"Feeling sleepy?" Foolish asked, quietly chuckling to himself as his smile morphed into a soft grin. He began to slowly float over to a door that led to the slime's designated bedroom, "Do you want to nap for a little bit, Slime?"
Slimesicle mumbled softly as he sighed, looking up at him for a moment before huffing. "I'm comfy on you, though..." He seemed to whine softly, still clinging to him tightly as he shifted softly. He didn't want to move off of Foolish, he was warm and cuddly and he just wanted to be around him.
Foolish chuckled to himself once more, running his hand through the slime's hair one final time before letting it peacefully drop. He hummed as he tried to think of a decent alternative and compromise for the issue he was presented with. "Well, how about we cuddle then?" He offered gently after a moment of thought.
He gasped softly before grinning at him, moving up and hugging him around the neck gently as he cooed happily. "Yes please!!" He giggled happily, his slime finally flushing the full red-pink at the thought. He couldn't help it, he was excited about the thought of being around his crush like that. He knew Foolish was his crush at this point, he knew he was in love, he just decided not to tell him about it.
"You seem happy about it; I'm glad!" The shark god contently laughed to himself as he slunk an arm around Slimecicle's torso- for support and to ensure he didn't slide off on accident, of course- as he calmly resumed floating back to that bedroom door. He eyed the now reddish-pink slime, having his suspicions about why he wasn't a shade of his typical green, but similar to the other, Foolish decided not to say anything about it.
He hummed out as he closed his eyes, moving off of him after they went inside to flop on the bed, melting a bit on the sheets for a moment as he hid his face. Honestly, he was excited, and he looked over at Foolish for a moment before sitting up and reaching out for him. "Cuddlessss!" He made grabby hands at him as he huffed softly, sitting on his bed. It had been covered in slime for a moment, but the red-pink slime was quickly brought back into Slimecicle's body to ensure Foolish wouldn't be uncomfortable.
Foolish slipped his way inside the room, prying his still-damp hoodie off and carefully setting it aside, spreading it out so it would dry quicker and more effectively. He smiled once more afterwards, happily hopping onto the bed when he was shown a gesture to do so, leaning back into the blankets and pillows, his smile slowly breaking out into a toothy grin. "Yeaaaah, cuuuudles! C'mere!"
He eagerly cuddled into him again, letting out quiet giggles as he buried his face into Foolish's shoulder. So what if he was flustered, the shark god was warm and he was tired. He seemed to relax greatly as he let out a soft sigh, holding close to Foolish as much as he could while softly playing with a bit of his own slime. The fun thing about his body was that it was a non-Newtonian fluid, and he was just held together with the pressure of gravity most of the time. It was fun, but he had to lose cohesion sometimes, especially when he was asleep.
(they're literally a lvl 5 hype train without the need for twitch donos, wth-- /pos)
Foolish contently sighed, snuggling and holding the slime close. He seemed so happy in that very moment, letting his eyes fall shut as he relaxed and unwinded, and, after a small handful of minutes, gently nuzzled at Slimecicle, his emotional reason as to why currently on the fence between friendliness and wholehearted affection. Either way, he fondly looked down at the slime after sleepily opening his eyes, just to make sure he wasn't the only one falling into slumber.
Slimecicle looked about ready to melt into sleep, letting out a sleepy noise as he nuzzled back. His eyes were barely open as he looked up at him, and seemed to think for a moment before shifting and kissing the tip of Foolish's nose gently. He wasn't entirely sure why he did so, but he found himself slowly losing cares as he hid his face into Foolish's shoulder and melted a bit since he fell asleep. Today had been a long day for him, and he welcomed sleep readily. Besides, he could probably discuss what was going on between them with him in the morning.
One of Foolish's eyebrows perked up in curiosity after the tip of his nose had been gently kissed, though by no means was he going to nag the slime about that fact. One, he was overjoyed by it, and two, he was secretly too tired to offer out much more than a smile in return. Though he tried his best to stay awake for a few more minutes, planting a soft kiss to Slimecicle's forehead just before he fell into a peaceful slumber- it being the first non-forced rest he had in weeks.
He slept well throughout the entire night, occasionally shifting and grumbling, but always managing to seem comfortable. Foolish was a supremely comfortable cuddler, he decided subconsciously, and clung onto him the whole night. The sun rising over the horizon startled him awake, and he slowly regained cohesion as he woke up, rubbing his eyes and standing up as he looked over. Foolish's hoodie. Curiosity hit him as he moved over to it, staring at it before snatching it and running out of the room, putting it on with a happy giggle.
Foolish had absolutely passed out and heavily slept the night away, the only thing he ever did was breathe and occasionally shift to get ever so slightly more comfortable. When the sun rose up and shone through the windows, he didn't move a muscle. Normally, he would be up and active by early morning hours; making breakfast, tidying up, doing small, soundless chores, basically whatever was needed to be accomplished; but instead he slept. It was almost as if a power-off button on him had been pressed, and as a result, he peacefully slept the morning away as well, subconsciously hoping to not be awoken any time soon.
Slimecicle quietly let him sleep, occasionally coming in to stare at Foolish and eating food silently. His outfit had changed to match with Foolish's, and he honestly admired the jewelry that the shark god wore. He'd cleaned his slime from the inside of the hoodie before manifesting his own, completely matching Foolish's as he stared at him with a smile. He had absolutely no intention of waking his crush, preferring instead to occasionally brush Foolish's hair out of his eyes in any position he shifted into. He just looked like a smaller version of Foolish, save for a couple of details. His hair, his body figure, his height and the fact that he wore glasses.
Foolish snoozed the morning away, stirring slowly to a more awake state when it was closer to the afternoon. He stayed laid down on the bed, trying his best to fall back asleep for a few moments before giving up on his endeavours, gently rubbing at his eyes when he gave up his quest to fall back into slumber. He silently eyed Slimecicle as he yawned, his brain not processing a whole lot at the moment, his thoughts still draped in a thick foggy and tired haze. "Kinda rude to not wake up with me," The shark god murmured in a slightly playful tone as he let out another yawn.
Charlie let out a soft giggle as he reached up to brush more hair out of Foolish's eyes, grinning at him. "Yeahhhh...buuuut I don't mind watching you!" He spoke excitedly as he drew his hand back, the slime on his hands having a lustrous sheen in his excitement. He had to admit, staring into his emerald eyes made him flustered, and he moved his hand back after a moment. Without meaning to, he flushed softly as he giggled softly, almost seeming to squeal as he moved back and covered his face. He was so flustered at this point, giggling and smiling as he whined alongside it. Foolish was pretty to him, so so pretty, and the poor boy couldn't take it at this point.
The shark god slowly raised a brow up as he continued to eye Slimecicle, letting out one final large yawn, attempting to hide his mouth filled with sharp teeth with a hand. "Iiiiiiiif you say so..." He offered out in another murmur as he sat up and stretched for a few moments before sliding out of bed and floating in place. "What's with the whole... giggle fest?" Foolish asked curiously, his voice quiet and laced with sleepiness as he indirectly referenced how giddy and flustered the slime seemed.
"Look at me, I look like you!" He stood up and showed off the outfit, which was ill-fitting on him but clearly adorable as Slimecicle moved his head back slightly, which made the shark hood close. It made him giggle more in happiness, letting him feel like he was being hugged by Foolish without needing to ask for it. It made him so so so happy, and he emerged from the hood before looking up at him. "See, see???" He asked excitedly, standing up and coming over to him as he bounced happily. It was kind of adorable...
Despite his tired state, Foolish went wide-eyed with adoration, quietly cooing out a surplus of "aww"'s. He fluffed up the slime's hair once his head had popped out of the hoodie, smiling down at him with a familiar fondness that mimicked the night prior. Upon closer inspection, he realized something, "Wait, you don't have any jewellery! How dare you say you look like me and not be showing precious gems!" Foolish exclaimed in mock-offence, already digging through his inventory for decorative jewelled necklaces, bracelets, and things of the sort. "You're lucky I keep extras on me, Slime, so, so lucky." He joked as he offered Slimecicle an Egyptian-themed sapphire necklace and simple golden wristbands, handing them out to the other as if they were common items anyone could spare; though, in terms of him being a god, that was a fair assumption on his part.
Slimecicle stared at them before taking the necklace, holding it in his hands before a mimic of it popped up around his neck as if it was always there, made from his slime as he looked up at Foolish. He seemed to smile at him, looking for encouragement or maybe a positive reaction. He even brushed his hair aside and showed his little tiara that he had on, quietly putting his hands into his pockets as he tilted his head at him. Was he picking habits up from the shark god? Yes. Was it to try and be like his crush? Yes. He didn't even seem to notice that he was doing it, it just came naturally to him. He's a people-pleaser.
The shark god went back to watching Slimecicle with adoration in his eyes, soft and dragged-out "aww"'s leaving his mouth every so often. "You're like a mini-me! Sure, made of slime, but a mini-me!" He cooed out with a warm smile, showering the slime with heaping tons of adulation as he continued to cherish and treasure the sight in front of him, finding it absolutely adorable that Slimecicle would think of, nevertheless bother enough, to copy him. It made his heart happier than he would probably admit- aloud at least.
His eyes sparkled softly before he blinked a little bit and looked down at the floor, playing with his hands. "...Yeah...it makes me happy to look like you, Foolish Gamers from long ago..." He mumbled out, picking at the fingerless gloves he was wearing, his gloves studded with rhinestones that were in the shapes of their initials. On his left was F_G for Foolish_Gamers, on the right was CS for Charlie Slimecicle. He thought it would be fun to wear, sighing and closing his eyes as he hugged himself happily. "Mmmm..."
Foolish kept his gaze glued to the one in front of him, his eyes tracing down to the other's gloved hands. He raised a brow upon noticing the rhinestones, eyeing them curiously as he silently read out what letters they spelt out. F_G and CS, huh. That seemed almost strangely affectionate, and he couldn't help but toothily smile once more. "You've got our initials spelt out together like a sign of teenagers in love on your gloves," He noted aloud with a small laugh, "At least it's better than carving them into a tree or spraypainting an innocent building." Foolish added on with a playfully amused tone.
That seemed to fluster him quickly, and he covered his face as his slime flushed a full reddish-pink color. He didn't know if Foolish had caught on yet or i̶f̶ ̶F̶o̶o̶l̶i̶s̶h̶ ̶i̶s̶ ̶t̶o̶o̶ ̶m̶u̶c̶h̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶a̶ ̶h̶i̶m̶b̶o̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶r̶e̶a̶l̶i̶z̶e̶ if Foolish just didn't understand human stuff like the slimeball did. Either way, he hoped he could figure out how to say it out loud before he boiled himself from blushing too hard. Was that possible? He didn't know, but it felt like it very well could be.
Foolish simply floated in place, slightly hunched over himself as to be at a better eye-to-eye level with Slimecicle as he felt it was only proper for him to do so. He watched him curiously as he continued to eye the rhinestone-studded gloves the other wore, humming a soft tune to himself as he studied them with a fond glint in his eyes. Was he normally this clueless when it came to most things? Absolutely not. Was he like a fish out of water when it came to love, particularly directed towards him? Absolutely; and the irony being that the shark god was, half-literally, a fish out of water. Maybe that could jokingly explain a few things about him.
(That and Foolish like shiny things because shark)
Charlie looked up at him after a moment, his eyes glinting softly with excitement as he did. "You're something special, Foolish Gamers from long ago..." He mumbled out, not quite being able to stop himself from saying more. He wanted to tell Foolish everything he admired about him, but at the same time, he didn't want the shark god to see him as weird or creepy...like everyone else...a soft blue color began to spread over him as he sniffled a bit at the thought, his tears being a more liquid-y form of his slime.
The shark god blinked in mild surprise at the sudden visible emotional change in Slimecicle, his happy smile instantly dropping into a worried line on his face. "Hey, hey, heyyyy now. Why're you getting sad, Slime??" He asked with a worried and confused voice, trying to mentally figure out what could possibly have gotten the slime upset. Foolish hated the fact he couldn't come to a clear conclusion as he furrowed his brows together with further concern plastered to his expression, unsure what to do or how to help in that moment.
"I want to tell you everything I like about you but I don't want to be creepy! Everyone tells me I should just be quiet and help, so I do! I don't understand what I do to offend them, I just want to make people happy...I don't want to be creepy..." Slimesicle whined softly as the blue covered his whole body, covering his cheek and trying to hide how the liquid slime dripped down his face like tears on a human. "I just want to be good!"
Foolish stayed in place, his brows knitting further and further together as he listened. "But you are good, Slime. You're not creepy, you just don't know how the entire world works yet, which is perfectly fine!" He offered out, attempting to console the slime as he shifted so he could hug him and gently rub at his back. "You shouldn't worry so much about what others think anyways, that's not a very healthy mindset to have."
Charlie clung to him tightly, sniffling and whimpering to himself for a little while before wiping his eyes silently. "But...what if there's someone who I want to think good of me...?" He whispered softly, wiping his eyes again as he tried to pull the slimy tears back into his body to ensure that the shark god's hoodie didn't get soiled with his slime. He was nervous as it was, he didn't need more anxiety.
The shark god hummed as he thought about how to phrase his answer in a clear and concise manner. "Well, if that's the case, then you try to impress them as best as you can. That's what I do at the very least; or generally be kind towards them, that works charms as well." Foolish answered thoughtfully after a few moments of silent thinking, hoping his little blurp of advice helped ease the slime's worries.
Charlie pretended to think before holding himself closer to the shark god, sighing out slowly. "How can I possibly impress him...he's so cute and nice and smart..." He mumbled out as his hands squeezed fistfuls of the shark god's hoodie. The diamonds and other such jewels seemed to lose their lustre as he sighed, losing a bit of cohesion as Quackity's (and other's) words echoed in his head. "Love is a waste of time!" "Creep!" "You're weird!" "Stop looking at me!" "Get away from me!" Every thought, every word made the shades of blue deeper until he looked like the ocean.
