Kaine had been sitting in a cafe, having a lavender frappe, but he had been on a call for a minute and he had asked something on the phone “shape shifting?” he had said on phone “depends.” he said before standing up to leave.
(I'm going to make them at the same cafe but they don't know it.) She was drinking some black tea while looking at her phone. She had to keep a watchfull eye out in case someone were to take her to prison. She was very dangerous but no one else in the cafe knew
He had left the cafe now, but he was still answering the call “alright, i'll get them”
She stayed at the cafe for a few more minutes but left eventually. She got a text on her phone. It said ‘stay away from the Assassin out to get you.’
He had been out of sight now, it was like he had disappeared suddenly
(Wait what if they meet on a train) She was walking around the city admiring the scenery
(Maybe that could work) Kaine was known to be a Assasin in the black market, but he never carried a weapon
Iris was a villain who turned good a couple years ago. But people don't believe her and are out to get her. She steals items from hightech museums that were originally stolen. People are out to get her but she avoids them by fighting. She boarded a train and waited till it started to move
He was the last one to get on the train, but he had passed by her before.
She looked over at him, thinking he was familiar but looked away. She started to put on headphones and almost fell asleep
He had noticed her but didnt bother to talk to her
She woke herself up and decided to talk to him. "You look very familiar."
He had stared at her “and how would i to you?” he asked
"I don't really know I've seen you from somewhere I just can't remember where." she looked back at her phone
The train had stopped and he had got off the plane now.
She got off at the stop after this and went home. The next day, she went on the train again
The person wasn't on the train this time, he could have been busy or took a different train now.
She got off at her stop and went to the coffee shop. She ordered her regular black tea and pay for her meal
Suddenly a bullet had hit the wall, but it didn't seem like a normal bullet, it was a longer bullet and it had a speaker, but it almost hit her and the speaker had spoke “run while you can before the gas gets your lungs” the speaker said from the bullet before it started to open and send out toxic gas.
She dodged the bullet by a few inches and stood up, grabbing her things and rushing out of the shop. She decided to see where the bullet came from, following the angle it was at. "Who ever shot the bullet should be around here."
He had smiled and then another bullet had instead hit her leg, it was like the bullets were shooting from different directions
“Shoot” she said. "I'll bandage that later." she looked around, still limping but trying to be alert and not get shot again. She was losing blood fast so she ran to the first person she saw and said. "Can you help? My leg is bleeding."
He had chuckled and he disappeared by the sight of anything, for the rest of the day
Eventually she did get he leg bandaged and went on the train so she didn't have to walk home. "Can't believe someone just shot me in the leg. And why me?" she muttered to her self.
He had been rumored as a Human Sniper, but very few people get to survive from his Assassinations
The next day she had a mission where she was supposed to steal a special artifact from a museum. They had been rumored to be taking objects from other museums and rebranding them as their own. When she got there it was dark and she assumed no one was there. (Btw she wears a dark outfit with a hood so it isn't easy to see her)
When she got the museum, it was empty and the special artifact was missing
She widened her eyes and looked around. She walked around and made sure no one was following her. "Where is that dumb artifact?" she muttered quietly. She heard footsteps behind her and turned around
He had been behind her and he chuckled while he had a gun at the back of her head “ever hear of trace calls?”
She tensed up but didn't move much. "Yes. Have you ever heared of Katanas?" she pulled a Katana from her back and pointed it at his stomach
He had stopped her and kicked the katanas out of her hands
She watched as the katana fell and stared at him. “What's the fun in killing me?” she told him calmly "Don't you like to have a rush of adrenaline once in a while?"
He chuckled “no thanks, I'd rather get the job done.” he said before he had walked away with the artifact and could not be found again
"Suit yourself, but I will find the artifact." she said. She decided to we if she could get a second mission done in the meantime and went to find a painting
Eventually after a few days, he had caught her and kidnapped her
She was tied up on a dark room. "Hey, let me out!" she was on the floor trying to get unied from the ropes
He smiled and sat down in front of her “not yet, i got something to do.”
"What?" she said. She eventually stopped trying to untie the ropes and listene to him
He then pulled her and kissed her with passion, the kiss may have made Iris have feelings for him soon, but it lasted for a moment before he pulled away from the kiss
“Wha-” she said. "Why?" she was confused and scooted away from him. "A couple days ago you were literally pointing a gun at the back of my head."
He smiled “i know, but over time from when i saw you, i had started to really like you.”
