Melony comes out of the kitchen area with Kaylee behind her and smiles looking Barry in the eyes.
“Your favorite.” She smiled softly her eyes sparkling as she continued looking into Barry’s eyes.
Melony nodded and smiled and came over and kissed his cheek, “I kind of went through your bag and I found the recipe and I thought I’d make it for you one of these days.” She looked embarrassed about going through his bag, it was the second time she had done it and the first time she had thought she was going to be in trouble.
Melony blushed and then giggled softly “it was a good thing I went through it, I wanted to surprise you and I’m glad you didn’t catch me, or you would have found out! And that would of been a no no.” She booped his nose and then kissed his cheek.
She giggled softly and hen she handed him a plate with the bacon burger and then she handed a plate to everyone else. “I hope you all enjoy.” She enjoyed cooking, and this was the first time in a while since she got to cook since she was busy trying to survive.
Barry took a bite and he was ecstatic. “It's been so long since I've had one of these.”
“It is quite good” Kaylee said with a smile.
Melony smiled “thanks, I really enjoy cooking.” Of course Barry didn’t know this.
Kevin took a bite and he smiled. “Yes it’s really good
“You do? Well, that's helpful” he smiled brightly.
Kaylee walked up to Kevin.
Melony smiled and took a bite of her burger. “Of course it is.”
Kevin looked at Kaylee walking up to him his cheeks going a little red was this really happening?
Melony smiled “I can tell why this is your favorite.” She took another bite. “They are very addictive and taste really good.”
Kevin was trying to keep his composer and not freak out “hey.” He smiled trying to hide that he was nervous.
“when did it become your favorite?” She tilted her head she had finished the burger and was clearing her plate.
Kevin nodded and scratched the back of his head “um yes everything is fine, no need to worry.”
Melony nodded “so it kinda stuck, nothing sticks for me, I always find something else.”
Kevin nodded “so, um, how are you?” He scratched the back of his head again, he was clearly nervous.
Melony nodded “well maybe this time it will stick with me too.” She giggled softly her eyes sparkling.
Kevin “good, just tired.” He gulped nervously when he was very close to her.
(Oh yea, sorry I thought i went😅)
Melony smiled. “You want to go for a walk?” She looked deeper into Barry’s eyes.
Kevin shrugged “I don’t know, what if Melony needs help cleaning up….or what if Barry needs me to help him with something.” He started stressing out.
Melony smiled and then took his hand and walked out, her cheeks were a little rosy, and the cold air made her nose a little red.
Kevin nodded and relaxed he sat down next to her.
Melony took it and put it on and smiled “thanks. Don’t want to get hypothermia again.” She shivered at the thought.
Kevin yawned he was closing his eyes
Melony nodded “I thought I was going to die.” She looked down a little.
Kevin nodded and slowly leaned his head down.
Melony nodded “that moment has made me hate the cold weather even more.”
Kevin nodded “thank you.” He sounded very tired and was already falling into a deep sleep.
Melony sighed a little “when do you think the apocalypse will be over? When it ends what will happen?”
Kevin was falling into a deep sleep.
“You mean we will have to keep running away and surviving for the rest of our lives?”
Kevin was snoring a little.
Melony nodded “I just wish it were over so we can other places too.” She sighed a little, “Atleast it is safe here, your my hero.”
