Ghostboo, with arms filled, walked around the ceiling of the house that both his ghostly and alive self called his parent's home; or, rather, two of them, as the third was tucked away inside a city surrounded by sand and gobbled up by blinding lights. He wasn't fond of that place, it was too loud for his tastes, so he hung around with Karl and Sapnap. If Quackity wanted to say hello, he was sure that the three could stay passive around one another for the sake of the enderman hybrid ghost. And it turned out Karl and Sapnap had another adopted kid, meaning that he had another sibling! (Don't get him wrong however, Fundy was just great, but he seemed to really click with James in comparison to the fox hybrid.) It brought a smile to his face every time, knowing that his family got that much bigger with a new member to welcome. As he walked around the [i ceilings], he popped his head into James' room, smiling widely as he approached the other ghost from behind and set a plush pumpkin on top of his head- a gift he had gotten specifically for his brother. Ghostboo had already given Karl and Sapnap one of their own; and he sent one to Quackity, Fundy, Tubbo, and Michael respectively; but he wanted to hand-deliver this one personally. "Happy Halloween!" He exclaimed with a soft smile.
"Wh-huh-?" He looked back at him before taking the pumpkin off his head. He looked down at it before giggling softly, looking up at his adoptive brother as he hugged his plushie. "Hi, Ghostboo." He chirped gently, hugging his plushie while floating up and looking back at him. "Come on, Ghostboo, let's go see what they're doing outside!" James had never really matured that much past a certain point, still just loving to play pranks and throw things at people. He floated near the ceiling and watched the people down on the floor, humming and occasionally giggling and snickering with the fellow ghost. Sapnap noticed them after a little while, beginning to try and coax them down.
Ghostboo smiled, happy to accompany the fellow ghost in his pranking endeavours, even if it risked getting their parents lightly ticked off. They were lucky that Karl and Sapnap would never raise their voice in a threatening manner towards either of them and generally had a relaxed parenting style, which meant ever the opportunity to play around and trick them. Well, not Karl at the moment, as he assumed neither him nor his brother or dad wanted to risk their breakfast burning. Ghostboo leaned down a little after watching Sapnap's attempts to coax them down, a softly mischievous smile on his face. "You should toss that at dad and then we should play peek-a-boo with him inside the walls," He suggested in a whisper, using a claw to point to the pumpkin plush James held.
"Brother! I was gonna do that anyway..." He huffed before yeeting the plush down at Sapnap, who grumbled before looking up at the ghosts. "BOYS!" He huffed angrily, James taking his plush back before phasing through his father and diving into the floor with a soft giggle. "Catch us if you can, dad!" He chirped, peeking out of the wall and floor every so often as the ghosts messed around with Sapnap. "Hey daad! I'm right here!" He chirped out, quickly laughing and hiding his way back into the wall before Sapnap could manage to grab him and pull him out of it, grinning and giggling with Ghostboo inside the wall as Sapnap groaned. "Kaarrl!! They're doing the thing again!"
Ghostboo gasped in mock horror, poking his head out the wall while he playfully glared at their dad for pulling, as he called it, such a 'dirty, street-like, unfair card'. In the ghost's defence, Karl was practically the sole head of the house despite Sapnap's rugged appearance and actions. Karl only erupted into a soft giggle in the kitchen upon hearing his fiance's complaining, humming out for a bit while whilst pouring some more batter into the waffle maker once the previous waffle had finished cooking. "If you two don't stop teasing your poor dad, he's going to break a fuse or something," Karl light-heartedly warned, keeping enough seriousness in his voice to provide a gentle reprimand, continuing on with another light-hearted warning. "...And he'll get all of your whipped cream with his waffles."
James emerged from the wall with an offended gasp, staring at the door to the kitchen. "How dare you, papa?!" He spoke as he crossed his arms, floating over to float near Ghostboo. "Can you believe the torment we go through in this house, brother?" He asked, knowing that Ghostboo was probably going to play along as Sapnap crossed his arms and smirked a bit. It only took him a second to realize that Karl had made a quote-unquote 'misinformed' statement, huffing at his fiance. "Karl! I'm a blaze, not a ruff puff!" He huffed gently, James rolling his eyes as he floated near the ground. "Our parents are dumbbbb-"
"See? He's gonna blow something, I'm telling you." Karl added on as Ghostboo contently laughed to himself, fully emerging from inside the wall while he gave James a few gentle pats atop his head. Deciding to happily play along with his brother, he scooped the other ghost up and held him above his head facing the enderman ghost hybrid, "We should riot from the clutches of such no-good parents and siege the reigns of control to bend and mould this putrid government into what we desire! Riot with me, my brethren, riot!!" He declared in a clearly dramatisized tone simply for effect, hearing Karl try to stifle a snort in the kitchen. "Boo, sweetie, save the anarchy stuff for when you go to visit Phil and Techno, and spare your poor brother the riot speech." Karl giggled out, popping the last waffle out of the iron and onto a plate sat on the table. He grabbed the syrup, fruits, and the whipped cream out the fridge, setting them all in the centre of the same table. With that, breakfast had been officially made and was ready to be devoured.
James squealed and laughed as he was picked up. "Booo! Put me downnnn!" He squirmed a bit but allowed him to carry him, relaxing in his arms as he huffed gently. "I want food, Boo!" He whined out, squirming a bit before Sapnap gently moved up and took hold of James' foot. He yanked him down gently, James taking a sharp breath before realizing that it was Sapnap and not someone trying to hurt him, looking down at his father as he set him down on the floor. "Here you go, James. Let's go ahead and join your papa in the kitchen, huh?" He smiled lightly, humming to himself as James looked up at Ghostboo. "Come on, Boo!" He called to him, floating into the kitchen and coming over to Karl. "Thanks, Papa!" He chirped happily, hugging him before going over to the chairs and sitting down on one.
