But I would still love to see how you start this :3))
Lucky was walking home from school (also, rakki means lucky in Japanese)
The ghost wolf girl was watching the girl as she walked home. She had not been seen for so many years but loved to watch and observe. And for some reason, the girl Lucky happened to catch her interest.
[i [b 'Hmm...can she see me?']] Maybe that shouldn't have been a question she was asking. But she was and so without thinking, Maddie hovered at the girl's side. [b "Hi..."] Came soft words
[i [b 'Hmm...can she see me?']] Maybe that shouldn't have been a question she was asking. But she was and so without thinking, Maddie hovered at the girl's side. [b "Hi..."] Came soft words
She turned around to see who was calling her and when she saw the ghost she screamed.
Ears pressed to her head and she bit her lip as the girl screamed. Something in her knew it had been a bad idea, but Maddie was just SO lonely. [b "I....I'm not going to hurt you."] The ghost wolf girl said softly, caramel eyes never leaving Lucky. She was really hoping the girl would believe her.
"Are you sure?" Lucky said, now feeling bad for screaming. The ghost wolf had never done anything to hurt her. "I'm sorry for screaming."
Her ears were still drooped as she slowly looked to Lucky. [b "I get being scared...maybe I shouldn't have gone about it like this.."] Maddie was still a bit sheepish now and trying not to scare Lucky more.
"I- I, umm. I can be your friend," she said, trying to convince the ghost wolf in front of her that she wasn't scared.
Caramel eyes did slowly come up and fall on Lucky fully. Her ears perked and tail wagged behind her. [b "Really?! It's been so long since I have had a friend!"] At that moment, the ghost wolf girl seemed more puppyish and almost like she had forgotten having her feelings hurt and scaring the girl.
"Well, how long?" she said. The ghost girl seemed really nice, so she felt a little bit comfortable.
She smiled at the ghost warmly. She raised one eyebrow and looked at her.
She smiled at the ghost warmly. She raised one eyebrow and looked at her.
Maddie's head tilted to the side and she blinked a couple times when she had been asked how long it had been since she had had a friend. It was the raised eyebrow which really made her try and think about it. But when the answer did come to mind, wolven ears drooped as did her tail. [b "It...since before I became a ghost. You're the first who has seen me in...almost...fifty years?"] The way she questioned her own answer was enough to say the ghost wolf girl really didn't remember.
"Oh" she said, thinking she made her sad. I'm only 16, how old are you, well, before you died
It wasn't the girl in front of her that had made her sad. Honestly it was the fact that she had been dead and alone for so very long that had done it. Ears twitched and Maddie gave a slow nod as Lucky spoke her next words. [b "I...well I was just a couple days shy of seventeen...."] Again, words trailed off as she spoke.
"Oh. My birthday's in two days." she said and paused. "Do you know Seikō Kishi?"
The wolf girl's ears twitched as she kept her gaze upon the other girl. And after a moment, Maddie did look to the fround and kick her foot. [b "I....no I don't. What is it?"]
"She's a who. Seiko Kishi is my mom. She. . died," she said. "I thought you might have known her because you're a ghost."
Maddie immediately felt bad. She was bad with names as it was...especially ones she had never heard before. And when she was told that the name was a she and even more...told it was Lucky's mother, the wolf ghost felt even worse. [b "I'm sorry....but no...being ghosts doesn't mean we know others.."] She found herself stammering
"Oh" she said, looking down
Maddie bit her lip and nodded before she looked down and kicked her foot. [b "Sometimes there is something called crossing over...those who aren't afraid move straight on...But those who are scaered or feel they have business left stay behind..."] She didn't know why she was saying it...but she thought that Lucky at least deserved to know that much.
"O-okay. So you decided to cross over right?" she said, looking at her for an extended period. She pondered why the ghost wolf had decided to talk to her rather than all the other near-16-year-olds.
The ghost wolf girl was watching the othee girl. A soft sigh slipped from her and she shook her head. [b "Crossing over means we wouldn't still be here on Earth... I...so no I haven't crossed over. I'm too scared to move on."] Maddie muttered. She hated that she was admitting her fears.
"Oh, sorry. Hm, well, I gotta go" she said kissing the girl's cheek even though she couldn't really kiss is
Her cheeks did colour at the other girl's attempt to kiss her cheek. That had been a first for her and when living, Maddie had been a very shy girl. [b "I...maybe I will see you again?"] The ghost girl asked, very near tripping over her own words. She honestly didn't want Rakki to go. It had just been SO nice to be seen and heard...and to not feel so alone...
"Well, we can hang out when I'm at home," she said smiling, yet blushing with embarrassment for trying to kiss her cheek.
Her ears perked up as she looked to Rakki, a shy smile coming to her lips. [b "I...so I can come with you?"] Okay, so that sounded WAY weird and Maddie even flinched when she thought about how it could have sounded. [b "I....I mean if you would be okay with that? I...I like the company and not being so alone."] The words all but spilled from her as she could not seem to stop rambling.
"Yes, you can come." She said, thinking about how she could get away with having a ghost in the house. "My dad probably can't see you anyway."
Without truly meaning to, Maddie let out an excited squeak. It was more because as she had already said she didn't have to be alone anymore. [b "You know...I almost think that is true. I mean up until you...no one has seen or talked to me before. Which is strange...but in a VERY, VERY nice way!"] And as she spoke, her ears twitched and her tail wagged.
She smiled nervously as she said, "Come on!" Then she lead her down the street to her house.
Maddie was so excited and immediately followed Rakki. [b "I promise to try not to get you into trouble."] The ghost girl said as she stayed at her side. [b "Soo..can you tell me a little bit more about you?"] Maybe she shouldn't have asked but she was much too curious for her own good. Probably how she ended up a ghost to begin with.
"Um, we'll I'm 16. I've recently met a particularly pretty ghost girl.." she said thinking
Wolf ears twitched as the other girl said her words and her cheeks flushed faintly. [b "Well you'r really pretty yourself!"] Maddie chirped as her hands did move behind her back. [b "Ummm what is your favourite thing to do?"] Yup, she was still so very curious of Rakki and wanted to even more. By now, the ghost girl figured she had been lonely and now was going to use the chance to be close to someone while she had it.
"I like to do computer science" she said. She looked at Maddie and then down to the ground
The wolf girl tilted her head. [b "Computer sciences?"] The words were foreign to her. But her eyes sparkled with her curiosity and she gave a bright smile. [b "Would you like to teach me?!"] Ears twitched and her tail wagged as again, Maddie was acting more like an excited puppy than a girl.
"Right, 50 years. I'm going to text my dad that I'm hanging out with a friend" She said, assuming that Maddie didn't know what texting was, or a phone so she was ready to explain
