Victuri, on Ice

Victor had some how convinced Yuuri to move to Russia. After their wedding, the two were happily wed. They had a place together, and even a career. Yuuri had managed to convince Victor to skate again. It's not uncommon for the two to argue, but other than that occurrence they were happy. Happy together. In vow, forever.

Although Yuuri could speak little to no Russian, he was happy in their new home. Victor seemed happier as well. A dramatic change occurred when they moved in together. Victor got more affectionate, and they could be themselves. Although they weren't perfect, they were in love. Skating, dates, and simply being there was amazing for the two.

The only issue they had was Victor was turning 28.

Only 4 years older than Yuuri, it was still a change. Ice-skating would get more difficult. And Victor refused to step down. He was practically killing his body, breaking his ankles.

Slightly angsty, but it'll be upbeat, too. I'd like to be Victror but I'm alright with Yuuri if you wish!

Victor took a bite of his breakfast, occasionally glancing up at Yuri. "We have to head out to the rink today, красотка." He hummed, setting his fork down, closing his eyes and leaning back in the chair. Yuri's boxes lay at their feet. He still had to unpack to do, as their room was quite empty- Victor had a large home, so big that it must have been lonely for him when he lived without his new Husband. It wasn't something he liked talking about.

Yuuri sipped on some juice, and stared blankly at the floor
"Huh?
Oh, okay. Do we have to?"
He shifted in his chair, and sat back.
Yuuri fiddled with his buttons as he waited nervously for a reply

Victor raised an eyebrow. "Yes, I believe so? We have a competition in a few weeks, I figured you'd wish to practice?" He questioned, opening his eyes as he straightened up.

[I "We'll] practice, Yuuri." He hummed, grabbing his plate and taking it to the sink. "Are you alright?" He asked, washing his plate before setting it in the dishwasher.

"Well, it will be alright." He smiled, "We'll finish unpacking first, find our skates, and practice. You're an amazing skater, красотка, you'll do great." He placed a kiss on his forehead, before bending down to pick up one of the boxes.

He carefully pushed himself off the edge, and tried to skate.
He managed to go in a straight line for a few seconds, and had to stop so he didn't crash into the edge.

A few seconds later, he jumped, and landed awkwardly. Yuuri had almost landed on his ankle, but he was fine
