Ranboo hummed a slight tune to himself as he hung around Tubbo as he has always done, his eyes that were painted over with heterochromia watching his every move. Though, this was rather tame as he was, for once in his fictive life, calm. That little fact could change easily, however, so Tubbo needed to be very careful if he didn't want the enderman hybrid to resume his wacky tendencies. For the time being, Ranboo pawed at him like a cat asking for attention, his tail flicking just like a felines' would too. "Hey, hey, hey hey hey,"
Tubbo sighed as he ran his hand through his hair, letting out the softest of groans before looking down at him with a soft sigh. "What is it, Ranboo?" He asked quietly, sitting up and beginning to play with and pet Ranboo's hair sweetly. He liked having Ranboo around, it made sure that it was easy to forget that his friend was ever gone. He then nuzzled him with a soft trill, looking down at him with a soft smile before reaching down and taking Ranboo's hand into his own. He wanted to see the beans, and began to softly run his finger in circles around a couple of them with a soft hum. "Mmm..."
Ranboo turned both of his hands so that his palms were facing upwards, observing his own beans for a second. He never really understood why people liked them, maybe it had to do with the fact they were squishy or were a muted spotted pink that stood out against his skin, but hey, they were another thing he could use to his advantage if he used them correctly. Nonetheless, he flopped onto his belly and tilted his head to look up at Tubbo, letting him play with his paw pads. "I wanna be a cannibal. I want super stuffed oreos, and I want 'em now," He stated with a quiet huff.
"I don't have oreos right now, genderman." Tubbo mumbled out as he quietly squished the beans, flopping his face into Ranboo's paw with a happy, muffled giggle. Oh, how he loved Ranboo's paws, oh how he loved them. It made him so happy, his eyes closed as he pressed the beans up into his face slightly. It reminded him of the old times he had with his friend, his tail twitching slightly before he sighed out in happiness before looking at Ranboo. "But I can go get some if you promise not to irk me in public." He hummed out, crossing his arms as he let go of him and leaned back on the couch.
Ranboo paused as he continued to stare up at Tubbo, his facial expression falling flat. Well, mostly flat except for one thing: his pupils dilating with sheer joy at the offer he heard. The hybrid's tail swished around happily as he swiftly nodded a few times, excited by the prospect of getting oreos to "be a cannibal" as he liked to loosely say. "I promise! I promise!" Ranboo chirped eagerly as he shifted to sit up once more instead of laying flat out on his belly. "Erhm- well, I moooostly promise," He corrected for safe measure, knowing himself.
He chuckled before standing up and stretching, yawning softly as he wandered over to his bedroom. "I'm gonna change first, put on some trousers, you know?" He hummed before closing the door and changing into a binder, a tank top, pants, socks and combat boots. He fluffed out his hair as he smiled, yawning before coming out of the room and closing the door casually. His eyes glowed softly as he looked at Ranboo, grinning softly as he offered a hand out to him. "Come on, let's go get you some oreos, you weird genderman." He chuckled softly as his tiny tail wiggled gently.
Ranboo scrambled to his feet quickly after further perking up, taking the hand that was offered to him into his own as his tail whipped around excitedly behind him. "Yeeeesss, yES! Give me oreos!! Or give me gender!!!" He proclaimed with a cackle of a playfully evil laugh, putting his own twist on the famous saying of "Give me Liberty or Give me Death".
Tubbo rolled his eyes a bit before kissing Ranboo's hand, humming to himself before walking out of his house and walking to the store casually. I mean, he thought Ranboo would try and knock something over, but he forgot that Ranboo didn't have any control over anything in the real world. What Tubbo could touch, Ranboo couldn't, and vice versa. The only thing that they could both touch was each other, which often resulted in cuddles if Tubbo went feral, since he really tried his best to not attack Ranboo.
Ranboo hummed a contented tune to himself, more than joyously walking with Tubbo to the store with a hop, skip, and a jump. He behaved himself rather well, usually off the charts with either energy or chaotic choices, be it an action or something he said. Oreos seemed to be a key to getting him to mind himself, which was a good thing for Tubbo to note if he ever wanted Ranboo to suddenly behave. His tail flicked once they entered the store, "Can we get potatoes and chicken too? Roast potatoes and chicken sound good for lunch and or dinner, just sayin'."
"Noted." Tubbo hummed out as he walked into the store, pushing the doors open and quickly going into it. He hummed to himself as he grabbed a basket, beginning to softly grab the things he needed. He then set them into his basket with his continued humming, walking into the aisle with the candy and motioning to the oreos. "Here, see? You want these?" He asked quietly, picking up a packet and raising an eyebrow at him while quietly sighing.
"Yes, yes, yes, I very much do want my fellow black-and-white kind," Ranboo nodded furiously a few times, letting his tail wag happily like a dog would, attempting to reach over and swipe the packet from Tubbo. He stopped himself, however, for two reasons. One, he couldn't touch material things unless they were also metaphysical, and two, Tubbo still had to pay for them so he couldn't just start eating the oreos regardless. He figured he could theoretically wait until they were finished with their shopping to eat them, not wanting to risk Tubbo punishing him with a lack of oreos.
Tubbo let out a soft chuckle before putting the oreos into his basket, then walking over to grab a bit of candy for himself. He then placed it into the cart and walking over to the cash registers and placing his purchases down onto it in order to make them, his eyes softly glimmering with boredom as he sighed softly. It took him until they got halfway home to breathe fully, slowly walking into his house and putting the groceries away before slumping into the couch with a soft groan. "Fuckk...ugh, my head hurts..." He groaned, then sighed as he let out a soft growl. "Rrrrghh..."
Ranboo loyally followed Tubbo around until they got home, swiftly grabbing his beloved package of oreos; the metaphysical package, of course; and tore into it, eating away at the cream and cookies happily. He eyed Tubbo when the fellow hybrid plopped down onto the couch and groaned, moving over to sit down and join him on the couch. "Are you okay?" He asked with a mouth still filled with the sweet treat, only shoveling more into his system.
He shrugged softly, trying not to growl again at the sound of his voice being muffled. He covered his mouth and quietly closed his eyes, shuddering softly as he sighed. "Mmmm..." He let out a low growl as his eyes glimmered with anger that he quickly blinked away, flicking his nose before flinching and yelping. It hurt, but so would attacking people. Especially those close to him.
Ranboo silently eyed the other, watching as he chewed and swallowed down the oreos he shoved into his mouth. "What's wrong?" He asked, booping Tubbo's nose after he flicked it, almost like trying to offer out a small comfort to the fellow hybrid. He then proceeded to shift so that he was sprawled out on his tummy, strategically laying in Tubbo's lap, offering him both of his hands. "Need the beans? You can has the beans if you want 'em, Tubs,"
Tubbo shifted and tensed before quietly taking Ranboo's hands, beginning to squish and play with the beans before letting go of him and putting his hands over his face with a soft shudder. "HhhgGGHH- Fuck, no..." He whispered out as he gently moved away from him, his wings opening and carrying him away from Ranboo. He then ran off, deeper into the house as his wings buzz loudly.
Ranboo was mildly confused, to say the least, as he watched Tubbo leave the living room. He looked down to his paw pads, then in the direction Tubbo ran off, then back down to them again, unsure if he did something wrong. He stayed sprawled out on the couch, laid out like a couch potato, as he lulled over what had just happened in the attempt to try and make sense of it.
Tubbo slammed his fist into the wall as he got halfway to the bedroom, covering his scars before letting out a soft choke. His eyes glimmered softly as he walked into the bedroom quietly, hiding himself into the closet. His eyes squeezed shut as he shuddered, looking back at the door before placing some dirt into the doorframe as if that's going to stop Ranboo from coming after him if he doesn't come out soon. He managed to repress his instincts for a while, but he eventually ran his fingers over the wall before twitching away from it as his eyes glowed softly. "Hhhh...hhh..." His panting was loud as he gritted his teeth, letting out a loud growl as he collapsed.
Ranboo stayed laid down on the couch, taking the time to do nothing but think for a while as he waited for Tubbo's return. After a while of waiting, he cocked his head towards the clock to check the time and to see how long he had been patiently sitting there. A handful of minutes; six if he was being exact. Ranboo sat up and slid off the couch, walking in the direction he saw Tubbo run off in earlier, quietly making his way down the hall until he got to the other's room. He knocked on the door; or, since it was a physical object, he had to mimic the sound of a gentle knock, "Tubbo? You doing okay in there? It's been a while,"
He snarled at the sound, looking over at the door before sitting on the ground, sitting in a ready position as he glared at the door. "Rrrrrrrrr..." He growled out as he bared his teeth, then shook his head aggressively before headbutting the wall which stunned him a bit. It was only momentary, however, and he laid down on his side as he continued to glare at the door. He looked like he was about to fight something, hiding in a pile of fabric as he scratched at the floor slightly.
Ranboo blinked upon hearing a snarl come from the other side of the door, and only grew worried when he heard a bang against the wall. He hesitated for a moment, mentally arguing with himself that if he entered the room then he'd be invading personal privacy, which was something he highly respected. Ranboo slid inside the room after a moment of hesitancy, looking down at Tubbo silently. It looked like... He went feral. Ah, that explained some things and made more sense. Ranboo kept his distance respectfully, just to be safe.
Tubbo looked over at him before letting out a soft huff, hunkered down in a corner in a pile of old shirts that he just threw further into the closet long ago. He definitely looked feral at the moment, glaring out of the pile as he growled. He looked extremely angry at the moment, ready to spring out of it at any moment. It was as if he was about to spring out of the corner and onto Ranboo, but quietly huddled further into the corner as he let out a soft huff. His eyes glowed softly as his tail twitched softly, gripping his fists softly and curling up in a defensive position. "Mmm..."
