On an artificial island in a region yet to be discovered, there is a lab that has experimented with Pokémon. These experiments also included creating Gijinkas and hybrids, human versions of Pokémon and humans fused with the genetic material of Pokémon. These experiments are allowed to freely roam around the lab for most of the day unless they are taken for experiments or when it becomes night. The lab itself is expansive which provides space for some of the more energetic experiments to roam. There is also a hospital wing dedicated to treating ailments that might occur as a result from fighting.

While he does enjoy being around other people, there are times where he would prefer to be left alone such as when he starts becoming overwhelmed by his emotions. At this point, he will excuse himself from any social interactions in a polite manner while he tries to process his emotions. He is also overly trusting which tends to make him more susceptible to being captured by an enemy. This is the reason why those who are on the same team as him receive a recommendation to keep an eye on him so that he won’t end up being captured. Lithium walked around. “Subject 42.Just the one I was looking for.Wonder who is in here.”It seemed he was new in the facility.He was the manager,as so far, he was the only scientist.
Vaan was currently in the room that was assigned to him since he still felt a little sleepy. He couldn’t explain why he felt that way however, he decided to remain silent nonetheless and decided to stare at the wall as a result. He didn’t know how long it had been since he had first been turned into a hybrid by those who worked at the lab but he also decided to not question it for the moment as he sat there in complete silence.
On the other hand, Bartz had started to wander around his room and was waiting for the door to open until he realizes that it was unlocked for the day. While this realization took him quite a bit to find, he eventually gently pushed the door open and then stared out into the hallway before he started to hum cheerfully for a few moments. He seemed to be rather pleased with himself about opening the door and eventually stepped out in the hallway before he started to wander around the hallway. He was still humming cheerfully as he started to wander around and it was evident that he would probably in that cheerful mood all morning which he didn’t seem to mind at all.

They just went and left those of us who lived here without a word as to why they did so. It’s just been… more quiet without them around…” Vaan said softly. He was currently rather lonely at the moment which was the reason why he decided to talk about it for the time being so that he could just discuss it and get that topic over with.
“Why are you trying to break out when it’s so nice in here? We don’t have to worry about things trying to kill us, fighting half of the time or getting lost out there without anyone to guide us. He was one of those experiments that needed to be moved to another lab although he had been sedated before he was moved into the lab to prevent any sort of hostile behavior. Due to this, he would still be unconscious for a few more minutes as it would still take a little while longer for the effects of the sedative to fully wear off.

“Correct.He has been a zygarde since the dawn of time,the first one so far.Now he has a human form.”
He grinned at the thought.
“That and there are still Pokémon that need my help..and I can’t do anything..”
He seems sad.

“That’s so cool! I wasn’t a hybrid until several months ago and now, I REALLY want to meet Zygarde! Is it possible to even meet it someday?” Vaan asked Lithium. It was very easy to tell that he was rather excited now and as a result, a sparkle could be seen in his eyes that could be attributed to excitement and amazement at the current topic. He was always one of the more curious experiments roaming around the lab although he wasn’t as curious as Bartz would often get.
“Well, they might find their way here in one way or another. Besides, fate works in mysterious ways and because of that, we can try to expect the unexpected. It was fate that somehow brought us all here but who knows what lies ahead of us all. Even now, the possibility of something going completely wrong is real and rather possible. In fact, it’s so real that it’s kind of frightening and there was a resident Espeon here once. Nobody knows what happened to it but it always accompanied one of the scientists.” Bartz said softly. He didn’t realize that he had partially mega evolved which was indicated by the glowing tendril on his right wrist and even if he noticed, he probably wouldn’t care too much about it.

“I..want to see this “courtyard” you speak of now..”
Aster had said somewhat excitedly.

“I… ended up forgetting where the courtyard is so I might request some company to go there. Besides, I don’t trust myself to not get lost along the way since I ended up getting lost about a few dozen times when I first got here. On the other hand, I wonder if anyone new has arrived today. Besides, I like meeting new people and I honestly get really excited when someone new arrives but I haven’t had that sort of excitement for months. I’m just dying to meet someone new at this point!” Vaan said. He was rather excited about being able to meet a new person and wanted to meet someone new rather badly.
“Sure I can! Besides, it needs a little work but it’s directly north of our current location. It’ll only take a few minutes to arrive there and it’s also almost time for us to go out there before some tests are run on us. We used to go into the courtyard daily but I wonder if the new guy has changed the routine that we normally follow in here.” Bartz said as he walked over to the courtyard. He seemed to know his way around the lab rather well and also wasn’t afraid to show it as he navigated each and every corridor with ease until he reached the courtyard.
“Sure I can! Besides, it needs a little work but it’s directly north of our current location. It’ll only take a few minutes to arrive there and it’s also almost time for us to go out there before some tests are run on us. he speaks into the intercom.
“Courtyard is now open.”
“Follow me, Vaan.”
“I see.We should go now then.”
Aster says.

“Alright then… Lead the way… I’ll follow you so that I won’t get lost and who knows, some of the other people here might end up passing by on their way to the courtyard.” Vaan said before he exited his room. He seemed to be rather excited about going into the courtyard which was easy to tell by how he went into the hall before chirping cheerfully.
“Well, I think that we’re already here. I know the way to it and I took the path that I always remember taking in my past so now, I’m just going to go into the courtyard unless it ends up storming in some way. However, the weather is supposed to be nice today so I doubt that a storm will come to ruin our day!” Bartz said cheerfully. He ended up starting to wander around the courtyard before starting to roll around in the grass. He enjoyed the feeling of the warm sunshine and honestly wanted to stay in the courtyard for as long as the sun continued to shine.

“Sheesh!I’m not that bad of a guy..Am I?”

Vaan immediately turned his attention towards Aster and ended up slowly approaching him. “Hi there! I’m Vaan and I’ve been here for a while! This place is rather nice but I haven’t been able to meet new people for a while! So, it’s nice to meet you!” He said cheerfully. He was clearly in the mood to be rather friendly at the moment and as a result, was more social than he normally would be.
Bartz eventually stopped rolling around on the ground and then sat up where he was at. He ended up chirping contently and as a result, seemed to be in a much better mood than normal. He often liked going outside and enjoying the sunshine however, he was wondering who else would come out to join him out in the sunlight. “It feels so nice to be out in the sunlight! I honestly feel like I could stay here forever as well!” He said cheerfully as he continued to sit out in the sunny spot of the courtyard before he moved over to one of the shady spots. He really seemed to enjoy being out in the sunlight although he was also not using any of his powers at the moment.

“I’m Vaan! It’s nice to meet you, Aster! I’ve been here for several months now and the boy rolling around on the grass is named Bartz! He really likes being outside as you can see and he’s also very friendly so go and talk to him when you have the chance. You won’t regret it at all!” Vaan said cheerfully before he walked over to where Bartz was and sat down right next to him before starting to pat him on the head. He had been in the lab for about the same amount of time as Bartz and as a result, seemed to have bonded rather well with him to the point where that bond was almost unbreakable.
“Vaan… why are you patting me on the head?” Bartz asked Vaan. He seemed to start to question why Vaan patted him on the head however, after a few moments of being patted on the head, he started to purr softly as if he was a cat or something like that. He really enjoyed being patted on the head which had caused him to purr however, when Vaan stopped patting him on the head a few minutes later, he seemed to be a little upset until Vaan started to pat him on the head again. At this point, he had curled up on the ground and started to fall asleep.
