Well, this surely starts a new school year, doesn't it? Lapistoria Academy looms over the forest, the shadows of the school falling over the students who have happened to arrive early at the gates, with their school supplies in hand. The scents of the village linger from the stone pathway and especially on some of the students. The roses climbing the school's gates and walls were in perfect bloom, especially the blue roses that looked elegant yet ever so mysterious. Students of all grades were talking, although spread around the enterance. Some were already surprised that it was their last year at the academy, while some were excited that they had managed to be accepted into the school. 

  Birds were flying over the school, with some students looking up at them and pointing out the rarer ones. A stream could be heard a ways off as more people arrived, smiling and speaking with their fellow classmates. If any student cared to look through the windows, they might've noticed some teachers doing last second prep in their classrooms. Nontheless, despite it being an hour until the school opened, more and more students arrived, including Y/C.

It was a perfectly clear day though, no clouds to be seen above the trees, and the sun shone happily down. Birds chirped from the trees, and all the students just seemed happy. So far, it seemed that it was going to be the perfect school year.

Yu had been waiting for this day as long as he could remember. In the non-magic world, mages were considered blessed by deities. Not everyone could wield a gemstone to the fullest. Most of his life, Yu had been a little out of the ordinary. Due to this he was often shunned. He took interest in things that were considered taboo, even for mages. His interest in Necromancy just outcasted him even further. Many people did not favor necromancers and Yu just had a proficiency in that field, he couldn't help it. Yu finally snapped out of the daze he was in when the train came to a halt. The tires begun screeching on the rails. Standing up, he sighed and began to gather his things. He hoped he wouldn't be the only one in the darker areas of magic, but it was also highly possible. After all, he did leave everything behind for this opportunity. Once he got out of the train, he took in the surroundings. It was beautiful. The ground to the sky was full of color and life, something that was absent in major cities. The air felt fresh, and the aroma of the trees whisked across the area happily. Yu got shoved out of the way, because he was just standing still in awe. He quickly got up and began walking to his dorm. The letter said it was housing 3, wherever that was…

Brin stood outside the entrance. Yaawwning. He had done the bare minimum for most his time here. Now in his last year here .mostly having just enjoyed his time here.  . He was waiting for a few people. A backpack was just on the floor next to where he was stood. He scrolled through his phone. Bored of waiting.

  Indigo had just arrived at the school gates, and she had happily skipped through to get here. Her buns that resembled bunny ears were bouncing as she skipped through. She had her luggage and her school bag, same with a broom she was wearing like a book bag on her back. Indigo was rather happy to finally be accepted here, considering the Abberly family had been going here for the past generations ever since the school had been founded. She grinned, looking at her fellow classmates as she tried to figure out who to talk to.

Yu had lost himself in the crowd. Staring blankly at the main building, it immediately overwhelmed him. It had to be at least 3 stories tall. There was a floating banner across the front saying, “WELCOME ALL TO LAPISTORIA”. In his mind, he was the only one in the courtyard. He grabbed his bag close to his chest and made his way inside. There were quite a few non-humans in the building. Enough to where Yu was the odd man out. It was wonderful. After all, they'd probably leave him alone due to that.

He got his schedule from the front desk and his dorm keys. Yu walked out of the building and inhaled deeply. Feeling the wind around him grow, he let it pick him up and lead him to his dorm. Hitting a wall once he got there, he slowly picked his bag back up and got back on his feet. Some people who were gathering around the dorm begun to stare. It seemed humans at this school were pretty uncommon. After he had walked inside he found his room number, and slotted in the key while taking a breath.
