For years and years people have been giving their kids up to orphanages, right? But what happened to those who didn't go to an orphanage? Well... you're about to know.

Long ago, four scientists had decided to get together and ask around for volunteers who would help them with an experiment. They promised that it wouldn't go wrong, but instead.. it would go perfectly right. They promised power and so much more... but people never wanted to do it... until now. Some adults who didn't exactly want their children decided to give them up to the scientists and... those children were the subjects that they had tested on. Like a group of rats from the subway station. For years they did this, killing off many children in the process.. until they succeeded. They began making creatures with wings... they didn't have names for them so they just called them "The bird kids" and so many other ones. But... they weren't sure how they did it exactly, so they ran every kid that was a successful project through a test. They latched on electric collars and chains, made them run, be chased, and fight the other subjects. They lived in small cages that were meant for dogs and cats and their life was being wasted away... until they made a break for it. Luckily, the group made it out of the lab and into the world, but they decided to stay together- for those who had abilities but no wings, the winged ones carried- they just had to get away. Once they had found and old abandoned house, they decided to call it home. And they've been living there ever since. The only thing is... now those scientists were creating other creatures to go after the escaped children.. so that superhuman strength, wings... all abilities they had were now being used to protect themselves.
