening with his life.
He laughed at himself, as he rolled down the windows, turned up the volume and just let himself drive. He didn't know if it would be worth going home. He shook his head, as he let the drive take his mind off of things. Pretty soon he was at his turn off, and he pulled into the parking lot of a Denny's. He shut the car off, climbed out and went inside. He got a table, and a waitress gave him a menu. He looked her up and down and smirked a bit. Maybe she would be his tonight.
He wasn't in the mood to really think about that. He looked the menu over, placed his order, and then leaned back against the booth. He put his hands on his stomach, and waited for his food to arrive. His mind did go back to the woman he had slept with she was a spit fire, but he was glad he didn't have to deal with her anymore. He looked around the small place, and people watched as he waited for his food.

Boxes were everywhere. It was moving day, and it was the last thing Andrew wanted at the moment. He had just gotten his heart shattered by the one person he thought wouldn't want to hurt him. He had given the woman six years of his life, and for what? Just to have his heart ripped out, stomped on, and to find out she had been cheating on him all along. He had been so blind, that he didn't even want to believe the signs he had been seeing. He shook his head and looked up when the front door opened.
"Andrew? Are you here?" Star called out. Andrew sighed, and looked back into the box he was working on. "I'm in our bedroom" he called back. He knew he should change his wording, but he didn't care. Not anymore. This was still their room, and she still had his heart. There wasn't a day that wouldn't go by, that he wouldn't miss her. "I thought you would have been gone by now" she said as she walked into the room, a couple coffees in her hands. She walked over and handed him a cup.
"I figured I'd get all my shit out" he said as he took the cup. She smiled lightly, as she sat down on the bed. "That's how you always are though. Wanting to get things done" she said lightly. That's when the silence washed over them. She lifted the cup to her lips, and then looked around the room. "It's going to be weird when this place sells" she breathed. That made Andrew's heart skip a beat. She really was thinking about selling the place, and he didn't blame her.
“It'll be sad, but it just means that you'll be able to fuck anyone you want, anywhere you want”
“Will you please not be like that? I told you how sorry I was.. What more do you want me to say?”
“Oh I don't know. That you are done sleeping around, and that you want to work on things with us. We were supposed to be making our family”
“Andrew, things change. People change, and so do feelings. I didn't want to hurt you, but I knew if I didn't tell you, it would hurt you even more. I'm not in love with you anymore. We jumped into things when we were still in high school, and I knew it wasn't going to work”
“It honestly feels like you didn't want it to work. You weren't home, and when you were, it felt like you weren't. So just because we were together in High School, doesn't mean it wouldn't have worked. You just didn't want to work on shit”
"Andrew please.. This is hard on us both. I do care about you, but I won't be in love with you again" she said lightly. That's when they both fell silent again. Andrew just sat there, and he shook his head. "You are wrong" he breathed. He then placed the cup on the side table, taped up the box, and then he was ready to go. He didn't even say anything else to her. There wasn't anything to say. He was tired of the abuse from her, the lies, and the fact she didn't love him, tore him apart.
"Andrew, please say something. I don't want to leave things like this" she pleaded with him. He shook his head, as he looked back towards her. "There's nothing more to say. You made up your mind and are so willing to let someone who loves you more than anyone go. What should I say?" he snapped. He bent down and picked up the boxes and carried them out of the bedroom. He only had three boxes total, and that was it. Everything else of his had been moved out during the week. He didn't need anything more.
Star on the other hand, just sat there. She shook her head lightly and looked down at her hands in her lap. "I guess you are right" she said lightly. Andrew didn't say anything more as he walked down the hallway, and out the front door. He took his things to the beat up truck and placed them in the bed. He then climbed into the driver's seat, started the truck and looked back towards the house. This was the last time he would ever see it. He cocked his head, when he saw Star standing there.
He hoped she would realize what she had done. That she lost the one person who loved her, and that she would be hurt in the end. He shook his head lightly as he pulled away from the curb and headed into town. His brothers were expecting him home soon, so he stopped at a bar, parked in a spot and walked inside. He might as well get shit faced drunk. No one would even care. He walked over to the counter, took a seat and ordered a couple drinks.
He hoped that these would numb the pain in his heart, and he hoped that he could find another woman sometime soon, but right now he just needed the drinks and the pain to leave his heart.

"Shawn? Can you come in here please?" the sound of Rosa's voice sent shivers down Shawn's body. She was beautiful, had legs for days, and she was at least ten years older than he was. He sighed as he dropped his sketch pad down, and stood. "What is it Rosa?" he asked as he walked to the bedroom. She was laying on the bed wearing close to nothing. He took one look at her, and he nearly attacked her, and pleased her till she screamed. That would have been a good idea, but he stayed where he was.
“I need you to help me choose what to wear tonight. Daniel is taking me out to dinner, and out on the town”
“Why the hell do you need me to help you with that? You know how I feel about you going out with other men”
“Oh Shawn darling, you and I aren't really a thing. You are too young for me. Yes you are amazing in bed, but that's all you will be to me. I don't need someone like you, I need a man like Daniel”
“Then why keep me around? Why keep me for the bedroom romp? If that's all I am to you, then why don't you let me go and you can have whomever you want”
"Do you really think that Shawn? Or darling, you are free to leave whenever you want too. I'm not stopping you" she said lightly as she looked up towards him. Her eyes drew him in, and it made him weak. That's all he would ever be to her. Just a good fuck, and that's it.
He shook his head lightly, as he turned and walked out of the room. "Where are you going?" she called as she scrambled off the bed and ran out of the room. "You can't leave me. You know you'll be nothing without me. It's because of me, you've become the man you are today" she cooed lightly. Shawn spun around and glared at her. "Yeah, you might have taught me a couple things, but that doesn't matter. I'm done being your sex toy" he snapped, seeing the look of pain in her eyes.
He gathered up his sketch pad and pencils. He put them into his backpack, and then he was ready to go. He gave her the bird, and walked out of the house. He didn't need her anymore. The person he needed was ---------- though. He needed his best friend. He pulled out his phone, scrolled to her number and sent her a text. ----------, what are you doing? Will you meet me at the mall? Rosa and I got into it, and I need a friend right now.
He read the message over a couple times, and then hit send. He didn't care if it sounded like he was begging. He needed his best friend. He walked to his beetle and threw his things inside. He climbed in, started up the car and pulled away from the curb. He turned on his Skillet CD, and headed to the mall. He didn't want to go home yet. It was still early in the day, and he just needed some alone time. He would bring everything up to his brothers later. Then again, they had their own issues to deal with.
The moment that the mall came into view he pulled into the parking lot, parked under some trees and then took the long walk inside. The walk helped clear his head a little bit, and then he pulled out his phone to see if ---------- had messaged him back. Nothing yet. He sighed a bit, as he sent her another message. If you do show up, I'm going to be in the book store. Need some new sketch books, and books for school. and then hit send. He slid his phone back into his pocket.
He walked towards the bookstore and went inside. One of the workers smiled as he walked in. "If you need anything, please come and ask" she called. The male nodded lightly as he went straight to where he needed to be. He started scanning the books he was needing, and then pretty soon he had two sketch books. He then went to find the ones he needed for classes on Monday. He sighed lightly wondering if ---------- would even show her face or not. He wouldn't blame her if she didn't. He had been brushing her off.
He shook his head at himself, and then went back to looking though the books trying to find the ones he needed.
