Thomas stepped into a market of stalls, which was famous for the meat sold in the market, mainly the fish. Thomas wasn't here for any fish though. He walked down a hall of stalls till he got to his favorite stall, the blacksmith stall. He laid his katana on the anvil and went up behind what looked to be a short man in his thirty's and tapped his shoulder. He stopped sharpening one blade. âEh? Ah Thomas, what can I do for you?â The blacksmith had a long, brown beard and an odd accent. Thomas pointed to his katana. âSharpen it.â The blacksmith raised his eyebrows. âYou got it sharpened last week, how about you lay off the duels?â Thomas shook his head. âNope! Never! Can't!â The blacksmith sighed. âIs that the only way you make money? In the pits?â Thomas didn't answer, which made the blacksmith sighed again. The black smith went over to his katana and began to sharpen it as much as he could. âYou get this thing repaired so much, aren't you worried it might snap in half because of how much metal I'm removing of this thing?â Thomas ignored him again. âYou sure do love this thing, you even made me fix it up for you when you turned fourteen so the sword could fit in your hand. You this is but a young phantoms training katana yes?â Thomas nodded. He didn't seem to like to talk much about his katana, but sometimes he gave some info on it, which one wouldn't expect when meeting him because he is usually outgoing. After fifteen minutes the katana was done being sharpened, and the blacksmith gave one more sigh before handing it over to Thomas, not a single word from the two as Thomas walked off, with only a wave. He waited for a carriage to come by before giving the rider some gold coins and hoping in to his next destination, at the foot of a mountain in which his new school/college was closely located. After what felt like hours he got off the carriage and waved to the rider before stepping inside the cabin and plopping down on his bed, propping up his katana, drifting to sleep,
(Itâs really good haha sorry if my post is shorter than yours, but thank goodness itâs more characters cause I struggle when it is one liners, it doesnât give me much to go off of, but sometimes I hit like 1,000 characters ^^ and yes infact she is, she is off of a book series actually, itâs called Michael vey)
Taylor had been in her room studying for a test, he head was hurting from all of the studying since she had been in there for most of the day. She was unsure of if she should go make herself dinner before she studied more, or if she should just keep studying, she really didnât want to fail and always kept up with her studying so she passed all her classes. She was also quite popular in the school and she wasnât even trying to be, she had always wondered how she had gotten so popular. Maybe it was because of her cheerleading abilities, she had been taking cheer for quite a few years, and she planned on continuing. Cheer was one of her favorite activities to do and she wasnât planning on giving it up. She looked at her alarm clock and saw that it was about past 5 and sighed a little. She headed toward the kitchen and pulled out one of the recipes and read over it trying to see what the ingredients were and then began cooking. She had the thought of calling her mom after dinner just to check in on her and her father since she had moved away for college and was quite alone.
(Sadly there is no movie series âyetâ they been trying to get people for it, they only have like 3 people, but everyone else they donât have. But there is a book series and like I said itâs Michael vey đ itâs an 8 book series and there is a 9th book being written, and I feel you, if I donât know what Iâm doing then I like someone else to start it off and then itâs easier for me to go off of it haha)
Thomas couldn't fall asleep no matter how much he tried. He was excited and nervous about his new school. What could he be nervous about? Whether theirs a fencing club of course! It's obvious right? Right? Thomas got up and stared at his katana and sighed. âWhy can't I just falla sleep already? I should just knock myself out with a rock or something, would be faster and I'd heal overnight.â Thomas laughed, but not very loud. âYeah right.â He fell back onto his bed and put the pillow on his head and drifted on to sleep finally. But then woke up a few seconds after. âOH COME ON!â He got up and sighed angrily and stepped outside, looking around. âGuess I'll go for a little hike before the sun rises. I doubt I'll be tired if the sun rises before I get back. Thomas grabbed a waterskin and some âsnacks," these âsnacksâ being a entire sack full of fish which he stored in his bottomless satchel âinheritedâ from his villages elders, and began his hik up the mountain. He effortlessy climbed the mountain till about the midway point and stopped to look at the moon and the trees below him, and his cabins later shining through the windows of his cabin. How he got this cabin is a mystery which most likely will never get out, he most likely had constructed it himself which wouldn't have took much as he had some strange abilities some did not have. Which was normal for a Time Phantom. He are some bits of fish and sipped some of his water, which did nothing. âBleh, so salty. I should've brought some other meat.â He continued his hike till he got to the top of the mountain, which the sun then started to barely peak out. Thomas would most likely be late for class or arrive just in time for it. He began to hike down the mountain which he then started to feel tired mentally. âWhy did I hikeâŚI feel so dirty nowâŚmy trench coats getting dirty too. Ah, oh wellâŚ..â when he arrived back at the cabin he took the fastest shower he could, washed out the stains on his clothes, then got a carriage to his new school. When he arrived the bell for recess had rang. Thomas got out of the carriage and fell to his knees, feeling like he couldn't walk to the doors of the school. He then made himself stand up and walk, big bags were under his eyes and he looked like he had seen better days. He made it to the recess area (I've only ever been to online school I don't know what you call it XD) and sat down on the ground in the quietest place he could find and closed his eyes trying to rest.
Same here it's easier to go off of a post XD but then you can't really shape the encounter well. Also I dont know how I managed to post two 2000 posts, thats a new record 0.0
Also my OC isn't like a depressed one don't think that I'm not the kind of guy to make a punching bag oc, just seems lame XD.))
Taylor woke to her alarm ringing and she groaned she was so exhausted, she had been up studying late and had gotten all of her homework done. She got out of bed and hurried to get dressed and ready for school, she did her hair into a bun with 2 Dutch braids on the side of her head. She then went down to the kitchen and ate some cereal and then grabbed her bag and ran out the door and walked quickly to the school. She entered the doors to the school and didnât realize Thomas there and ran right into him her bag dropping and all her homework and books falling out of her bag. She fell to the ground onto her butt. âOOF!â She sat there for a second feeling dazed about what happened and then quickly started to pick her things up. âIâm so sorry, I-I didnât see you there and I-â she looked up at him and her eyes sparkled a little. She hadnât seen anyone like him before and she never seen him before either so she knew he might have been new. âYou must be new.â She smiled a little and stood up as she grabbed her last book. âI hope you like it here and that you feel welcome.â
(I donât know what itâs called either, I only did public school till first grade and then I was homeschooled and then I was in UTVA and now Iâm homeschooled but I take seminary and seminary is different đ)
He blinked. âHm? Huuuhh?âŚ.â He said rubbing his eyes, as he looked like he hadn't slept the entire night, Which he hadn't. He got up after she picked up her books. âYeahâŚ.I'm newâŚmind showing me aroundâŚ.to the dormsâŚ.andâŚquestionâŚis their a dueling club or a fencing cl-âŚ..â his voice trailed off, he was to busy staring into space. Thomas got up slowly, and started to slouch which wasn't usual for him at all. He looked around and spoke again. âDon't even ask for my name, I have like no energy to give you itâŚâ He lied, he just didn't want to change the conversation. âAnywaysâŚ.the next class startsâŚ..â. his voice trailed off again.
Taylor tilted her head. He seemed to be not completely there. âAre you alright? You donât look too well.â She took a step forward towards him and then pulled back she was afraid of what she would read in his mind and didnât want to, she had powers ever since she could remember and she had noticed a glow in the darkness that came from her skin. Whenever she touched metal she could read peoples minds and whenever she touched someone. She waited for him to answer her and then she asked if he needed help walking towards the classroom. âIâm not sure if there is, I havenât paid much attention to the clubs here, but I can help you look.â She gave a soft small smile and stayed near Incase he fell and still waited for his permission for her to help him.
(Itâs alright no worriesđ)
He nodded. âThat'd be goodâŚâ Thomas said sleepily. He didn't even blink once, instead he'd close his eyes for a second before opening them again. "I'm running on one percent of sleepâŚ.." he said as if he was a phone. He rubbed his eyes again. âI'm gonna sleep in classâŚâ he said a little too loud. He didn't even notice, but probably wouldn't care.
(Again, sorry for the short post, I usually just end up writing paragraphs when I'm responding to something.)
Taylor giggled softly. âCome on now, letâs get you to class before you pass out on the floor.â She guided him to class. His thoughts ran through her head as she guided him since she was touching him. She tried to ignore but it was nearly impossible to. She hadnât found any way to block peopleâs thoughts and didnât think there was a way she could.
(Itâs no worriesđ)
Thomas entered the class room and waved to e everyone. âWhat do they do in these schools?âŚ. haven't been to one forâŚ.â He began to count on his fingers. âAh, it's been longâŚ.butâŚdo I justâŚgo up to the teacher and introduce myself?" He didn't seem to want toe explain why he hadn't been to a school in forever, but his thoughts had said it all.
Thomas stepped into the his elders room. âManâŚ.I really don't want to kill you guys, it was so fun being able to train here non stop, not so much being told to shut up!â He yelled bitterly at the elders, which the first one looked brave, but a hint of fear could be seen in his eyes. The second elder was shocked. âThomas! You are the best swordsman in this village, a time phantom, The last one! What has brought you to this, this, torching of the great village!?â the third one looked disgusted. âYou brat! Do you think just because your the self proclaimed best swordsman you can take on us three elders!?â Thomas scoffed. âTo hell with your âgreat village", it was the crappiest place ever, you destroyed the continent of ----!"
Thomas stopped thinking and snapped back to reality before finishing his thought. He looked at her, she was getting blurry. He passed out for a second almost hitting the floor, but then he stopped before he hit the floor. The other students and the teacher couldn't see, but he was levitating above the ground, he than put his hands on the ground. It didn't look like he was flying though, oddly. He got back up and face palmed, either out of mild embarrassment which was rare for him as he was usually annoying or making people embarrassed, which was the most common side of him. âAhâŚmind telling meâŚâ
(đđ¤Łđ lmbo your fiiiiiiinnnnne Iâm patient haha I know long posts take time, sometimes I have to like go back and read through just to make sure Iâm not missing anythingđ)
Taylor was shocked when she read his thoughts and donât know what to think of them. âO-oh, the teacher will call you up to the front of the room and ask you to introduce yourself to the whole class.â She had seen him almost hit the floor, but she didnât see him Levatating and she helped him to his seat and sat down next to him since it was the only seat open. She waited for the teacher to start the class and when the teacher did she called Thomas up to the front of the room. âThomas will you please come up and introduce yourself to the class? We are happy that you could join us and then you can go back to your seat.â She smiled warmly looking straight at Thomas.
Oh and Thomas isn't that anime character who is good but has a bad past XD))
Thomas rubbed his eyes and stepped up. âMy nameâŚis ThomasâŚ.â He didn't even say his last name, probably some good or bad reason for it. He went back to his seat, not even another word. He waited for class to start and then closed his eyes, almost instantly falling asleep. He didn't care if the teacher caught him or not. He then fell into a deep sleep and began to dream, just a bunch of random things and his usual, chaotic thoughts. The dream was some sheep dancing and singing to beep beep I'm a sheep. Then he began to fall through the floor at it turned into him running through some woods, a hug village in the distance which looked like it stretched across the entire continent, Thomas seemed to be at the edge of the continent, and he seemed to be at the edge of the forest bewildered. Then it switched to him in the village, his time it wasn't burning. He was running with what looked like some searing white hot fire in a glass bottle, which he dropped on accident, which the fire then engulfed the nearby houses, and spread quickly to the other wooden constructions. He was a child this time, but somethingâŚwas wrong. Which was obvious. But then the dream stopped and he woke up a ten minutes or so after, but he fell back asleep.
Taylor listened to the teacher and it had been an hour, she had taken glances at Thomas and wondered if he was alright. When the bell rang and everyone began to get up to walk to their next classes Taylor shook Thomas gently. âHey.â She said gently âclass is over, do you need help find your next class?â She was looking at Thomas hopefully waiting for him to wake up enough to focus, when she had touched him she had seen his dreams and it frightened her a little. She didnât know what they meant, but it looked like his past, or just some type of scary nightmare. She started putting her books and homework in her bag, she had turned in her homework that she had finished yesterday and was given her next assignment, it was this and then the test.
(Ahđ that makes sense haha)
Thomas awoke when he heard the bell rang. He looked around and yawned. âDoes this mean class is er- is class over? And mind leading me to the next class?..â He asked rubbing his eyes. He then noticed that the teacher didn't notice him and he snickered to himself. âAh, so the teacher didn't notice me, surprising.â He got up and stumbled a bit. âBlehâŚstill tired..â
Taylor giggled softly. âCome on, donât fall asleep on me.â She was guiding him to the next class when he said he was still tired. âI am pretty sure the teacher let you pass this one time since you werenât really responding and you seem like you canât focus on anything right now.â She had pulled her hair back into a ponytail since her cheer class was next. âAnd hereâs your next class.â She smiled stopping infront of a door.
(Haha, me either. đ)
He waved at her goodbye. âGot itâŚâ he yawned again. âWonder what they teach hereâŚ." Thomas stepped into his class and heard the word math, scratched his head and shrugged. what is math?? He said slightly confused, little did he know he was about to get even more confused as the class went on. He sat down on his desk and set his books on the table, and stared and the board behind the teacher. Then he started losing focus.
Thomas started getting lost in a memory, an attempt to keep himself awake. He was in a tall green tree, surrounded by a flourishing forest, holding a journal in his hand. He was drawing with and odd pencil, it seemed to change color, shape, and texture to fit whatever Thomas seemed to be drawing. The pencil seemed to be doing most of the work coloring in and texturing objects in the image he was drawing, while Thomas outlined it. Thomas then spoke to what looked like a pale sixteen year old with a black fedora and a grave diggers coat on and some black boots, and a double edged and bladed scythe leaning against the tree, the top blade being blue, the bottom being a light green, Thomas' eye color.
He stopped and looked up when the teacher asked him to answer a question. He nodded and nervously stepped up and began to solve it, but he ended messing up as he wasn't focusing in class. the teacher had to help him with it, taking longer then it should've. When he finished he went back to his desk and sat down, somewhat focusing.
Taylor was in her cheer class she wasnât really focused, she was just thinking about Thomas trying to figure out what was different from him, she found him strange and she didnât know why. She was awakened from her thoughts by her cheer coach asking her about her practice for a certain move. âO-oh yes, I have been working on that move.â The teacher nodded with a smile. âGreat, can you please show us?â Taylor nodded slowly and went out to the middle of the field and started the cheer move, she was very graceful and flexible in every movement. The teacher nodded. âVery good Taylor. Iâm glad to see that you have been practicing, you did well.â Taylor smiled brightly, she was the best in her cheer class.
(Lmbo, itâs alright hahaha and yeah it felt long, but thatâs ok đ)
âUghhhâŚâŚâ he said. âThis is so boring and confusing, and I have to do this multiple times over?â He muttered under his breath. Thomas started using a pencil as a âdrumstickâ on his desk, which didn't make much noise. He also began to tap his feet to the floor.he was praying for the bell to ring. Yet he didn't know what or who he was praying to.
(No worries I was going to like time skip to the end of the school class meaning like the last class of the day or something I donât knowđ )
Taylor heard the bell ring and then headed to her locker to grab her school clothes so she could get out of her cheer outfit, on the way to the bathroom to change she saw Thomas and wondered how he was doing, she smiled at him as she passed and head into the girls bathroom and quickly changed out of her outfit and then went back to her locker to grab her books for the last class of the day. She saw Thomas waiting for her and knew he probably needed help finding his next class which was the same as hers. âI can help you find out class, I know itâs going to take a little to get used to finding your classes by yourself and Iâm happy to help you.â Her eyes sparkled with happiness, she enjoyed helping others and wondered if that was the reason why she was so popular around people, that and maybe because she was a cheerleader. It seemed that a lot of guys interacted with her also, usually at the games for the college.
Thomas blinked looking a little less tired, having obviously slept in most of his classes. He rubbed his eyes. âHuh? OhâŚ.yeah sureâŚ. wouldn't mind some help. If theirs dorms mind showing me around to them after class?â Thomas said. A journal stuck out of his satchel, which had his name on it. It had a leather cover and was somewhat slim but it had a hardcover, their was some leather straps that bound it closed. Thomas noticed this but was reluctant to fix it, as it didn't seem much of a big deal to him. âLead the way.â He said without saying please, in a âI don't careâ tone. As if he'd rather not go to class, which he hoped that they got lost on the way their, regardless of whether Taylors or his grades go down.
(đ I hate when my images are small, I try to find a way to make the image bigger but I seem to sometimes always failđ )
Taylor noticed the book and found it strange. She didnât ask anything of it and nodded. âLetâs go, we will be late.â She sighed a little not looking forward to all of the studying she was going to have to do with her homework. There was a look on her face that looked like she wasnât happy. She hoped that Thomas wouldnât notice it. She felt almost as tired as Thomas and wondered if she would be able to stay up tonight to study. She had so many things to do that she didnât want to do.
đ¤Ł))
Thomas nodded and followed her to the next class, opening the door and sitting down at his desk till the teacher called him up to introduce himself. When the teacher called him up he did what he did with every class. Just saying his first name, not even saying his last name. He went back to his desk and stared at the whiteboard, not paying attention to anything the teacher was saying. Thomas didn't feel like sleeping in class, mainly because he had a slight suspicion that Taylor would tattle tale, which is who he thought she is, when she most likely isn't. Thomas just stared at the white board for a few minutes before losing interest, so he took out his journal and began to sketch out something he wanted to draw, which looked to be a top down view of a circular continent, with a huge village stretching across it, the edges of the circular continent had mountains lining the edges of it, with trees on them. The rest was just meadows, farms, and a ring in the middle of the village which was most likely a village. Thomas put it away half way into sketching and tried to pay attention.
Taylor was rubbing her temples and was struggling to catch on to the lesson, her head was pounding and she felt as if she were about to doze off. She looked over at Thomas seeing him sketching and watched a little. By what she saw, it looked pretty neat and she smiled a little. She had always wanted to be good at drawing. She bit her lip a little and smiled and tore a piece of her paper and wrote a note on it saying that he was good at drawing and threw it onto his desk and took a quick glance up at the teacher seeing if he noticed. It seemed not so she took a deep breath and waited for Thomas to read the note.
(đđ¤Ł)
Thomas noticed the note and blinked, already knowing who tossed it, he opened it up and read it. He didn't seem to have much of a reaction and began to write something on the corner of the page, as well as drawing something which the drawing seemed to be Thomas himself giving a thumbs up and saying thanks, with a little exclamation mark at the end. Thomas seemed a bit more energized after Taylor gave him the note, as he had something to do in class. He knew he'd eventually have to pay attention, but right now he doesn't seem to care much at all. He passed the note back to Taylor and put his hand on his chin and went back to staring at the bored.
Taylor read it as soon as he threw it back and smiled taking a glance at him. She wrote back to him. Asking if he needed help with studying. She was happy to help him knowing that he had been really tired and hadnât paid much attention in the first class and thought that it would be helpful to help him study. She threw the note back and looked up at the teacher, he hadnât seen and took a deep breath. She paid attention waiting for Thomasâs note to be thrown back to her desk so she could know more.
Thomas sighed and yawned, before writing on the note once again. im goodâŚ. I'd rather sleepâŚ.so tired.. Thomas wrote before tossing it back to her, and focusing on the whiteboard, not understanding much except any mention of history or a sword, or anything relating to the two. He was waiting for her response.
Taylor frowned a little, it was the first time she had been denied help from someone and she was taking it hard she took a deep breath and then wrote back telling him that it was alright and if he needed her help to just come find her. She tossed it back and then looked back at the teacher and waited for the bell to ring, she still felt that deep pit of sadness and did her best to keep her tears in. She wasnât used to people not allowing her to help, it had seemed that everyone who needed her help that they were grateful for it. As soon as she heard the bell ring she put her stuff in her bag and then got up and headed out of the classroom to her locker and then grabbed any books she needed for study and put them in her bag.
Thomas followed her out the door. âSee ya tomorrow. Ima head to sleepâŚ.â Thomas said it as if he was about to fall asleep right then and their. âIs their some dorms here or what? If not it's alrightâŚ.â He was blinking slowly, seeming to be even more sleepy then when he arrived. Thomas was slouching once again, his journal no longer sticking out, his bottomless satchel strapped shut. Thomas then scratched the back of his neck, then he jumped. âOh shi- I forgot my katana argh!â He probably should've been glad he didn't bring a sharp weapon to the school on his first day, but he didn't seem to think that.
Taylor nodded slowly. âItâs just down the hall and to the right.â Her voice sounded a bit sad, but it also seemed like she was trying to hide her sadness. And then when she heard his outburst she tilted her head, she knew if he brought his sword he would be in trouble and wondered if he knew that. She decided not to say anything and started down the hall. When she exited the building she looked around and took a deep breath and headed to her apartment. She had thought about getting a dorm at the school, but it felt like it was a lot of money and didnât want to use up all the money she had. She went inside and went up to her room and set her bag down and laid down on her bed.
He waved bye the her and began to walk down the hall and went to the right, and entered his dorm. He sighed, relived and locked the door before taking off his trench coat and changing into some fresher clothes before plopping down on his bed and drifting peacefully off to sleep, not a single dream, just sleep.
(The reason Thomas said he didn't need help was because he's not a simp. Well usually-.)
(Yeah I know haha, just thought that putting Taylor in that situation would put a twist in the story. Or something haha I donât know đ¤ˇââď¸)
Taylor tried to keep her tears in. She hated feeling this way and was trying to push her feelings of sadness away, but she couldnât and didnât think she was going to be able to study, so she cried herself to sleep and then woke the next morning, it was a Friday morning just one more day till the weekend. She groaned a little and got out of bed. Her hair was quite a mess and she still felt really tired and rubbed her eyes and started off to grab her clothes for today and quickly got ready for the day. She yawned a little while she walked down the stairs to the kitchen for breakfast.
Thomas got out of bed via jumping, not even yawning once. He stretched his arms and legs. âAhhhh! Feels so good not being half dead!" He got into his signature trenchcoat and put on the rest of his clothes, before put on his bowlers hat and gloves, and his very black shoes with looked somewhat cartoony. He didn't have to brush his hair since it seemingly never got messed up, even if he jumped in water or ran through a forest. He stepped out his dorm and looked around. âWhelp, I should head toâŚ.theâŚcafeterra?â He said mispronouncing cafeteria. If anyone was around they most likely would question why he doesn't know how to pronounce cafeteria, as it's not that hard to pronounce. He headed downstairs to get breakfast, praying to whatever deity he would be praying to that their is pizza. When he got downstairs he saw Taylor and went up behind her as quietly as he possibly could, which would be impossible if he had his katana as it would make a lot of noise, and yelled âBOO!â in her ear.
