Egypt looked out the window with his arms crossed " this is stupid, i dont see why i need to be sent away to someones house." he huffed out as his father turned to him " that is enough! I want to hear nothing about it!" he yelled as the driver pulled over. Egypt gets out with his bag and looked at the old house " ew.." he said as he walked with his father up to the door
China's house was decorated from head to toe, inside and out, very traditionally; anybody with working eyes couldn't mistake it for another's modern home. China was sipping a glass of tea inside, sitting peacefully while doing so. He glanced up from the cup when he eyed two people outside his front door, letting out a silent sigh as he got up to answer it. "Greetings my friend. Come, you and your son may come inside."
"Yes, of course. I remember our conversation quite well. He will be in good hands while with me, you can rest assured." China answered with a polite nod and smile, retaking his seat where his cup of tea sat waiting for him. He looked over to Egypt and eyed the phone he held. "Having your phone out while with guests is extremely rude, young one. Hand it over."
China sighed once again, taking a slow sip of his tea that was slowly going cold. He didn't provide warning when he got up and snatched Egypt's phone out of his hands, returning to his seat after turning it off. "Seems as if you won't be getting this back any time soon. Continue to disrespect me or my instructions and I'll intentionally make things more difficult for you than they need to be. Is that understood?"
" hey!" Egypt was angry but hid it well as he turned away from him " yea whatever, i dont give a crap." Egypt already wanted to go home as he looked to see the car pulling away " dickhead.." he mumbled to himself as he watched the sun go down
Narrowing his eyes harshly at the profanity, China took the final sip of his tea before setting the cup neatly on the table in front of him. However, somewhat sympathetic to Egypt's situation, he decided not to comment on the foul language. "You are going to help make dinner if you wish to eat tonight. If you choose not to help, you'll go hungry until the morning, and I don't allow late-night snacks." He stated almost bitterly, resting his hands in his lap. "Would you prefer wonton and fried rice or chow mein and spring rolls?"
" they both sound gross." Egypt huffed as he stands and looks at him " where is your restroom?" Egypt asked, it sounded like he demanded to know where it was. Egypt crossed his arms as he kept his pack on
China eyed Egypt analytically for a few moments, not saying a word while doing so. "Take off your backpack first. I'm not stupid enough to let you take your chances with the wild pandas outside on your first day here, nor do I plan on letting you flee. Pandas can and will break any bone in your body without hesitance, despite how "lazy" they might seem. And if the pandas don't, the tigers [i will]." He stated coldly, as a clear threat that the creatures outside were deadly and that it was safer to stay inside. Though, all China needed was confirmation Egypt wasn't going to the bathroom to sneak out the window.
Egypt lets out a sigh before pulling off the backpack and sitting it down " there, now where is your bathroom" he crossed his arms as he looked away from him, this was the first order that he had followed that China had told him to do
With a finger, China pointed over to a nearby hallway filled with doors to various other rooms. "It's the second door on the left," He answered simply, seeing no need to avoid the question as Egypt had listened to his instruction. "That's the one you will be using during your stay here. Please don't ruin it."
" yea yea." he huffed as he walked to the bathroom. he looked around and touched the walls as he goes in the bathroom. Something starts to ring in his backpack, his secound phone that he hid from China
As one might expect, China almost instantly looked to the bag Egypt had set down, eyeing it as the hidden-phone went off. Deciding against immediately taking the device from the bag, he let it ring out. China didn't want to invade Egypt's privacy or snoop around in his belonging; respect was a two-way road, so to speak; and rather decided to inquire the other about it when he exited the bathroom and returned.
Egypt soon walked out and sighed " now what." he huffed as he sat on a chair. Egypt seemed angry as he looked away from him and sunk down into the seat. he had grabbed his bag as he closed his eyes slightly
"Do you have multiple devices, or just the one?" China asked suspiciously, trying to probe Egypt a little to see if he'd tell the truth right off the bat without consequences attached. "I [i would] like to have all of them if you have more. They'll be returned one I'm confident you'll mind yourself."
" no i dont have anymore, just a phone" he glanced at him before looking away, he was lying to China's face as he held his bag to his chest before looking around " how old are you?" he said, trying to offend him
"I'm old enough to know that you're lying to me." He quipped in response with a slight roll of his eyes, holding his hand out expectantly. "Hand it over, I heard it ringing." China lightly demanded, sighing afterwards. "Again, don't make this harder for yourself than it needs to be."
Egypt mumbled something to himself as he pulled out a phone and placed it on his hand " there." he huffed out as he sat and looked away. Egypt just wanted to go home already since he didnt do nything wrong in his eyes
He hummed out, standing up from his seat to hide the two phones from sight, returning soon after he had done so. "You never answered my question earlier: which would you prefer for dinner?" China repeated, eyeing Egypt carefully for an answer.
" i guess, Spring rolls" Egypt said as he stands and pulled his jacket off, putting it in his backpack. all along his arms and neck he had markings, tattoos he got from a young age. he had on a short sleeved shirt that exposed most of them " i um.. dont know how to cook."
"Then you will learn to cook, otherwise you'll go hungry." He commented with a pinch of salt in his voice, said bitterness coming from the tattoos he noticed on Egypt. China sighed, motioning for him to follow as he lead them both to the kitchen. "If I have guests over, I will require you to wear a long-sleeved shirt at the minimum. Tattoos are extremely disgraceful for youth to have of your age here." He said calmly as he pulled out the basic ingredients needed to make spring rolls.
Egypt mumbled something to himself " im not that young, geezer." he huffed before nodding " fine, whatever." he said as he walked to him and washed his hands before starting to try and help " plus it wasent my idea to get tattoos. " he said as he sits and looked at China " i am required to have them." Egypt shrugged a bit
"I won't force you to hide them when it's just you and I in the house, but do hide them when around others." China didn't provide any further comments, instead pushing over a cutting board with a couple of vegetables and a knife over to Egypt. It was a silent way to tell him to chop said vegetables up, China having his back turned as he quietly prepared the wrap that went around the spring rolls.
Egypt starts to try and chop them into small parts " I usally have my cooks make me food." He said as he cuts, he was distracted as he slit his finger slightly " fuck!" he said in pain as he held his hand, and turned away from China, he was bleeding a bit
"Run water over it in the sink until it stops bleeding." China loosely instructed as if he had almost expected Egypt to cut himself on accident. He didn't move from where he was, nor did he look up from the food he was preparing. "There are bandages in your bathroom that you can use."
Egypt code as he was told " where is my room?" Egypt said as he crossed his arms and looked away, looking at the cut on his finger as he sighed, almost ashamed of himself that he cut himself. he walked to the living room and grabbed his bag.
"A door past the bathroom you were in earlier." China answered casually, soon after humming a quiet tune to himself as he heated up some oil to fry the spring rolls in. "I'm assuming you're going to put your things away. Be quick about it; I don't want you dilly-dallying and letting the food go cold."
"yea." Egypt soon walked to his room and lets out a sigh. he locked the door and pulled out his computer as he quickly types " Hey, sorry! My stupid dad sent me away to some old guys house. Maybe we can meet up, here is the address" Egypt sent his boyfriend the address and smiled a bit
" Alright, you sure we wont get caught?" " yes i promise! hey i have to go, ill talk to you later" Egypt hid the computer and puts bandages on his finger, walking downstairs and continued to help
- dinner- " Hey, China?" Egypt looked at him as he puts his fork down
China didn't question it; not much at least; and instead went back to peacefully making what the two would have to eat. If Egypt were to do something stupid while being trusted enough to not be supervised for a while, then he would get punished accordingly.

"Yes, Egypt? Do you need something?" China asked out in response after he finished a bite of his spring roll, looking up from his food in sync with him asking. "...Chopsticks, perhaps?" He added on, eyeing the other's fork, though not further prodding it.
"As in if you were to sneak out?" China inquired, slowly raising a brow as he semi-suspiciously eyed Egypt. He didn't immediately answer, instead, he took another bite of his food. "Well, I'll say this much: you'd be more carefully watched and your stomach [i will] be going hungry until you finish [i every] chore correctly that I tell you to do. Fair warning, the toilets don't clean themselves." China stated, hoping the mild warning was enough to answer Egypt's question.
