Charlie Slimecicle yawned as he walked into school, humming to himself and closing his eyes while pausing just in the doorway. He'd finally gotten to school on time...he sighed while walking inside, deciding to meet up with Foolish since the swim captain had offered for them to have breakfast together the day before. He hummed to himself as he held his bag close to himself, looking around to make sure XD wasn't wandering around while making sure that nobody would see him without him really knowing. He was naiive but skittish, pushing the doors to the pool deck open in order to look around. "...Foolish?" He called after a moment, gripping the straps of his bag tightly in his soft nervousness. "Are you here?"
Foolish was, for once, outside of the pool sitting on the bleachers while happily chatting away with Puffy, attempting to further dry and fluff up his damp hair with a towel as he did so. Before school morning practice was a regular thing for him, so it wasn't uncommon to find him damp for the first two classes of the day drying off. The amount of water his hair could absorb was no joke, much to his dismay anytime he tried to do it. He perked up upon hearing the recognizable voice of a friend, his emerald eyes swiftly snapping over to the pool deck doors, breaking out into a grin seeing Slimecicle. Gathering up the things he set down and bidding adieu to Puffy; thankfully already dressed and dried, aside from his hair; the swim captain jogged over to join his friend. "Heyo! Goooood morning!" Foolish chirped, evidently a happy morning person at heart, "Let's go grab some grub, I'm [i starving,]" He lightheartedly added on with a similar joyous laugh.
A soft smile spread across his face as he watched him jog over, humming to himself and adjusting the way the straps sat on his shoulders. "Was practice really that bad, mister merman?" He teased lightheartedly, having heard XD and George jokingly refer to Foolish as such since he was such a chirpy person as well as being captain of the swim team. He thought the name was hilarious, honestly, and Foolish never seemed to mind it, so he decided to use it as well. "Also, don't you have to wait like an hour before and after swimming? Or is that just something I heard from Boomer...?" He started to kinda mumble to himself as they walked, opening his backpack and grabbing a journal he had to keep information in as he drew the back of the pen down the page to where he had written that particular tidbit down.
"Practice wasn't [i that] bad, but Puffy didn't bring me any donuts this morning... I was so sad, I love her donuts..." Foolish murmured with a clearly playful sigh, continuing on after a few moments. "Though, Iiiiiiii'm pretty sure that you heard it from Boomer, yeah. He likes exaggerating the wait time to make Punz feel bad so he can get more food. It's a clever tactic, don't get me wrong, but the wait is closer to around thirty minutes [i before] swimming; after is completely free game. Or so I've been told; I don't experience those cramps personally," He gently stated with a small shrug accompanying his last sentence, happy to have an excuse to simply talk. Foolish hummed to himself as he led the two through the school to get to where the cafeteria was.
He muttered to himself while tapping his pen on the words gently, writing down the new information as an addendum before walking right into a pillar. He managed to stumble and fall on his ass, blinking in clear confusion before realizing what had happened. Slimecicle just seemed kind of confused as to how to react, standing up and picking up what little had spilled from his bag. "The pillar didn't want me to go into the cafeteria I guess!" He laughed lightly, putting his journal away in his bag while following Foolish inside with a happy hum. He knew that others would be there, and he located Quackity with his eyes quickly. Obviously, Quackity was there with his debate team, having a mild debate over what breakfast foods were best. It made a soft smile spread across the green-eyed male's face.
Foolish looked back to the other when he had bumped into a pillar, a worried frown on his face, needing to force himself not to respond much more than that. He knew Slimecicle was alright and that he reacted to things in such a manner, accepting it after a moment, albeit hesitantly. So, he offered out a hesitantly matching laugh at Slimecicle's light joke, happy he at least brushed it off well. Foolish's eyes stayed looking back at him, more for concerned reasons than anything else, following his gaze with his own pair of green orbs until he saw Quackity and his debate team. Of course, he offered them a small smile and wave when the group looked their way, though he didn't pay much more attention to them other than that. Not to be rude or anything, Foolish was just inhumanely hungry in the mornings and he needed to get food into his system, especially so after practice, rather focusing his attention on acquiring said food.
Slimecicle watched them with a smile before trotting after Foolish, getting a tray and food before humming as he paid for it. He chose a table somewhat near to HD and XD without realizing, humming a song to himself while eating and scrolling through his phone in order to find what he wanted. He was just going ahead with his drawings, using an Apple pen in order to draw more. He was humming to himself while doing so, his eyes glimmering as he set up his tablet.
Foolish grabbed a tray and filled it silly in turn, swiftly paying for it and already chowing down on his way to sit at the table Slimecicle had chosen. He did joyously grin at HD and XD when he saw the two not too far away, though stayed loyal to the friend he was with by sitting at his table. The swim captain [i did] offer for them to have breakfast together, after all, plus, he was already finding curiosity eyeing the tablet the other had pulled out. "What'cha drawin'?" Foolish asked as politely as he could while wolfing down his meal.
He glanced at him for a moment before hesitantly turning the screen to allow Foolish to see it, it being a picture of the three 'gods' of the school. Slimecicle was one of the people that had talents nobody expected of him, and this definitely counted as an unexpected talent. Everyone saw him on his tablet all the time, but nobody saw what was on the screen. It had a weird film on it that only allowed people to see what was on it when you were looking at it head-on. Slime never let people stand behind him, even if he trusted them. He watched him quietly, then looked away. "I- I know it's not a [I good] drawing of you guys but I just thought it'd be something nice to hang up or something..."
"Whoa..." Foolish muttered out suddenly breathlessly, munching down the last bite of one of his donuts as he curiously eyed the drawing. It had immediately put a smile on his face upon recognizing the three faces, one of which being his own, looking it over a few times in awe. Foolish [i could] easily draw landscapes and buildings, animals too in some cases, but he struggled to draw people, which only made it that much more impressive in his eyes. "That's really good, Slime! Are you in art club?? I'm [i confident] they'd love to have you if not. Heck, I would try to recruit you myself if I were the club's president,"
"Huh? No, no, I'm not in the art club...I wouldn't fit in there." He shook his head, smiling hesitantly at him before pulling his tablet close and continuing to draw in order to vent out his mild anxiety. "I don't fit in anywhere that Quackity doesn't. It's just how it works." He mumbled out, tracing an outline around HD's mushroom hat he loved to wear to school. His eyes glimmered softly while he did, sighing to himself before shaking his head. "I appreciate your compliments though!"
