Tommy was just wandering around, sneaking around Las Nevadas and going through people's trash for shiny things he could steal, when he remembered that he hadn't brought anything to Purpled in a while. So he grabbed the shiny thing he'd been admiring and trotted out of the nation, heading to Purpled's new home as he opened the door and closed it behind him. He slowly approached the alien's room, slowly reaching up for the doorknob before grabbing it and slowly opening it. He let out a raccoon noise to let Purpled know he was coming in, making his way inside and closing the door behind him. He looked around for the alien before letting out another, more curious raccoon noise. It took him a moment to shake himself out of the raccoon mindset, but he managed English after a moment. "Purpled? Are you here?" He called softly, holding the gift he had for his friend in his hands as he fidgeted.
Purpled had been couped up in his room, sitting neatly on his bed as he silently cleaned his antennae and blonde hair free from any small grains of sand that were bugging out the two feelers propped up atop his head. The mercenary had spent most of the early day outside, pitching in a bit for Las Nevadas by helping Foolish with his builds. He slightly jolted in surprise when Tommy had entered, accidentally yoinking his antennae in the process. "Tom-? Ow, ow, ow, owww," He quietly hissed, swiftly rubbing the miniature limb he pulled, it taking him a second to dull the pain with gentle pressure he applied. "Tommy? Can I... Help you? What're you doing here?" Purpled asked after a moment, sitting up a little bit while he watched the raccoon curiously with both pairs of his eyes.
Tommy happily came over to him and took Purpled's hand, pressing the small item into his hands with a happy trill. "I found this for you." He chirred out happily, his bushy tail swishing in excitement as he stared at him a little bit. The raccoon seemed very proud of himself, frankly, as if he'd spent all day going through the trouble of finding this for him. Which he sort of did, he'd spent a good while just searching through people's trash in order to find the perfect shiny thing. It just wasn't for Purpled until he remembered that his friend hadn't been seen in a while, so he'd wanted to bring him something shiny. Shiny things made the raccoon happy, so why shouldn't he? It could mean pets, or even better, cuddles, if Purpled so chose. It made him excited, honestly, and he was trying not to lean in in his excitement.
Purpled paused, two eyes looking down at the shiny object in his hands as his brows raised up, his other two eyes still staring at Tommy. "Uhm, that's a little random, even for you, but thank you...?" He quietly said, looking over the small item and turning it over a few times as he examined it closely. The alien sat silent as he looked it over a few times, his antennae flopping down to fall against his head, physically relaxing himself after a moment. Purpled looked up from the object and gently set it down to the side, a slight smile on his face; hey, who was he to deny the fact he felt touched that Tommy had decided to put in the effort to bring an extraterrestrial foreigner such a gift? He scooted over a little to make more room on his bed before patting the space next to him, inviting the raccoon to join him on top of it. Providing Tommy with a place to sit was the least he could do in return, and it sounded reasonable enough to his outsider self; maybe he could sneak a few pets as well, and groom Tommy's tail. It looked about as sandy as his hair had been earlier, and he rather enjoyed simply petting the raccoon, so he'd keep his hopes up, just in case he could.
Tommy watched him scoot aside, scurrying up onto the bed and curling up with soft, happy trills escaping him. He loved it when he could cuddle up with Purpled, he was amazing at getting the sand and grit out of his hair and tail, and was really good at petting him. He looked up at him with a soft hum, curling up slowly as he kept letting out soft trills. The noises must sound weird to Purpled, but they were somehow cute, like Purpled's staticky purring. His little tail wiggled slightly as he closed his eyes, placing his tail over his nose and just letting himself be comfortable next to the alien. They'd been friends for a while, and it made him happy to be able to do this, even if he'd never outwardly admit it. His smaller body shifted softly as he stayed comfortable there, sucking up to him as much as possible, even gently kneading at the sides of his legs like a cat.
Purpled sighed out contently while he reached forwards and gently getting to work removing essentially every grain of sand or otherwise dirty impurity hidden inside Tommy's fur and hair. Grooming had become a quick force of habit he had picked up since he arrived at the SMP, and one he had come to adore as well. He might not have any fur, just a head of hair and two antennae, but Tommy never seemed to mind anytime Purpled sat down and took the time to clean his coat of fur. It made him happy, earning the alien to smile and slightly purr in his staticky voice as he went through the tail he gently held. Once he was finished softly cleaning the other's fur of grime, he smiled in satisfaction with himself, before raising his hand up to start petting Tommy's head.
Tommy always had trouble with cleaning himself off, especially his animal parts like his tail and ears, but Purpled's help was always appreciated by the raccoon. His ears flicked a little bit when Purpled began to pet him, happily sighing and closing his eyes again as he shifted closer to give him more access. He let out little chirps and trills in his happiness, his pride making him want to flinch away but his happiness completely overriding that as he let his tail swish. "You like the shiny thing I found? I was going through people's trash in Las Nevadas and found it for you." He chirped in excitement, his tail swishing as he wiggled softly. Tommy wanted to tackle him and cuddle up with him, but he dared not in case Purpled didn't like that. He never wanted to make the alien uncomfortable.
"You... Went through the *trash* to find me it?" Purpled asked as he raised up a brow while speaking. It was an intriguing idea to him to dig through what people no longer wanted in search of something somebody else might like, and, considering he was still unaccustomed to the native way of life, he didn't exactly know what cleanliness was or what was sanitary, so he didn't complain. If anything, he found it thoughtful, earning Tommy a few more gentle rubs from the alien. "I do like it though, yes, thank you for gifting it to me. I don't know what it *is* exactly, but it's shiny and pretty," The alien mercenary spoke through his mask, doing his best to smile with his eyes since his physical smile couldn't exactly be seen.
"...Yeah? Something wrong with that?" He raised an eyebrow at him as he opened an eye to stare up at him, tilting his head in confusion before letting out another chirr in happiness. He playfully swished his tail before it gently smacked Purpled in the face, flinching a bit before catching his mask and holding it against Purpled's face. He seemed to be slightly panicked, having never seen what exactly was under Purpled's mask and not wanting to unless Purpled wanted to show him. "Sorry..." He mumbled softly before glancing away, seeming slightly uncomfortable with the situation.
Purpled let out what could be assumed to be a surprise blurp of seemingly gibberish that was his native tongue; an extremely unnatural and almost demonic sounding language to the average person; swiftly scrambling to readjust his mask back to his face. He didn't want to lose the one thing that truly let him communicate with the other people on the planet they were at. It wasn't as if though he didn't like how he looked; if anything, he found himself rather dashing, proving the fact he had the occasional bit of ego; but he certainly did have trust issues when it came to letting people hear his genuine voice- his *genuine* language- especially so since he couldn't naturally speak English and was harshly judged for speaking when he first arrived. Hence his all-mighty and fancy mask. The alien let out an equivalent to a nervous chuckle after he fixed his mask back to his face, "It's alright, it, uh, happens from time to time; you don't need to apologize..." He spoke after an awkward moment of pause, looking back down to the shiny object Tommy had brought him and twiddling it loosely in his hands.
Tommy tried his best not to freeze in fear at the new language, looking down and trying his best to stay calm as he cleared his throat. "I don't want to leave..." He hummed out nervously before looking up at him, clearly meaning it as his tail softly twitched. He hated it when he was forced to leave when there was conflict, he just wanted to help sometimes. He slowly moved to drape across his lap, quietly closing his eyes and ignoring any protests the alien could let out. He wanted to cuddle with his friend, so he was going to cuddle with his friend, damn it.
Purpled blinked a few times, staring down at Tommy with both sets of eyes that seemed to squint in slight confusion for a moment. He did little to nothing about the fact the raccoon was laid across his lap, if anything he didn't particularly care enough to change it, only seeing it as an opportunity to sneak more pets in and possibly play with his hair. "I never said you had to leave..." He muttered out quietly in response, the entire sentence spoken in a mimick of Ranboo's voice since he had gained a mildly larger vocabulary and new voice recordings from the enderman hybrid. Purpled's voice swapped over to a chaotic mix of the other members of Las Nevadas soon after, though; one thing he made sure of was that he never copied someone's voice in front of them, especially so Tommy. He didn't know why, but he found it a little embarrassing whenever he copied the raccoon's voice in general. He didn't have an answer as to why, though, considering he didn't exactly have much of a "human" index of emotions, so he couldn't understand them all that well. "You know you're welcome here, I don't know why you'd think you'd have to leave."
He let out a soft hum before looking up at him, his tail flicking softly. He seemed slightly confused about why the other's voice had changed, much less to the ender male's, but he gently moved circles around Purpled's waist for a little bit like a cat. He was looking for the best and most comfortable spot, slowly curling up in his lap and curling up in his little raccoon form. His bushy tail covered his face as he chirred out, merely allowing Purpled to pet him as he began to fall asleep slowly.
Purped, doing as was expected of him, sat still, continuing to gently pet at Tommy's fur, though he was otherwise motionless. He eyed him as he fell asleep in his lap, letting out a quiet sigh. Well, he supposed he didn't need his mask for a while, considering Tommy's naps were usually pretty heavy and lasted for a few hours, so he carefully removed it with his free hand and set it aside. Purpled, being Purpled, then quietly; ever so quietly; called for DogChamp in his native tongue, smiling a little when the dog entered the room and hopped atop the bed as he instructed. Hey, nothing was wrong with wanting a fluffy cuddle party after all, right? Besides, he had his two closest friends now, at the least he was a very happy alien in that moment.
The raccoon definitely had cues for when he was beginning to wake up, so Purpled would have time to readjust his mask. He shifted on Purpled's lap a bit, but didn't wake up, instead just letting out sleepy noises as he sighed heavily. DogChamp seemed slightly confused about the new fluffy thing on Purpled's lap, looking up at him for a moment before nosing at Tommy slowly. It made the little raccoon shift again, letting out a soft trill in complaint but remaining calm for the moment. It just made the dog huff, setting his head next to Purpled's lap as if feeling salty that he couldn't lay on Purpled instead. However, his tail wagged softly as he got his own pets, happily panting.
