“It’s very good, we don’t have anything like this, where do you get it?” Eden looked at echo curiously.
Well, I made it myself, Using stuff I've gathered from the forests I go to.
Eden nods. “I see.” She sparked a little and then looked him in the eyes. “What is the reason why you are here?”
Well, I'm here to find a golden herb called the legendweed.
Eden looked nervous, this herb grew right in the middle of her camp. And the tribe used it a lot, without it the tribe would perish. “What do you need it for?” The electricity sparked quickly between her fingers faster than before.
Well, I'm working on an elixir of sorts, one to help cure lots of illnesses.
Eden seemed even more nervous. She knew he wasn’t doing any harm with that, but she was still worried about her tribe, she couldn’t sallow them to perish.
Eden nodded “I-I’m fine.” She heard a snap of a twig and jumped her hand grasping her knife and the electricity sparking even more quickly between her fingers.
You seem really jumpy, do you want some herbs to help you calm down? I've got some chamomile tea on. He readies his bow, for whatever it was that snapped the twig, but he was much more calm about it
Eden was looking into the distance and didn’t respond, she was scared about something but echo couldn’t tell. Eden could have an excuse that it wasn’t the herb that he needed, but that it was something dangerous. “We need to leave right now.” Eden stood up and stomped out the fire the echo had used to cook the meat for the hamburgers and to keep warm.
“Just come with me.” There was fear in her eyes, she had an enemy and it looked like they had found her. She picked up her bow and put it on her back and made sure it was secured she was sparking a lot.
Alright, I trust you… Mostly. he follows, gripping his bow. he hasn't notched an arrow yet, but he has his guard up
She was running through the forest, she wasn’t heading towards her camp, she didn’t want to endanger them. Her best idea was to leave the forest. She hated the thought, but knew it was all she could do.
he follows quickly behind, constantly checking his back for anything but he doesn't see anything
Eden ran quicker her heart racing, once they made it out of the forest she looked around quickly her eyes held fear. She didn’t know her way around this place, she hadn’t been out of the forest in years.
Hey… so, just what is that thing? or who? he says, a little out of breath That was some fight or flight response if I've ever seen one…
“My enemy….we need to find a place he won’t find us…” she looked into his eyes, her eyes were filled with pure fear.
She followed him, she felt out of place she caught people looking at her and she looked down at the ground. “Can we hurry? I-I feel out of place.”
he leads you down a dark alleyway, and out into a small gap in between the surrounding buildings, filled with food carts Alright, who ever it was shouldn't find us here…Who was that?
“His name is Bryan…he has….he has powers like I do, we were in the same academy together for a few years back when I was 12, I escaped and the tribe found me, they took me in and taught me everything about it.” Her heart was beating quickly. “Just because we are here he could still find me…they have been looking for me ever since I escaped.”
Ah, I see, well, there's one place I think we could go… but I don't know if we could get out…
“What do you mean not get out?” She looked at him a little fearfully when he said that last part.
Well… there's this place, called the lost woods, they're… magical? In some way, they're like a liminal space, the only way out, is the way in, but it's called the lost woods for a reason…
Eden seemed fearful. “I-I don’t know, it’s a hard decision, I don’t want to be caught and I don’t want to get lost either.” She trembled at the thought.
“He’s too powerful…. There are others, he probably brought them, plus the guards…” she trembled a little.
Oh… Well, alright… what can we do then? he was getting noticably unnerved
“We just have to make sure we stay hidden, try not to stand out with powers.” She looked around quickly.
“Is there somewhere around here where we will be safe?” She tilted her head to the side wondering if echo had an suggestions.
“Can you get us there safely?” She hoped that he could. She didn’t want to be captured and she didn’t want him to get captured either.
Yeah… he grabs your hand and pulls you into one of the surrounding buildings, inside is a seemingly empty room, until echo opens a secret underground passage
Eden looked around quickly, her eyes filled with curiosity as he led her to the lab. After arriving, she looked around the lab, she looked at all the stuff he had and tilted her head, even though she was taken in with the others at the compound she had been imprisoned and had never seen any of these things, the only food she got was dried hard bread which she didn’t eat.
