Estateira (me), at the age of twenty-four, resides in Arcantrajia—a grand and melancholic city. She aspires to pursue the path of medicine, learning to become a healer and aid the afflicted. However, her journey ahead is arduous. Lord Argos, the ruler of Arcantrajia, exploits the spread of diseases to eliminate his enemies, perceiving Estateira and others like her as a threat. In response, she endeavors to thwart their activities through various means. Nonetheless, Estateira refuses to surrender, ultimately standing her ground, leading to her capture and imprisonment.
