Oliver shifted and ran a hand through his hair as he yawned, leaning back from his experiment and sighing quietly. "Mmmnn...should probably go on break..." He mumbled before standing up, stretching against a wall and then walking out of his office. His eyes were hidden behind his glasses for a moment, and he gently adjusted them before walking up to his boss's office. Aidan. The first man to truly steal his heart. He felt slightly annoyed by that fact, but happily leaned into it after a while. He knocked on the door before walking in, clearing his throat. "Aidan? Hello!" He hummed out as he closed the door behind him, coming over and smiling at him with a soft hum. "I'm on break. How're things with you?" He tilted his head at the other man, adjusting his glasses to make sure they wouldn't fall...too far.
Aidan had been working away at various documents, ranging from spending reports to small, little office request permissions, looking up from his mountain of paperwork the second Oliver walked in. He seemed to smile behind his mask, but one couldn't be too sure as almost literally all of his face was hidden away either by his mask, his sunglasses, or the fluff known as his hair. "Ah, hello Oli!! I'm doing fine, just sorting through some paperwork and doing some task filing. You know, same ol', same ol'," He answered truthfully and honestly without hesitation, sounding oddly happy while talking about such a thing. Truth being, he was just happy Oliver decided to pay him a visit. "I might plan for a meeting later though, Angelo keeps bugging me about my siblings wanting to arrange something soon... Though that's not important. Anyways! How are you? Are you doing okay?"
He smiled happily as he looked at Aidan, wandering over and deciding to just...nuzzle his cheek gently through the mask happily. "I'm glad you're doing alright. I just wanted to come and check on you while I'm taking a break from my experiment. You know how it is." He hummed out as he moved and wrapped his arms around his boss gently in a big hug, closing his eyes and placing his head onto the taller man's shoulders. He still didn't know *how* his boss got to be so damned tall, but it made him happy to cuddle with him. Aidan was *warm* too, both in personality and in body temperature, so he loved cuddling up to his boss while listening to him talk about his day. Yeah, he was in love. Very much. He knew it and happily embraced it.
Aidan hummed contently as he set the papers he held down into an open folder, closing said folder up soon after, it neatly labelled as ''Foreign Affairs''. He didn't pay *any* mind nor attention to his work the microsecond Oliver cuddled up to him, his focus seemingly instantly snapping over to the scientist and the scientist alone. The CEO smiled further from beneath his mask, affectionately returning the nuzzles he had received and gently wrapping his arms around the other. "Geez, if I knew you'd be paying a visit earlier, I would have cleared my schedule wide open Oli. Talk about making visits last minute," He softly teased with a small, happy laugh.
"You know me, I'm always full of surprises." Oliver teased back as he giggled quietly, adjusting his glasses before simply pulling them off. He always did this when they cuddled, always claiming he "didn't need them to see how pretty you are" to Aidan. Which he didn't, he knew that Aidan was soul-bleedingly gorgeous under that mask and those sunglasses, but he never pushed to see under them since he knew that Aidan had issues about it. Well, except for kisses. Speaking of, he needed his daily fill, so...Oliver gently tapped his lips with a soft huff, looking up at him while slowly sticking his tongue out. "Kisses. I demand them."
Aidan only continued to softly laugh, rolling his eyes, "Yessir, oooof course sir; as you so wish." He continued to lightly tease, glancing over at his office door to make sure it was shut and that the blinds were closed before playfully reluctantly obliging to Oliver's requests. He raised his gloved hands up, using one to pull down his mask and the other to simply take off his sunglasses, evidently more comfortable doing the latter of the two with the way he carelessly set them aside for the time being. Aidan didn't need to be told of his demands twice, swiftly pressing a kiss to his lips soon after he tugged his mask down and took his sunglasses off, smiling and humming contently into the kiss.
Oliver sighed happily as he returned the kiss, reaching his hand up and holding Aidan into the kiss for a little while before separating it. It made him smile, the fact that Aidan both trusted and loved him enough to do this for him. He sighed softly as he leaned into him, gently placing two fingers on his lips and feeling where he'd been kissed, smiling happily. "Mmm...yay~" He giggled softly as he remained close to him, then looked up at Aidan before sticking his tongue out gently. "You still give good kisses, you know. I don't know why you ever doubt yourself, sunny." He hummed out, using one of his favorite nicknames for Aidan just because he knew exactly how much it made Aidan flustered. It made him laugh whenever he could get that much flusteredness out of the CEO.
Aidan instantaneously rolled his eyes and pried his amber eyes away to almost shyly look elsewhere, but he kept his mask off, not hiding his soft blush this time around. The CEO still had no idea where Oliver even came up with such a nickname for him, nor his reasoning behind such a seemingly random choice, but he silently adored it with all his heart. While he couldn't explain why he liked it so much, it just seemed like it fit perfectly. "Yeah, yeah, I know *you* dunno why, but I've got a couple of reasons behind it..." Aidan murmured quietly, attempting to politely respond despite his mildly flustered state. Imagine getting flustered over a simple and innocent nickname; that was his reality, but hey, who was he to complain when he liked it? He wasn't Angelo, after all.
Oliver let out a soft laugh before leaning in and snuggling into Aidan's neck, hugging him gently. "Awwhhh! You're so cute, sunny~!" He let out happy giggles as he sighed happily, purring to himself as he sighed happily. Oh, how he loved him...ohh, how he loved this man, so so so much...it made him so happy as he looked up at him with a soft smile. "You're so pretty." He hummed out with a soft happy sigh, closing his eyes as he hummed gently. All he could do was smile at Aidan.
"Clearly you need to put on your glasses again and purchase yourself a mirror if you're calling *me* of all people pretty," Aidan playfully retorted with another roll of his eyes, letting out a small laugh in response. He leaned down ever so slightly, pressing a few kisses to Oliver's forehead, cheeks; anywhere he could, really; before finally pulling his mask back over his face, a-okay with not wearing his sunglasses at the moment. He then pulled out his phone, opened the camera, flipped it over to selfie mode and then offered it to the scientist, "See? You're utterly adorable,"
Oliver looked at himself for a moment before looking up at Aidan, staring at him for a moment. "I look like a skinny scientist, just a nerd. You're absolutely gorgeous." The scientist was absolutely ready to fight his case, narrowing his eyes at Aidan after a moment before kissing his cheek through his mask. "You're pretty, end of discussion." He spoke determinedly, holding onto Aidan's phone before slowly holding up a peace sign and taking a picture of himself, then setting it as Aidan's phone background. Just to mess with him. He covered his mouth and giggled softly as he placed it on the desk, grinning to himself. "Heheh!"
Aidan rolled his eyes for the third time since the beginning of Oliver's unexpected visit, letting out a playfully defeated sigh. "Yessir, *yessir*, I understand, 'm pretty." He said with a laugh, throwing in a surrendering bow to add to his playful approach to the situation. He loved playing as if Oliver were in charge, and he was in charge in some sense since he was the owner of his heart. Plus, the secret yandere would more than happily give him whatever he so wished if it made him happy; that was just how Aidan always was. "Thank you for the new background, *sir*,"
Oliver stuck his tongue out as he grinned softly, reaching up to ruffle out Aidan's hair. "You're amazing." He giggled quietly before holding Aidan's cheeks gently, looking up at him and gently sticking his tongue out. "I'm glad you chose me, Aidan..." He whispered out as he used his thumbs to lightly move Aidan's mask down just enough to kiss him again, making sure that he blocked the view to Aidan's face since he knew that Aidan had issues with people seeing his face. It was just how things worked. Oliver was fine with it as long as Aidan knew that he was loved and taken care of, and always tried his best to make sure that that happened.
Aidan let out a quick, content and satisfied sigh, briefly returning the kiss before pulling away because- well, his mask. He always tried to make such kisses quick, especially at their workplace or out and about in public. The only time he let his guard down was at his place, and *his* place alone, just ''to play it safe'' as he always said. Aidan tugged the fabric back up soon after, smiling behind it, "Ah, what can I say? The chemistry doesn't lie," He commented as a light science-y joke, fully anticipating for the scientist to cringe.
