Kuro yawned softly as he stretched, sighing in relaxation before realizing that he was being watched. He groaned at the feeling, turning his head around a bit in order to try and figure out who was watching him. Was it Pride, was it Envy..? He sighed lightly before humming softly. "I can feel your eyes, you know." He spoke out easily, standing there casually with his hands shoved in his pockets as his eyes glimmered with annoyance. "I don't want any trouble, I just want to relax." He grumbled out, crossing his arms and sighing softly as he closed his eyes in his quiet annoyance. "What a drag..."
Lily let out a mockingly disappointed pout and sigh, knowing his tiny, harmless game was over due to the fact he got caught. Fluttering around from behind a corner and coming over as his butterfly self, he landed peacefully on Kuro's shoulder, quietly pouting and huffing up a miniature storm. With a soft 'poof' and swirl of smoke, Lily turned into his usual form, his arms crossed gently with a defeated expression on his face. "Geez, you always assume that we all [i want] to fight, I don't like it. What's the harm in me watching my older brother? I don't see any; I just wanted to make sure you were doing alright." He stated with a quiet huff, mock-disapproving of the fact he got caught silently watching.
"Ugh...yareyare daze, you're so annoying, all of you..." The catlike vampire grumbled as he looked up at his little brother. "And you can't really blame me, Snow Lily, considering what our youngest brother is doing. It's pretty boring." He yawned softly, then let himself poof into his cat form as he trotted off. "Besides, it's annoying to have to keep an eye on you idiots all the time. Especially you, what's with your thing of stripping whenever you want? We're not kids anymore." His ear flicked softly in annoyance at his brother, his tail swishing as he rolled onto his sides and back gently. Kuro really didn't care much for why his brother did what he did, but he knew that he had to ask about it, if just to make sure that his brother was...okay. Greed had been hard enough to deal with, him and his dumb Eve, and he'd rather not deal with Lust being the same way.
"I do whatever my heart so desires, just as you like to lay around and snack all day; it's what comes with being the sin of Lust, I suppose." Lily softly explained with an amused smile and light laugh, crouching down to where his brother, now turned cat, laid and gently pet at his head a few times. "Where's Mahiru? I'm assuming he's nearby considering we can't get too far away from our Eves... How has he been?" The butterflylike vampire asked, smiling a touch more genuine and sweeter, staying where he was crouched as he proceeded to ramble off a little bit. "Misono's in one of the stores nearby, though he never told me what he was doing... Maybe they're talking! That's a sweet thought. They've become good friends; it makes me happy to see Misono has a friend for once."
"Why am I supposed to care where my Eve is? What a pain.." He softly complained, letting his head be pet by his brother as he sighed. "They're probably planning another dumb attack against Tsubaki or something. I hope Mahiru gets me sushi." He mumbled to himself, momentarily forgetting his brother's existence before climbing up onto the other's shoulders. "I think you're the only one of us who isn't suited for combat. Kinda annoying if you ask me, but I'd rather sleep than fight most of the time. Too much work." He grumbled softly, his tail slowly swishing as he closed his eyes and yawned. "And you've gotten attached to your Eve, Lily, you sound more like a proud father than anything else." He sounded extremely sarcastic and kind of annoyed as his ear flicked again.
"He values a good portion of the same things I do rather than the Eves' I've had in the past, and I [i am] proud to see him growing so much as of lately; I can see why you'd say that." He stated with a gentle hum, rising back to his feet after giving Kuro one more pat to his fluffy head. "You, on the other hand, aren't attached enough to your Eve. You of all people should know how dangerous not being close to your Eve can be; and Mahiru is one of the kindest Eve's you've had as of yet! You both have almost gotten injured as a result of your lack of closeness, need I remind you. At this rate, you two will make me bedridden from how worried sick I am!" Lily softly exclaimed, concern as clear as moonlight in his voice as he worriedly eyed his older brother.
"uUuughhhhh don't staaaaaaaarrt, Snow Lilyyyyy..." The cat groaned out as he limped on his brother's shoulder, closing his eyes before sighing. "I don't wanna go through the trouble." He grumbled to himself as he closed his eyes and sighed, kneading at his brother's shoulder quietly. "It's sooo muuuch wooooorkkkk..." He whined to himself as he flopped his head onto his shoulder, his tail swishing softly before he curled further around the other's neck. "...But I'm trying to figure out what's going onn....I don't want to make you 'bedridden' or whatever." He mumbled out, his tail twitching softly as he licked his brother's cheek in a gentle move of affection. It wasn't often he showed these to people, even with his siblings, but it was a clear sign he was in a mildly good mood when he did.
"I'm happy to hear you still have [i some] motivation left to try and resolve the issue rather than letting it get any worse," Lily commented in a half-sarcastic tone, keeping his words as genuine as he could despite the light sarcasm. "I'm always here if you need advice; I might not be too good for fighting, but I [i am] the best out of us Servamps when it comes down to bonds and matters of the heart," He softly went on, taking slow step after slow step around the area as he spoke, eventually sliding inside the store that both of their Eves were inside, eyeing the place. "You could start with giving him a gift you think he'd like; it doesn't take too much effort either, which I know you just [i love.]"
He rolled his eyes quietly, grumbling to himself before hopping off of Lily's shoulder. Kuro was a human again, walking around the store and quietly looking down at the store's inventory with disdain. "There's nothing to do with my heart, Lily. It's just a contract. We're not that close, and I'm sure we'll stay this way for a while. What a draaaag..." He groaned, then grabbed something off of the shelf and examined it. A matryoshka doll...he smiled softly at the lionlike pattern on it, humming softly. "I could repaint this to look like me..." He mumbled out, looking at how many layers it was and mumbling to himself about how much paint he'd need and how much, altogether, it would cost.
Lily softly sighed and shook his head, trotting a little closer before poofing back into a butterfly, fluttering directly in front of Kuro's face. "You can say whatever you want, but you didn't put in the tiniest bit of effort to [i cancel] the contract, so it leads me to believe you don't mind him. Hell, I might even go as far to claim you [i like] him," The butterfly vampire huffed out, softly gliding down to land on the doll his older brother was holding, looking it over while crawling around it. "Ooo, this is nice actually. I think close to anyone would enjoy this; basic, simple, but considerate. It's almost like you're [i trying] to steal my thunder."
Another eyeroll was earned from the cat vampire, gently taking his brother off of the doll and putting him on his ear with a soft tsk. "You must've already been bedridden with how much nonsense you're talking, Lily. Are you sure you haven't been drinking too much blood or screwing too many people?" He grumbled lightly before picking up some paints and paintbrushes, paying for them with some yen he'd stolen from a human before going to stand behind a shelf. He'd sniffed out his Eve, and he narrowed his eyes as he watched the two Eves speaking. Mahiru seemed very happy to speak with the other, laughing and smiling as he helped pick out groceries.
"If that's the case, you must've played one too many crappy mobile games and got all your real-life experiences through a screen." The butterfly was hasty to sarcastically respond, his wings softly shifting and folding in on themselves as he mock-sunbathed, keeping a solid yet gentle grip on Kuro to stay clinging to him. His shifting softly game to a cease upon seeing both of their Eves seemingly having a nice chat together, tugging a small smile to his insect face. He was happy to see that Misono was doing just find with the help of his new friend, relaxing just a touch at the sight. Misono visibly seemed to do the same in turn, as if they both were sharing the same wavelength. "Weren't you complaining earlier about me watching you, and now you're watching them? Seems a little hypocritical if you ask me," Lily lightly teased, folding and opening his wings a few more times comfortably.
"Shut up, they could probably hear you." He grumbled to himself as he gripped onto the shelf, Mahiru picking up a box of sushi before looking at Misono. "Do you think Lily and Kuro would like to share this? I mean, they're brothers, so they'd share stuff, right?" He tilted his head curiously, Kuro letting out an audible snort before ducking behind the shelf and quietly pulling his hood up. It hid his hair, Mahiru looking over to where he'd heard the sound before sighing and shaking his head. "Kuro was right, I am paranoid..." He mumbled out, putting the large sushi tray into the cart as he went back to talking with Misono. Kuro seemed to just keep watching them, waiting for them to pass before taking his hood off and calming down slowly. "Jeez, that would've been a pain to get caught..."
"Caught?..." Lily asked quitely, his voice laced with confusion, spreading his wings out before hopping off of Kuro in order to circle back around and land back on him again, finding it easier to do that than to merely walk around with six legs. "We wouldn't get in trouble, you know, they brought us with them. I mean, yeah, [i sure we were told to stay outside the store], but they wouldn't be angry with us for coming inside. Or, well, Misono wouldn't be mad at us, it takes too much energy from him to be mad anyway. I can't say the same about us and Mahiru though, I don't know him well enough..." He muttered with a sigh, his antennae and wings promptly drooping.
"I'd rather not get caught inside the store anyway, Lily. Come on, let's go ahead and leave so I can start on whatever this's gonna be." He held up the doll. He then trotted out of the store and set his brother on a flower, sighing to himself before plopping on the ground and pulling the paints out. Strangely enough, he felt he had enough energy for this, and began to paint over the factory-made patterns with the paint he'd gotten. He seemed to be oddly focused on this, mumbling to himself. It was a story he used to tell the other Servamps to help them sleep, seemed like he was using it to pass the time. Once the Eves were done, they emerged together, Mahiru chuckling lightly as he ruffled at Misono's hair. "Come on, Misono-san! Lighten up!"
Lily contently sat on the flower he was set upon, taking the opportunity to take a sip from the little bits of nectar that remained and the flower kept producing, staying otherwise perfectly silent and happy while listening to his elder brother's quiet mumbles; or, what he could hear of them at least. He perked up when he heard Mahiru and Misono walk out of the store, though made no effort to move from where he laid on the flower, his wings fluttering in satisfaction. Misono was jokingly upset, shoving his hands into his pockets as he walked alongside Mahiru, being careful not to physically overexert himself to save stamina, just in case things went south. He never knew, and he liked playing it safe, especially since he had a proper friend now. "I came all the way out here for specific stationery, and they didn't even have [i any]. I don't see how I could possibly 'lighten up!'" He lightly whined, handing his head in mock-defeat despite the fact he was already half-smiling.
"I'll help you find it later, Misono-san!" Mahiru offered as he smiled at him, Kuro not rising from his position on the ground as he continued to paint the matryoshka doll he'd gotten. His eyes glimmered with his mild focus on the doll, Mahiru glancing over at the cat vampire before petting his head. "Hey Kuro, what're you doing?" He asked lightly, the vampire pausing before shrugging and lightly grumbling to himself. "Shush." Was all he said to his Eve, who raised an eyebrow at him in slight confusion. "Kuro?" He asked quietly, the catlike vampire pausing before groaning lightly. "I'm trying to do something hereeeee." He grumbled to himself, then put the doll down to look up at his Eve. "Can I help you?"
