Your a bounty hunter in a world where there is a mythical creature called a griffin. They were dangerous and would attack anyone they seen. One day you set up multiple traps and after some hours one of them went off. You caught a griffin, they were usually small but this one was huge, it hardly fit under the net. It growled and made a few sounds as it tried getting away. It was scarred up and had a rope around its beak, it seems someone else had caught this one before but it got away. You locked the griffin in your basement then went to eat. It made a loud bird/lion sound which sounded absolutely terrifying. The next day you checked on it but the only think that was there was a small winged girl curled up. You searched around for bit to try and find the griffin but couldn't so you went up to the small girl. She then jumped at you to attack, you dodged out of the way.
I grab her in an embrace as I dodge trying to calm her down “Hay calm down little one I won't hurt you”
I start to hum a calm melody trying to comfort her, Mummbles “She is terrified…”
He lowers his tone and says “I am going to let you go if you try to attack me again I will embrace you tighter. and you will be stuck for three hours… You understand”
he sighs and walks over to where she is hiding then he sits “Do you have a name?”
“She looked a lot like you…” He smiles “She was my world until one day she was taken from me and killed by griffins… I tried to save her but they attacked my wings and I was knocked out… When I awoke it was too late."
“Ya, it's fine I do not think you were part of it.” He unfolds his wings they have black feathers and there is a huge tear in them. he also removes his hood. “It still hurts to this day that is why I barely show them.”
He sighs and replies “Let's Hope you were not I am just starting to decide to not turn you in for a bounty”
“I won't. it's probably not your fault after all you were just scared when I first met you so I am starting to think there's more to Griffin than what I experienced…”
“Interesting… Your special I think I will not turn you in but we need some rules…”
I hand you a knife “If you going to not be captured you will have to stay in this form you are currently in and hold weapons that we use. Also, I can protect you but you will have to act like we know each other… You will be my friend. For your own safety. You must never go out alone until we get you a good reputation around my town. If you want to go somewhere ask first I will have to come with you. Finally, you are not a prisoner you can go back with your kind whenever you please Just do not show your true form to anyone except me…"
“Oh well, you do not have to fight while you are with me. We will just buy fish. I have a couple of pounds from the last bounty I claimed… Do not worry the last bounty was not from a griffin I do way more than hunt griffin.”
I slip my hood on and say “Well we better get going if we want to make it to the marketplace before noon.”
