Zombies have roamed the world for years now. Only the strongest survive anymore. Groups of survivors ban up sometimes, but they are few and far between. What ill come of our survivors when they run across each other by surprise?
Mitzu turned toward the direction of the scream 'That's not a zombie... To.. alive.' He thought as he pricked his ears. In the moment he had looked away, two zombies had closed in on him. He turned with a snarl and swung the sword, beheading both in one swing, but not before suffering a minor wound. He turned and ran toward the tree. Once he arrived, without hesitation, he jumped, his sword impaling the zombie as he landed. With an annoyed growl, he looked up from the zombie carcass, surprised to see another survivor. "Uh.... you ok?" He pricked his ears, awaiting the answer.
Mitzu's ear flicked with curiosity. "Ah.. o-ok. Sorry about the scare." He scratched the back of his head awkwardly as he doesnt get to talk to other survivors often. "Uh.. what were you doing? Like near here..? If you dont mind my asking?" He dropped his arm, returning his gaze to the frightened Glimmer.
Mitzu sighed, he tilted his head, "You clearly need a place to stay for the night, and some first aid.." He flicked his ear patiently and pulled her into his chest, holding her carefully in one arm, before picking his sword back up with his other hand. He turned to begin walking back toward his hideout and what he calls a temporary home.
Mitzu got up and offered her a bowl of food. It wasn't exactly the most beautiful meal, but it was edible and would give her some strength. "You look like you haven't eaten in days.." He said gruffly, rather tired from the previous experiences.
Mitzu nodded in agreement. "Yeah that is true.." he flicked his ear after sitting back down to wait patiently for her to finish. Her being here, on top of her current condition intrigued him and he wanted to know more.
Mitzu yawned and had noticed her tiredness as well, he decided to wait until a better time to ask questions. "We should get to sleep, Morning is far off.." He pushed the notion forward and his tone left no room for argument, though he didn't expect one.
Mitzu grunted satisfied before laying on his back on the ground by the smoldering remains of the fire. He yawned and eventually fell into a dreamless sleep, Morning not far off. (Sorry haha my schedule is all over the place))
Mitzu was still asleep, after the ordeal yesterday and then staying up later than usual, he was exhausted by the time he finally fell asleep. He gave a soft snore and shifted in his sleep slightly after hearing her, but didn't wake up.
Mitzu grunted as he woke up, feeling eyes on him. He sat up slowly and looked at her "Ah, youre up." He said gruffly, sleep still invading his voice. He rubbed his face with one hand, in a feeble attempt to chase it away.
Mitzu nodded, "Dont mention it. Not enough survivors are left in these parts anymore. Much less friendly ones." He gave a large yawn then tilted his head at her, "What's your name, by the way? If you dont mind my asking."
"I'm Mitzu, here.." He leaned over, out stretching his arm and grabbing a hollowed out container, he tossed it onto the bed beside her and the contents inside made a slushy sound as it landed. "Its water, there's a stream a little ways away, got it a few days ago."
Mitzu scratched his chin thoughtfully, "Hmm, i dont know.. Guess as far back as I can remember, I've moved from place to place, just arrived i the area a few months back." his tail tapped the ground once as he hought.
Mitzu dropped his hand and looked at her, "So, how have you managed to survive the undead? Do you use any specific weapons?" He flicked his ear curiously. It never took long for others to figure out that, though he's a hyena, he acts much like the dog-type people, it's probably just a canine thing.
"Huh." Mitzu tilted his head, "Well, guess you're just lucky." He laughed, rather amused as his tail wagged. After pulling himself together, he gave a satisfied grin, "I didn't realize being a survivor was this lonely until you came along.." He tail stilled and his ears drooped slightly, but he still smiled at her.
glimmer nods looking into his eyes her eyes sparkling slightly "y-yeah i was all alone for weeks.... just hiding and trying to survive having nothing to keep myself from getting hurt a-and then i saw you"
Mitzu nodded, "Oh, I guess that makes sense." He tilted his head and looked at her face, surprise sneaking onto his as he noticed the cut from the previous day. "Oh right, how could I forget!" He stood up and walked to the other end of the cave, grabbing a small red box that had been sitting against the wall.
Mitzu nodded, his tail again wagging slightly, "Dont mention it, just sit still a minute." He said, after walking over and crouching before opening the box.
Mitzu pulled out a small cotton-like thing and some alcohol. After pouring it on the cotton, he reached forward, wiping the blood and bit of dirt that was around the cut. He tilted his head, tossing the cotton in a container nearby that he used for trash and pulled a bandage out of the box. He took the wrapper off, put some ointment on it, and gently stuck it to her face, covering the cut.
"There, now it wont get infected, and should heal sooner." He smiled, throwing the bandage wrapping away before closing the box and standing up.
Glimmer would smile softly “you have been so kind” tearing up slightly at knowing that she wouldn’t be alone anymore tears would start to stream down her face and she would cover her face with her hands
