Y/C Just moved into a new home. It was built in the 1700's, is huge, and in surprisingly great shape. What they weren't expecting was that someone (M/C) had been left behind, forgotten there for a very long time. Expect it to be slow moving as I find romantic roleplays more fun that way. Rules: 1. 16+ IRL age please. 2. Character age must be 20+ 3. Trigger warnings are appreciated 4. No S3xual content as its against site rules. 5. No godmodding (Taking control of another persons character) 6. I dislike one-liners as they don't give much to work with, please dont give me one every single reply. The occasional one liner is acceptable as we all get writers block and such every now and then. 7. I have to work and my schedule is all over the place, be patient with my replies.

This thread will be a backup :P
Here's my starting line:
Zuka had been cleaning the grand hall (First room Y/C will walk into upon entering the home) He dusted the corners and was wiping down a window when he noticed someone waling toward the door. He swiftly disappeared, or rather moved to fast for the human eye, reappearing in the shafts above the grad hall, his eyes glued o the door expectantly.
Corin Maxwell was a quiet, shy boy who was trying to find a place he could be off by himself to work on his career. He stepped into the home he had just bought, looking around the place and seeing how clean it was. He had his guitar case in his hand and he gripped it just a bit tighter, slowly walking down the hall and looking around, amazed. "Wow... It's... Wow..." He whispered, eyes slowly moving across the room as he went deeper into the halls, slowly making his way into the foyer. He felt out of place in the home, a faded blue hoodie and ripped jeans, black sneakers, and an electric guitar in its case in this elegant home... Yup, he was very out of place here.
Zuka narrowed his eyes at the human who had entered the house. He had swiftly retreated to the shafts in the ceiling, watching them with a suspicious glare. His moves were cat-like and stealthy so he doubted the human was attentive enough to spot him, though he was careful to stay out of sight as best he could.
Corin had explored a bit of the home, occasionally complimenting the cleanliness of the home or its beauty. He slowly wandered up to the master bedroom, his eyes going wide in surprise. It was giant! He mapped out each part of the room, everything he wanted to change. He then began to quietly mumble to himself, "Posters there... The guitar can go there- Actually no, right there." He pointed around the room, then sat on the bed. He smiled and fell back into it, staring up at the ceiling and smiling. He closed and eyes and huffed, sitting up again, placing his guitar beside the bed as he slowly took off his shoes, leaving them beside the guitar. He then left the room and started to look around for other rooms, he had only glanced at a few other rooms on the way to his master bedroom. "I will get [i so] lost in this place..." He mumbled, smiling.
Zuka had followed him, crawling through the shafts of the ceiling with expert skill. He watched silently, suspicious to the new human. 'That's not the house master.' He thought quietly, though the energetic excitement did remind him of the old man when he was younger.
Corin had finally found himself back in the master bedroom, a small smile on his face. He crawled into the bed and curled up under the blankets, staring up at the ceiling for a while. He had felt a bit uneasy in this new place but he assumed it was just because of its sheer size. He closed his eyes, breathing in the scent of the house and then exhaling quietly. He re-opened his eyes for just a few seconds, looking around the room for a moment then closed his eyes again... He was unable to fall asleep but he had decided if he laid silently and still for long enough he would soon fall asleep, and he had no reason to stay up and be anxious or uneasy, the house was [i his] now and there was nobody but him... He could use this place to practice his music with fewer restraints on him, no worries of annoying neighbors or people who just wouldn't appreciate the music that he did.
Zuka tilted his head, he dropped out of the ceiling shafts, silently landing a few feet away from the bed. He had decided to confront the human, Who was laying in the old master's bed, which angered him slightly. He narrowed his eyes at the male, waiting for him to notice him.
Corin laid still for a few moments before feeling that uneasy feeling again. His eyes opened just a little, then he saw a figure beside the bed. His eyes widened as he sat up quickly, realizing it was a real person. He screamed and backed away from the person, his hand slipping off the other edge of the bed and it sent him crashing to the floor. He quickly shot up to his feet, eyes locked on the male. "W-Who are you?!" He yelped out, heart racing in his chest.
Zuka flinched slightly, he hadn't expected such a reaction. He tilted his head, "Zuka." He said simply, stating his own name. He held a hand out to the human, the quicker it calmed down, the quicker he'd get answers.
Corin was panting heavily, trying to wrap his head around this as he whimpered out, "Z-Zuka? H-How did you get here? N-No, Why are you here?" He swallowed hard after this, a hand resting on his pounding heart as he leaned up against the wall behind him for support, slowly calming down from the sheer panic moments ago.
Corin stopped panting for a moment. "Live here? That must be a mistake... I just bought this place, they said nobody has lived here for [i years]!" He rubbed his forehead, groaning quietly. He was very confused and somewhat concerned why there was a questionable-looking male in his home, on the other side of his bed no less.
"1765?" He laughed, a smirk on his face. "Oh!~ I get it, your a cosplayer! Right? That explains your odd outfit and formal attitude!" He smiled, rubbing his forehead again. "Uhm, Let's see... It's about 2022 now, and your Master is probably dead. I suggest you leave my home before I call the police, since that's a thing in this common age." He said calmly, smirking.
Zuka looked very confused by his behavior. "What's a cosplayer, and How do you plan on yelling for authorities when your inside of a mansion?" His red eyes lit up, though dimly as he was simply confused.
"Oh jeez..." He rubbed his forehead again, becoming slightly agitated. "Listen, Zuka. It was fun while it lasted, but I mean it. If you don't go, I am calling the police." He pulled his phone out of his pocket, pressing his thumb to it and unlocking it. He quickly swiped over and onto his Phone app, his fingers resting over the Emergency Call button.
He growled, "A phone, dumbass. I already told you, get out!" His finger pressed against the first number, a soft noise coming from his phone. He was becoming more serious, annoyed by the fact Zuka wouldn't leave. He could never really understand cosplayers, not knowing how they could embody someone else so well... He didn't care much for them now, especially if they were all like this.
Zuka growled at the insult, noting the humans change in mood. "And what does this 'phone' do?" He asked, narrowing his eyes. The insulting seriousness of the human set him off slightly, but as the butler and keeper of the mansion it was his job to investigate the newcomer.
He scoffed, becoming slightly concerned why the male wouldn't drop the act already. "Countless things and one of them is calling the police!" He was fairly hesitant to press the second number, his eyes glancing away from Zuka for just a second. He then clutched the phone tighter and his eyes locked with Zuka's. [i His eyes... Are they red? Possibly glowing even...] He shook the thoughts away, grumbling lowly. "Just get out now and I won't file any reports..." He spoke lowly, his eyes closed and his head lowered, his anger beginning to subside. He was never one to stay angry for long, even if he wanted to.
Zuka tilted his head, "It yells for the Authorities?" He asked, raising his eyebrows, he was genuinely curious. "But its just a little... Box? It doesn't have a mouth." He said, looking back up to Tristan, confusion easily readable in his eyes.
He took a long, slow inhale then an annoyed exhale. "The 'Authorities' have phones too, my phone just..." he was struggling to piece the words together. "It just... The police just... It has more power than you'll ever understand." He bit back a laugh after saying that, glancing away again. Truth be told, he had an old phone that hardly worked anymore. He could only call and text on it at this point, and even then it was pretty questionable. That would probably be the highest compliment this phone has ever gotten and probably will ever get.
"Yeah. It's linked to hundreds of phones!" He pressed the third button and rested his thumb over the call button. He took a small breath, inching back again as he noticed you looking at his phone. All he really needed to do would be lock it and then Zuka couldn't do anything, but he felt like he wanted to call the police. This male was giving off a weird vibe he couldn't explain, it made him anxious. "I mean it... I will call them if you don't go! Don't test me either, I will do it!" He threatened, eyes narrowing a little to look more confident and serious than he was.
Zuka shrugged, taking a step forward and pointing at the phone, "So this small box can 'talk' to other small boxes... even if they aren't in the same room?" He narrowed his eyes, ignoring the threatening attempt from the human.
"Yes! Now back up!" He snarled, his hand trembling a little. He was heavily tempted to call and he felt like he might even do it by accident, but then again what could Zuka do to him? He pressed the button and raised the phone to his ear. He swallowed hard as he heard the operator on the other side of the phone. He glared at Zuka as he spoke clearly and with ease, "Yes, Hello? I am reporting a trespasser... His name is Zuka, he-" Corin began.
Zuka gave a low dangerous growl, "Your 'police' cant do anything. I'm not trespassing, I live here. And they couldn't touch or restrain me if they wanted to." He said, narrowing his eyes at the human. He was rather contained and patient, though this human was starting to get annoying with their small box and antics.
Corin winced a little as Zuka spoke and growled. [i "Hello? Sir? What's the address? We will send somebody over to your location."] The female operator spoke through some thick static. "U-Uh, The address? I-I don't know. I just got here." His eyes locked onto Zuka as the woman sighed and said, [i "Well, Is there anything you can do to explain what your home looks like?"] Corin stammered, "I-I-It's-"
"A mansion, built in the 1700's, a few years back. Concealed by a Hedge that's well groomed." Zuka finished for the human, looking bored. The outside actually wasn't well kept as Zuka hadn't been outside of the yard for hundreds of years, only the building and inside looked clean and well kept.
"F-Few years? That's centuries ago!" He yelped back to the male as the woman sighed and said, [i "Alright...We know what you are speaking of. We'll send somebody over in a moment, just hang tight and don't speak to the trespasser. Can you tell if he has any weapons?"] Corin swallowed hard, "N-No, I don't think so..."
"I don't, not any I wasn't born with." He said simply, easily overhearing the woman on the small box, "I'll have to warn you, if you send your authorities in here, one of two things will happen. Either they wont find me, or only a few of them will leave." His growl was low, mysterious as he eyed Corin.
Corin swallowed hard again as he glanced away in fear. [i "Sir? Are you alright? Are you still there?"] His breath hitched in his throat as he opened his mouth to speak, no sound coming out. He took a few breaths and then whispered lowly, "Yeah... I'm fine." He stared at Zuka, an undetectable aura coming from him. He didn't know if he was getting aggressive or not, which made him nervous.
He sniffled quietly, hoping the police would get here quicker. What could one boy do to multiple officers with weapons? He fidgeted nervously, swallowing hard as he muttered quietly, "W-When will the police be here...?" The woman responded, [i "In a minute or so. Just stay calm, Sir."] He closed his eyes and let out a shaky breath, nodding silently,
Zuka narrowed his eyes, "Do I scare you?" He asked, looking at the human. His red eyes unwavering and hard to read. His arms hung limply at his sides, his clawed hands resting partially in his pockets.
"N-No! I-" He shut up, turning his head away as he huffed quietly, faintly beginning to hear sirens. He heard multiple sirens now, all loudly blaring in front of his house. He let out a breath of relief, his eyes darting to the doors as he prepared himself to start screaming for the police. He knew they would be able to hear him, he was a very loud screamer... That was another reason he had to move out of his apartment a week ago.
Zuka turned to the door, he eyed Corin after looking over his shoulder at him. "..." He gave a low growl, his fangs glinting slightly in the artificial lighting. He didn't understand the sirens, or the sound of humans coming closer.
He saw something gleam beside him, then he glanced over. He saw fangs in Zuka's mouth, but he told himself it was just a part of his cosplay. He took a small breath in as he heard heavy footsteps coming into the building. He pressed his lips together for a moment, a soft, scared noise escaping his throat as he quickly broke into a scream. It was a loud, vocal scream that echoed through the halls. He closed his eyes tightly and he clenched his fists. He heard the footsteps getting louder as he finally stopped screaming to breathe.
Zuka flinched, he hadn't expected the scream. All the noise confusing him even more. A few moments later he was gone, an empty space where Zuka once stood. He had actually fled into the ceiling shafts, crawling to a darker corner of the room, his red eyes glaring down at the scene below.
Corin glanced over to where Zuka had been, expecting to see the male. He paled a little bit when he realized he was gone. In seconds the door burst open and three officers came into the room, all locking eyes with Corin.
Corin was in such shock and fear he collapsed onto his knees, staring blankly at the spot Zuka had been in as the officers slowly got closer to him, their guns aimed at him. Corin swallowed hard, his eyes slowly falling on the officers, "H-He... He- He was right there...! I'm not crazy, I just saw him!"
Zuka looked between the 'police' and Zuka, a low growl erupting from him. He eyed their guns, confusion in his eyes. 'What are those..?' He thought curiously, though he noted how the authorities held them out threateningly, as if they were some kind of defense. Or maybe offense?
[b "Raise your hands above your head!"] One of the officers yelled to Corin. Corin shivered a little as he whimpered, "I-I didn't do anything! He was right t-there!" He pointed to the spot again and the officers repeated their orders, inching closer to Corin as the front officer rested his finger on the trigger of his gun, his eyes narrowing. Corin began to sniffle and whimper again, "I-I didn't do anything! He-"
Corin's eyes were still wide as Zuka appeared again. He was so scared and confused he didn't even notice himself beginning to cry as one of the officers stumbled back in shock, the other two getting tenser. [b "Hands above your head or I'll shoot!"] the front officer demanded as Corin began to inch away from everybody, trembling and crying silently.
Zuka narrowed his eyes, "Try me. Get the hell out off this premises." He snarled, anger bubbling through his tone. He pulled his hands out of his pockets, though didnt raise them, refusing to follow the loud humans orders.
The officer didn't hesitate to shoot this time. Corin heard the loud noise and screamed, closing his eyes tightly as tears thickly rolled down his face and dripped onto his hoodie. He was shaking intensely now as large, shaky breaths were escaping him. He swallowed thickly, almost too scared to open his eyes... He didn't want to see the male, Zuka, dead on the floor... but he hadn't heard him hit the floor yet.
Zuka flinched slightly, pain dully throbbing in all directions from the wound. "One more time? Maybe you wont miss." He said with a low growl. He didn't know what these weapons were, but they clearly were meant to hurt humans.
The officer stumbled back a little, eyes wide as he stared at Zuka. Corin opened his eyes just a little as he spotted Zuka and the officers. The officer raised his gun up again at Zuka, trembling as he aimed for the chest this time. Corin swallowed thickly, tears still dripping from his face heavily. The officer was hesitating to shoot again as the other two officers began to raise their guns as well, one of them reaching to their chest to call for backup if it seemed to be needed.
Zuka narrowed his eyes, "Three strikes. Then I kill either of the three of you. Whoever cant get out quick enough." He didn't make a move to attack, his growls dangerous and loud. "You've hit strike one." He said warningly.
