Its the middle of a long and cold winter in Japan, Y/C bumps into M/C, A tall dark haired male who looks a tad older than Y/C but seems nice enough. Kirinu Izaki turns out to be his name, after apologetically excusing himself, the two part ways. A few days later, the two once again bump into each other.
This is meant to be a 1x1 MxM slow moving romance roleplay. I enjoy the "journey" more than the destination, hence it being slow moving. Ages aren't a big problem, though Kirinu is 24, so any characters under the age of 18 are a no go. Im looking for a semi-lit writer who can give me at least three sentences. I say three because i prefer quality over quantity. I absolutely adore details UwU. I also absolutely adore placing my chars in awkward situations, especially in romance roleplays XD I also prefer animated or drawn character pics over realistic ones.
M/C: Name: Kirinu Izaki Age: 24 years old Gender: Male Height: 6'7 Appearance: Dark, almost jet black, messy hair. Tall thin yet muscular stature. Brown eyes. Bonus Info: Cat person, doesnt really like dogs. Has a grey Persian named Nobu.
Kirinu walked down the street. He gave a tired sigh as he was leaving his job for the night. He worked at a local bar, and though it had been fun at the beginning, listening to drunken people rant about their problems got tiring after a while. He shoved his hands in his pockets, not paying attention to the people around him.
Grayson stepped outside into the cool air. Taking a deep breath and stretching a bit. He had just finished his shift at a small café, as he finished locking up and double checking that the lock was secure; the key fell on the ground
Kirinu tilted his head, knowing the street well enough, he didn't feel the need to watch where he was going. Instead losing himself in his mind as he reflected on the days events at the bar. He gave a sigh, keeping his steady pace as he made his way toward his home.
Kirinu, not paying attention had not expected someone to stumble into him. He was jolted out of his thoughts as he reflexively moved his arms to catch the smaller person. He tilted his head slightly, looking down at the person he had caught as his hair fell into his eyes slightly.
"Eh- Yeah no problem...Are you alright?" He asked, narrowing his gaze at them. "Your not hurt or anything, correct?" He elaborated on the question once more with a slight tilt of his head in a notion of question.
Kirinu put his hands back in his pockets, walking the rest of the way back to his on home. He was careful to pay more attention as he walked this go around, his gaze narrowed as he eyed the path ahead.
Upon arriving at his home, he unlocked the door and stepped inside, only to be immediately greeted by his cat Nobu. The thick furred Persian cat climbed up his human's leg and side, eventually arriving at his shoulder as the feline balanced there expertly. He rubbed his face against Kirinu's as the human gave a light laugh.
Finally arriving at his apartment he search his pockets for his key. Once finding the key he opened the door only to be greeted with all the lights off except his bedroom light. He slowly but quietly entered and walked closer to the closed door. Jumping back a few feet when his neighbor stepped out.
After putting Nobu down, Kirinu walked to the kitchen. He had picked up Nobu's food bowl on the way and pulled out a can of wet cat food. Proceeding to open it and move it to the bowl before setting it on the ground where it was basically attacked by a hungry cat. Kirinu laughed at him, stepping around the eating feline as he walked back to the living room and sat down on the couch, turning the small tv on.
After a while of watching something random on the show, Kirinu drifted off to sleep on the couch. Nobu had joined him, curling up against Kirinu's side after the human had shifted unconsciously to get more comfortable, giving a soft snore though otherwise unmoving.
As Grayson's alarm went off he groaned and got up, heading for the bathroom to shower. Throwing on his work uniform after finishing up in the bathroom, he slipped on his shoes and dashed out the door heading to work.
Kirinu had fallen asleep on the couch, though even without an alarm his body was used to waking up early. He gave a tired grumble before getting off the couch and heading to the bathroom where he had already had clothes for the next day prepared. He showered and changed before brushing his teeth and going back to the living room. After putting his shoes on and making sure Nobu had food and water, he headed out the door, locking it before beginning his walk to work.
Kirinu crossed the street as the bar came into view. He gave a sigh as he approached the door, walking in and hanging his jacket before going behind the counter to prepare the glasses and such for the day.
Kirinu sighed as people began to come in. The mornings were usually pretty slow, most people preferring coffee or breakfast over alcohol. The late afternoon and into closing was when Kirinu would be really busy, that's also when the regulars started to come in to drink their problems away. He poured a couple drinks for the people as they ordered them, leaning against the counter afterwards.
He tried to head home but felt strange seeing three men stumble into the bar shouting. He wondered over hesitantly and stepped inside looking around for the men, hoping he could keep something bad from happening
Kirinu looked up sharply with a growl. He watched the men carefully, ready to step in if they tried anything. Since his gaze was pinned on the men, he was unaware of the male he had caught the previous day following them in. He crossed his arms, watching through narrowed eyes.
As they began bumping into people he went around apologising for the men's actions. And tapped one of the men on the shoulder telling them they needed to leave. But instead of listening they began shoving him back and forth laughing.
Kirinu growled, shaking his head as he stepped out from behind the counter. He made his way over and tapped one of the men on the back. "Excuse me, im going to have to ask you to stop that or leave. If you don't I have rights to use any means necessary. As stated on the sign." He said, pointing to a disclaimer sign on the wall. His tone was cold and dangerous as he narrowed his gaze at the troublemakers once more.
They growled a non apologetic apology and stumbled out of the bar but not before shoving Grayson to the ground. He glared at them as they left and mumbled something inaudible an pushed himself up on his elbows
He held his hand out to the male after giving the men a dismissive wave. "Hey, You ok?" He asked, his tone of voice had returned to a normal though questioning level. He tilted his head slightly, thus causing his messy hair to somewhat fall into his eyes.
He let out a small surprised noise, something like "Ohm?" , "Your the guy from yesterday... I take it you didn't get a concussion then?" He asked with a light chuckle after helping him up. He loosened his grip on the smaller males hand though didn't let go just yet as he wanted to make sure the other man was balanced so not to fall again.
"Sorry about those guys, they're regulars. Do you drink?" He asked quizzitively, tilting his head with a slight amused smirk. He brushed his hair out of his eyes with an unconscious movement, so used to doing it that he didn't notice it anymore.
He nodded, "Kirinu. Nice to meet you. Again." He said with an amused chuckle, putting his hands in his pockets. "Most everyone in the area comes here at least once, since you cant stomach alcohol that'd probably be why I haven't seen you before." He added thoughtfully. 'Your making him nervous.' He thought silently to himself, narrowing his eyes as he noted the popping of his knuckles and the previous fidgeting.
"I'm always at the Café, morning to night, except holiday weeks." He babbles, soon realizing it he closes his mouth 'this is a complete stranger what the heck dude' he scolds himself and crosses his arms over his abdomen
Kirinu gave a chuckle at this, finding the rambling amusing. "That explains it then. I was going to give you a drink or two on the house to apologize but you don't drink. Hmm... Anything else I can do for you?" He asked, holding a thoughtful expression.
"True, I didn't. Though a few of my drunken customers did. And that would be part of the customer satisfactory here, Keeping not just a few- but as many customers as possible- happy." Kirinu said with a shrug.
He laughed, placing a hand on the back of his neck. "Thanks?" He said, with a slightly awkward tone. "Its just my job...Its exhausting sometimes though at the end of the day, I can't think of one I'd rather have." Kirinu chuckled.
"Is what weird?" He asked, tilting his head in a rather confused expression. He busied himself with cleaning an abandoned table nearby, stacking the glasses and such. Though by the way he looked up at Grayson every few seconds, it was clear he was trying to show that he was still listening.
"the fact that we ended bumping into each other, twice in only 24 hours. That's not really normal" he laughed nervously, and glanced at a clock on a nearby wall "crap! I gotta go, um bye" he waved goodbye feeling a little empty as he walked away
Kirinu tilted his head, "See you around..." He said, somewhat quizzitively. He went back to cleaning the table before carrying the glasses to the bar, where he would then take them through a door and set them down to be washed before closing.
He dashed down the street towards the alley with he stray cat looking around for where it could be. Bumping into yet another wall resulting in a bloody nose. He cursed himself for loving animals so much
After a few more minutes, the bar was once again empty as Kirinu gave a sigh. He turned the sign on the door, flicking the open sig off as well before beginning to clean up the tables and such. It didn't take long as the worst of the mess was glasses left by customers who didn't clean up after themselves. Now by the current time, he was in the storage room behind the bar, where boxes and shelves of alcohol and mixtures were kept, as well as a large sink where the glasses and such were washed. This was the task he was focused on, washing each glass carefully in order to not break or chip them.
He left the alley with a very strange feeling as though he was being watched. Instead of heading back home he went back towards the café hoping that the more populated street would steer of the creeper. He opened the shop and turned on the lights as a signal that he needed help as a man dressed in black followed him inside
Kirinu finished up and walked out after putting on his jacket, he closed the door behind him locking it as a gentle click could be heard. As he turned, he began walking home, his hands in his pockets. He gave a curious expression upon seeing the café lights on. "Figured he'd closed up by now...." He murmured as he stopped in front of the lighted building.
He screamed not able to contain his fear any longer as the man reached for him. As the man grabbed a hold of him he covered his mouth not wanting to draw any attention. And slammed him on the ground stealing all money in the cash register and on Grayson leaving him on the ground unconscious an running out of the shop
