Ever since androids have taken over the world, they established several labs where they conducted research on some of the humans they captured. Of course, they gave these humans mechanical implants that prevented them from aging or needing food and water. While most of the androids were cold, they were never cruel to the humans they kept in the lab. However, one day, several androids brought in a human boy with blonde hair and blue eyes. This boy had already been slated to have his soul removed and transplanted into the body of an android to see if it was even possible to place a human soul in a mechanical body. To achieve this, the androids brought him to a machine that was specifically created to extract the souls of living creatures. They left him near the machine, fired it up and then watched as it extracted the boy’s soul and placed it into the mechanical body that had been provided. After this had been witnessed, both the unconscious human body and the android were taken away into separate rooms. Some of the other experiments performed on humans resulted in them becoming cyborgs, human-machine hybrids that were kept at the lab for further research. Sometimes, humans are also cloned and these clones are watched over by the androids that created them. Most of them are exactly identical to their original counterparts in terms of appearance but sometimes, they’ll have a minor physical difference. Each experiment is given their own room and vital checks are performed daily to make sure that the experiments are still alive. While this is stressful for some, for others, it’s rather easy. As another note, these subjects are not treated cruelly. If it has been discovered that an experiment has been physically harmed beyond what is allowed, the offending android is decommissioned.
