A bamboo forest was always one of Leon's favourite places in the world, hell, it was his earliest memory, and he was easily able to get lost inside one. Ironically, that was quite literally his current situation, having wandered a little [i too] far in one without a clear way to return to familiar land. Not that he cared, though, he got lost in them all the time and they were overly comfortable to be inside. Plus, they provided a means of an excuse to stay further away from Yao and all his nagging and nitpicking he put Leon through. Continuing with his theme of not giving two fucks about where the hell he was, Leon climbed his way up a sturdy stalk of bamboo; they were surprisingly easy to climb, given you knew how to do so; and merely chilled for a bit while up in the air, smiling fondly down at a mother panda and her pups as they strolled past. They seemed to recognize him; perhaps they were some of the pandas he befriended? He never could tell, Leon had befriended many pandas but seeing their friendly faces prompted him to hop down from the bamboo stalk and greet them properly. The mother panda nuzzled at him for a moment before slowly walking off while looking back at him, as if asking Leon to follow. That he did, quietly following the mother and two pups even if he had little to no idea where she was leading him.
Honda was merely walking through a bamboo forest when a few pandas had walked up to him and begun to gently nuzzle at him, and while he didn't usually like pandas since they were associated with Yao, he listened to their soft nuzzling. Following them, his eyes fell onto Leon as he blinked. "Oh. Kon'nichiwa, Leon-sama, it's nice to see you." He greeted kindly, putting his hands behind his back as he smiled gently at him. He truly didn't know why he liked to call Leon with such honorifics, but he forced him to pay attention to the other. He hummed as he looked down to the ground, a panda shoving their head under his hand as he chuckled softly. "The pandas brought you here?" He asked then, looking up at the other male as he petted the panda gently.
Leon himself blinked a few times, a little surprised to hear someone's voice other than Yao's in a bamboo forest, but by no means was he about to complain. He tucked his hands into his sleeves and politely bowed with a smile; at least he remembered [i something] about the manners Yao drilled into his head. "Ni hao, xiānshēng-Honda, it's nice to see you as well." Leon returned the greeting, standing upright soon after and unfolding his arms to gently pick up one of the two younger, almost baby pandas that walked by their feet. It yipped out at being held, possibly from surprise, but seemed more than content to be held otherwise. "Yes, actually, the pandas brought me here; I befriended the mother a while ago, it's nice to see she has a family of her own and is doing well." He softly explained, looking to the mother of the cubs, smiling a little more at how happy she seemed to be pet, looking back to the other soon after. "I'm surprised to see you here, though. Last I checked, don't you normally stray away from places associated with Yao?... Oh, you must be on a trip to visit with one of the other countries, I don't normally see you in-land otherwise." Leon stated, quietly assuming the reasonings behind Honda being there.
"Well, that's partially why. But I also like bamboo forests, even if they are mostly associated with him. The pandas are cute too I suppose." He spoke gently, then glanced at him for a moment. "What're you doing here, Leon-sama? I know you don't exactly [i enjoy] Yao's company, but he usually hangs around you anyway. Did you manage to shake him off for once?" He spoke with a mildly surprised tone, sitting and letting the panda lay her head on his lap as he petted her head further. Pandas may smell kinda bad, but their fur was ungodly levels of soft, and he always loved it when he got to pet things like them. He sighed after a moment, looking down at the panda as he remembered all the blood that had to be shed for his independence. Him and Yao had never gotten along, and when they fought over the smaller country breaking away, it was a very bad fight.
"I, uhm... [i Yes.]" Leon answered hesitantly after a moment, looking down to the side in an attempt to mask his light embarrassment at the fact he had actually been separated from Yao due to the fact he got lost. To make matters worse, the awful mix between an English accent he picked up from Arthur and the accent those who natively spoke Mandarin had; geez, out of all the things known to Hong Kong, it had to be [i that] horrible accent? Leon lightly shook his head, stuffing his uncharacteristic embarrassment down his throat for the time being while he shifted on the balls of his feet, slightly rocking the panda back and forth as if it were a baby he was comforting, though he was bringing more comfort to himself than the panda if he were being honest. "Oh, but... Speaking of Yao, knowing him [i all too well], he'd probably be out here, lurking around some corner snooping around to find me... Fuck, I can only imagine the argument if he were to find the two of us chatting..." Leon started, prying his eyes away from the baby panda to look back to Honda, attempting to make his next suggestion as wholehearted as possible. After all, he [i really] didn't want to risk them both running into Yao while standing in a bamboo forest the Chinese man searched through almost religiously. "Want to go somewhere I know for a fact he won't bother visiting? They make pretty good jiaozi and herbal tea, and that's coming from me." He offered with a small, genuine smile, albeit a little awkward and nervous. Hey, he never interacted much with the major countries of the world aside from Yao, so cut him some slack.
Honda looked up at him again, then hummed lightly as he closed his eyes, thinking to himself and stroking the panda's head as he sighed softly. "That would be nice..." He whispered to himself, then gently pushed the panda off and trotting up to him as he smiled gently. "Let's go, then?" He asked, holding a hand out to him as he tilted his head in slight confusion. He wanted so badly to help him avoid Yao, and he tensed as he heard the sounds of Yao distantly calling for Leon. "Let's go...[i n o w.]" He warned out, pushing him forwards a bit in order to encourage him to get going. Honda didn't want them to get caught.
Leon tensed hearing Yao's voice, gently set the panda he was holding down swiftly after. He didn't need to be told twice, or even once for that fact, gently grabbing the hand offered to him before speedily skittering through the bamboo thicket with Honda. Thankfully, unlike before when he was lost, Leon could roughly pinpoint where they were, and before long he was back in familiar territory, soon leading Honda through a calm yet bustling city just to the side of the bamboo forest. Leon slowed his pace down to a walk once they were on the streets, looking back to him with an awkward smile as he let go of his hand. "Sorry xiānshēng-Honda, it's easier to [i run] from Yao than it is to [i hide] most often, and trust me, he knows how to sniff me out if I try to hide..." He apologized quietly, continuing to lead the two through the streets of the city until they came upon a small but well-kept traditional restaurant, which had more than its fair share of European influence and architectural remodelling inside. It was homey and cozy nonetheless, at least to Leon it was, and he quietly walked over and sat down at one of the booths, motioning for Honda to sit with him if he so pleased.
"Don't apologize, Leon-sama, it's alright. I'd rather not get caught by Yao anyways.." Honda smiled hesitantly before sitting down in the booth with him, humming to himself and playing with the sleeves of his pristine white coat. He shrugged it off after a moment, however, and lightly sighed as he brushed a bit of his hair behind his ear. It was a bit warm outside, but warmer still in the building. He appreciated that, he supposed, and placed his chin on his hand as his eyes roved over the crowd in the restaurant. It was a bit sparse, and he sighed before looking over at Leon. "So...How have things been with you?" He asked gently, fully planning on offering his support with whatever Leon was having issues with. He felt he owed him that much.
"How have things been with me?" Leon repeated, raising a brow as if he were surprised; and he was, to some degree, considering the world powers never batted an eye about what he went through, spare for the obsessive Yao and the ex-conqueror Arthur, though, truth be told, he didn't fondly like either of them. Ah, the childhood traumas of being stolen away from your only family by some weird British pirate fellow who eventually taught you English and Westernized you. It wasn't a title many held, and Leon held it shamefully. Shaking his head free from those thoughts, he folded his arms together on the table and rested his head upon them, "Oh, everything's as good as it can be at the moment, I suppose. I'm still throwing riots left and right any and every chance I get, that much hasn't changed. How about you?"
"Everything's been alright with me. I've been mostly spending time by myself, writing, drawing, that sort of thing. It's a wonder how nobody's truly bothered me today. If I weren't so grateful, I'd be suspicious of what someone's planning." He chuckled lightheartedly, then sighed as he ran his hands through his hair. "It's been tiring, though. Especially since...well..." He sighed again as he looked away, closing his eyes and swallowing down his slight annoyance. "Somebody tried to invade me. I took them down, but that was a bit annoying." He grumbled lightly, running his hand down to fix his own hair and quietly humming to himself.
"Whoa, somebody was stupid enough to try and invade [i you?] Of all the possible places to invade, [i you??] I almost don't believe it..." Leon muttered out with a mystified and astonished expression on his face, surprised by the fact somebody would dare enough to go against a world power such as the country of Japan, especially so since Honda was fiercely protective over his lands and known all too well to be merciless on the battlefield. Though, Leon did know a few people stupid enough to think they could beat such a power, much to his dismay, so he silently hoped it wasn't one of his friends to have done such a thing. Leon lifted his head up, pausing a moment before looking over at one of the workers serving food, quietly staring them down until he had their attention. When he did, he silently signed in Mandarin, watching them scurry off into the back once he gave them an order; it wasn't what you'd expect in such a unique restaurant, but it was what Leon preferred, never being one huge with interacting with waiters or staff of any place really. As a result, also, it reduced his chances of Yao finding him, which was always welcomed in his eyes. "I hope matcha is still one of your favourite teas, otherwise you can always have mine if you prefer black teas nowadays." Leon offered out, suggesting the nature of his silent interaction with the worker as he rested his head in his arms once more, humming contently for a second.
Honda nodded and rolled his eyes, humming to himself and gently sighing as he relaxed a bit. Once they'd gotten their tea, there was a bunch of gentle talking they could go through. Peter seemed to remember who had killed him, crying softly on Arthur as he stuck his tongue out softly. "It was him..." He whimpered softly, sniffling and looking up at him. "I was trying so hard, papa..." He whined out, then hid his face. Fortunately, it was easy to find Honda, and he flinched as he stood up and held his sword.
Leon quietly stayed seated, raising a brow up at the other holding his sword as he sipped at his tea for a few seconds longer. He followed his line of sight, tensing up a little at the sight of Arthur, and his son nonetheless. Well, fuck, there's the other ''parental'' figure he didn't wish to see, and he seemed hellishly pissed to top it off. Not seeing a need to involve himself and risk getting into any trouble whatsoever, Leon silently scooted to the side of the booth closest to the wall, pretending to have not noticed as Arthur approached, though he kept his eyes keenly on Honda and Peter, just in case he needed to drag the Japanese man out of the store if a fight were to happen or if Arthur and Honda got too heated in argument, then he could escort Peter out; such a small kid didn't need to go through such suffering, in his eyes. While Leon sipped his tea in uncomfortable silence, Arthur [i furiously] stormed his way over. Out of all the people to have hurt his son, [i of course] it had to be Kiku, the one east asian country he did quite well with! He was enraged, and rightfully so in his opinion, silently motioning for Peter to stay put for his own safety as he glared Honda down, grumbling with a scowl fresh on his face. "You [i bloody bastard,] why didn't I expect from you? You never change; never have, never will; and maybe it's past due time for a change of your leadership." Arthur hissed out in displeasure, his fingers lightly twitching with a fury to grab [i some] sort of weapon, though he folded his arms over one another for the time being. Perhaps a little logic and sensible discussion could work rather than jumping straight into fighting, or, that's what Arthur's tiniest bit of hope had him believe.
“Well, I’m sorry for defending [i m y] lands, England!” Honda snapped back, gripping his sword tighter as Peter held his arms close to himself. He’d only meant to tell his father that so that he could have some closure, he’d never meant for this to happen. He sighed and looked away, moving outside and just watching them as Honda narrowed his eyes with a soft growl. “It was your son’s fault for trying to invade my sacred lands, Arthur Kirkland, it was no fault of mine.” He growled out, gripping his hands in fists.
With another second of awkward staring at the wall, Leon silently and fluidly slid out of the booth, taking his glass of tea with him as he headed for the door. Nope, he wasn't going to bother listening to it, too awkward and tense for his forte. He gave Honda a polite sign in Mandarin before exiting the shop, signing ''願龍之心與你同在, 注意安全'' with his left hand with a polite bow of his head as he left, finding Peter nearby and watching over him for the time being. One, to prevent him from being kidnapped; the larger cities sometimes had that unsavoury reputation; and two, to keep him hidden away from Yao; he could only imagine what sort of ''payback'' he'd get from keeping Peter to himself like Arthur kept Leon, so he'd much rather avoid that at all costs available. Arthur's scowl and glare only progressively grew worse, his grip on his arms tightening up, though he refused to draw weapons quite yet. "Need I remind you how protective I am over my son, Kiku? Need I make you of all people an example so the other countries of the world know not to mess with [i my boy,] much like Alfred did when you foolishly chose to attack his precious island state of Hawaii?" He coldly threatened, not hesitating for a moment to reference the counterattack bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in an attempt to really get under the Japanese man's skin much as Honda seemed to already have gotten under his.
[願龍之心與你同在, 注意安全 = may the heart of the dragon be with you in battle, stay safe]
He pulled out his sword, pointing it at Arthur as he bared his teeth. "How dare you." He snarled out as he gripped his sword tightly. Peter looked up as he gasped softly, covering his mouth a bit before closing his eyes and gently whining as he hugged himself. He wanted so badly to stop them, but he knew that he probably couldn't. He sighed as he hugged his knees, Honda's eyes narrowing at Arthur as he gripped the handle of his sword. "I was protecting my land from invaders in both situations. You know as well as I that we didn't need to fight, but he bombed my land."
"You may call them invaders, Kiku, and they very well might be in your eyes, but the rest of the world calls [i you] the invader. Last I checked, that means one-hundred ninty-four against [i one.] And Alfred might've bombed your land, but that was well after [i you] bombed [i his] first, or did you somehow magically forget the bombing of Pearl Harbor? [i I even bet you did!] My, my, that must be rather convenient, isn't it?" Arthur growled sarcastically, vaguely unthreatened by a sword being pointed at him, instead unfolding his arms to swiftly pull out a pistol; it was a gift from Alfred too, ironically enough; pointing it squarely at the other's head once he ensured it was still loaded. Did he care it had a technical advantage over a sword and thus gave him an ''unfair'' advantage? Hell no; when did Arthur ever care about playing by the rules? Leon looked between the two inside the shop and Peter as he peered through the glass, letting out a quiet sigh as he approached the kid and motioned for him to stop watching. It was the least he could do, considering that technically he was his brother? Arthur was a father figure, so that made Peter his brother of sorts? Leon didn't know and frankly didn't care enough to mentally figure it out right about now, instead trying to spare the boy from pain he didn't need to watch or go through. "It's best to not watch, trust me on that... They're both vigorous fighters, and you really don't want to learn that by watching this..." He muttered out quietly, taking a sip of his warm tea once again before peering through the glass himself, almost seeming to frown at the sight.
Honda narrowed his eyes before grabbing Arthur and pulling him close as his eyes glowed aggressively. "I'd watch your tone if I were you. I wouldn't want to kill you in front of your own son, who, may I remind you, tried to invade me [i u n p r o v o k e d.]" He snarled out, Peter hugging himself tightly as he listened to them. He then stood up and quietly walked off, not wanting to listen to this any more than he already had, sniffling and covering his mouth a bit as the adults decided to fight. Honda sounded angry at this point, snarling at Arthur and seeming about ready to cut him into little strips.
Arthur stood unphased by the hostility that only escalated, if anything, it added more fuel to his fire. "It must be your lucky day because I'm less than two seconds away from doing the same, [i Honda.]" He snarled in return as one last warning; one more proper growling tale of caution, filled with as much venom and hatred he could fill into it, which was a huge red flag for the other country who stood by and watched. Deciding against letting a genuine fight break out in his own homeland, and his favourite restaurant nonetheless, Leon soundlessly and trepidly walked over to where the two stood face to face, mentally sighing to himself. He had to swiftly create some sort of distraction; to have a good escape, you needed one, after all; but the only thing he had with him was a mere cup of hot tea... Which, incidentally, worked perfectly for this situation if used correctly. Okay, maybe he could thank Yao for a few things he learned from him. Leon raised his glass and splashed it in Arthur's face, taking the moment the Englishman was blinded to grab Honda's hand and scurry out of the cozy restaurant with him back into the busy streets of his city. "Are you [i trying] to get yourself killed?" He whisper-asked, leading Honda through the sea of people to try and get further away from Arthur. Fun, now he had to be on the lookout for both Yao [i and] Arthur; whatever, he thought with another mental sigh.
Honda seemed a bit out of it since he was slightly dissociating from reality, using it to calm down as Peter returned after a moment of not hearing any fighting from the restaurant. He sighed and reached up for Arthur, tugging on his sleeve. "Papa, please don't go after Honda anymore, he doesn't deserve to get hurt because of my mistakes." He gently hugged onto him as he squeezed his eyes shut. "I'm here, I'm alive, isn't that what matters?" He mumbled out in an attempt to get Arthur to calm down. Even now he was trying to be a peacemaker, even after Honda had threatened his father.
Arthur was not an easy one to calm down, much less an easy one to consol, especially so when tea had been splashed into his face, making everything it touched turn sticky and sickly damp. He wiped the sweetly liquid off his face in an attempt to [i see] again, grumbling under his breath while he did so. "I suppose so, but he's a bloody fuckin' bastard nonetheless, so I won't make any promises." Leon silently grew worried at the lack of response he was provided, continuing to lead him around until he came to one of the few quiet, less crowded grassy and flowery parks, gently having the both of them take a seat at a bench. "Hey," He called out, reaching a hand over to gently boop Honda's nose, followed by a bombardment of complimenting terms in an attempt to gain his attention. "Hey, hey, hey, handsome, dapper fella, sexy, hotstuff, good-lookin', pretty boy, gonna answer me anytime soon?"
Honda stirred out of his dissociation after a moment, looking up at him as he gently flushed at the compliments. “Huh…? Oh..” He cleared his throat before shaking his head and trying his best to snap out of his dissociative state, looking up at him once again. “I’m sorry, what’s going on?” He asked, not exactly sure why they’re in a park now but not complaining.
"Well, you and the English cocksucker got into an argument that got a little [i too] heated, so I splashed tea in his face and ran like the wind with you to get away, aaaaand we ended up here." Leon explained, making a few gestures with his hands to ''reenact'' the events, humming contently to himself after he had finished his dramatic show of hands; at least he knew how to act fairly decently and put on a show. He leaned a little over the bench, resting his head in his hand as he used his other one to continue to boop Honda's nose, sticking his tongue out slightly to hint at the fact he enjoyed doing so.
He let out a gentle sneeze before shifting softly as he looked down at him in slight confusion. “What are you doing?” He asked as he stared at him softly, tilting his head and just seeming to be a bit confused by the affection he was being shown.
"Hoarding all of your attention to myself by booping your nose and thus confusing you," Leon answered self-importantly with a likewise small huff, still poking his nose lightly as if he were a cat pawing at somebody. "It seems to help you focus on the here-and-now," He added on, humming out as he dropped said hand that was booping to rest his head on both his arms, smiling up at Honda.
Honda shook his head in slight confusion, then moved closer to him as he reached out and put his arms around him after a moment. "Of course you want all of my attention." He hummed gently, booping at Leon's nose before nuzzling him gently. He didn't want to make him uncomfortable, but at the same time, he wanted to cuddle with him, so...he was cuddling him. He sighed softly as he laid his head on his shoulder, being quiet for a bit with him as he closed his eyes and relaxed silently.
Leon quietly hummed out a Mandarin song to fill time, such a song being something that typically welcomed for non-native speakers of the language to hear, but he had evidently grown plenty comfortable with Honda if he was willing to let him hear it; not that Honda knew it was a well-kept hidden secret song, though, as he probably didn't. He seemed relaxed by the end of the tune, his eyes closed comfortably and a loose smile on his face. For once, he seemed content to [i not] speak or say a word, instead giving him a gentle nuzzle, evidently happy with their newfound closeness; not that it confirmed any of his feelings... Cause it [i definitely] didn't... Or so he tried to tell himself.
Honda let out a gentle hum as he snuggled with him, smiling softly before sighing as he stroked his hair gently. "Aren't you affectionate today?" He teased softly, kissing his cheek before humming softly. "I need to go to the bathroom, alright?" He then set him aside, standing up and gripping onto his own wrist as he walked off to the bathroom. He looked down at his wrist and stared, glancing down at the floor before shrugging his jacket off and placing it down on the counter. He pulled the little knife that he carried around regardless of whether or not he had his sword on him out of his jacket, testing the sharpness of the blade as he looked down at it. The silence could be a bit worrying, but he just began to hum as he drew it across his arms over and over. He did feel guilty for hurting Peter so, but he felt he needed to defend himself. The blood dripped into the sink, Honda being silent as tears fell down his cheeks. It hurt, but the sense of control made him feel a bit better. He sniffled a bit as he set the blade down so that the blood on it could drip into the sink, beginning to wash out his wounds and pulling the long sleeves that could zip onto his short-sleeved shirt out of his jacket. He zipped them on and silently hummed, washing his knife off and putting it back before leaving the bathroom.
Leon stayed seated in the spot he was set aside like an obedient dog would wait for its owner, fiddling with the loose, open sleeves of his changshan, a happy, slightly flustered smile on his face while he did so. He had got a cheek kiss! Even if, in retrospect, it wasn't much, it still made him very happy considering he liked Honda, and that only provided him with a pure serotonin boost. Leon looked back up from his sleeves when he heard someone walking closer, smiling a little further at the sight of Honda. That smile was short-lasted though, swapping over into a slightly worried expression as the other walked closer. "You look a little red'n teary-eyed... Is the pollen from the flowers bothering you? I can show you somewhere else if it's a bother, I know allergies aren't fun to deal with..." Leon muttered, having put two and two together and giving it his best guess. He himself had a light allergy; [i stupid horses]; which only made his concern a little worse.
"I was, um...trying to handle my emotions, I'm sorry." Honda smiled lightly at him before sitting with him, putting his arms around him and nuzzling his cheek. "I'm okay now, it's not your fault." He hummed out, kissing his cheek again as he shifted softly. He was trying his best not to continue to cry, since it hurt so badly to move his arms like he was. Luckily this shirt wasn't very good at absorbing things, hopefully he wouldn't notice the odd smell of blood on Honda...he internally cursed himself about not using the perfume he knew he had, instead he simply'd left the room. [i 'Good gods, Honda, you need to keep that in mind for next time.'] He thought to himself, his eyes darkening a little bit without him realizing how easily he'd fallen into his thoughts.
Leon hummed out in acknowledgement, easily believing what he had been told as he had no reason to disbelieve him for any reason. He was more than content to resume nuzzling and cuddling up to Honda, as a matter of fact, humming out the same tune as before in a blissful tone while he closed his eyes, merely enjoying their silent time together. Until his nose processed the scent of something oddly metallic, that was. Leon's humming fell short as he opened his eyes up, quietly looking around for what could possibly be the source of such a smell, but nothing and nobody was around that could remotely smell so metallic... [i Aside from blood.] Leon's stomach churned a little; Honda was the only person nearby as far as he could see, let alone smell, so was it safe to assume it was him, because it sure as hell wasn't himself. Arthur hadn't hurt Honda either so that wasn't an option, Leon knew that well considering he watched the whole argument. So, with a newfound neutral face, he grabbed at the ends of Honda's sleeves, giving them a gentle tug as an attempt to, one, vaguely reference he had his suspicions Honda had hurt himself, and two, quietly ask if he could investigate said suspicions further. He didn't want to do anything that would make him feel uncomfortable, but [i damn] did he want to simply invade his privacy and investigate to confirm, or hopefully disprove, his suspicions.
A sharp breath was drawn out of the Japanese man in his surprise, pulling his arms away and quietly glancing away from him. Leon wasn't usually one to investigate things like that, and he was a bit taken by surprise as he lightly wrung his hands. Honda didn't like the idea of Leon finding out the bad habit he had, and he cursed himself internally for a moment before quietly sighing. He said nothing, just sat there and kind of thought for a moment, sorting through his thoughts to decide what to tell Leon. What [i could] he say?
Leon silently observed for a few moments, processing the reaction he was shown as his lips turned downwards into a soft yet disapproving frown. He didn't try to grab at Honda's sleeves again, preferring to invade his privacy for the sake of sparing whatever comfortability he might have left, resing his head in on his arms atop the table of the parkbench. "So..." Leon started out, quietly and softly, keeping his gaze on the other as he continued. "Did you disinfect and bandage 'em at the very least?" He asked, deciding against prying too much into it. It was none of his business as to why Honda did what he did, but he would more than happily encourage healthier habits from here on out, starting first with sanitization of wounds and cuts.
"I don't have any on me, but I did make sure they were clean." Was all he responded with as he hummed gently, holding his arms close to him as if he was trying to protect something with them. After a moment, he glanced down at him before sighing softly, shaking his head. "I'm sorry." He hummed softly, hugging one of his knees and looking down to the ground as he closed his eyes with a soft sigh. He didn't...know what he was apologizing for, but he knew that he felt bad for whatever was troubling Leon. He wiped his eyes a bit and covered them with his arm for a moment.
"You don't have to apologize to me, xiānshēng-Honda," Leon gently offered out, drumming his fingers loosely against the surface of the bench for a few moments before shifting where he sat and standing up. He held out his hand as a friendly offer but he trepidly pulled it back to himself upon remembering theoretically how much pain Honda could be in from however many cuts littered his arms, and he would rather avoid putting him through any further unnecessary pain. "I- come on, I can properly bandage you back at my place. I'm sure you'd feel more comfortable there than out here in the open anyways," Leon explained, internally and visually cringing at how painfully English accented his sentence had come out as; he couldn't help it, it was hard to keep a fluid accent when you have the mix of two polar opposites. With a quiet sigh, he folded his hands into his sleeves and motioned for Honda to follow him, leaving Honda without much of an option to say no as he quietly walked off.
The Japanese man quietly followed after him as he kept his eyes to the ground, holding his jacket in his arms as he sighed. He'd realized that he felt bad, and he sighed softly before taking Leon's hand. As much as it hurt to move his arms, he knew that it would hurt more if he didn't get them cleaned and bandaged. He sighed and closed his eyes, shaking his head softly while holding onto him as he wandered along. "I'm sorry, I don't know why I do that." He spoke honestly, part of him wished he wouldn't do that, but the feeling of control and the feeling that he deserved such pain for what he'd done was very strong.
Leon let out another hum of acknowledgement, not providing much else of a response to try to quietly encourage him to stop apologizing for things, especially the things Honda couldn't exactly control. He quietly led them through the city to the nicer, slightly less crowded half, stepping inside one of the various skyscraper-eske buildings, and soon after an elevator. Traditional homes were typically what the other countries had; if he could even be considered a proper country; but Leon much preferred his beloved modern flats. Plus, the view he had from his floor was jaw-droppingly gorgeous, and something he personally enjoyed without fail. Leon opened the door to the flat once they arrived, gesturing for Honda to take a seat whever he so wished while he slipped away to grab bandages and proper disinfectant pads.
