It had been years since humanity gave way to the rise of advanced machines. These androids had the first priority to find any remaining humans and capture them. Of course, some of these humans resisted capture and Bartz was one of those humans. He tried to put up a fight however he was easily overtaken and knocked out by the androids. After a while, he along with other humans were transported to another facility where the androids made them into cyborgs using cutting edge technology. Of course, then these cyborgs were placed into capsules and sent off to be received by other androids. Months have passed since then and Bartz was starting to wake up from his long slumber. Very quickly, he realized that he couldn’t move and that he was in the same outfit that he was in when he had been captured. Due to this, he started to panic and that feeling of panic was only strengthened by the fact that he noticed something standing right next to the capsule that he was in.

Kenyon looked at Bartz with almost a curious look to him but he hid it quickly as he realized he was awake “Erm….hello” he said quietly

“W-who are you and what am I doing here?” Bartz asked rather quickly. He seemed to be confused and was slightly panicking. He started to look around the room however that did nothing to ease his nerves. He was still rather scared and that was even before the memory of being kidnapped by androids started to resurface. Soon enough, the memories resurfaced which only caused Bartz to start panicking more than he already was previously.

“Uhm… I mean my name is Kenyon and you…your my pet I think” he shrugged “not sure” he seemed to notice he was frightened “so you want me to let you out?” (Gtg)

“I-I do want to be let out. Besides, I don’t really like not being able to move because it’s scary.” Bartz said softly. He seemed to have started to calm down however he wasn’t completely calm. He was still very much afraid no matter how he viewed the situation.

He nodded and started to fiddle with a device next to the capsule after a few moments it opened up allowing Bartz to move

Bartz slowly walked out of the capsule and yawned softly. He was still a little tired however he quickly shook off that sleepiness. He didn’t feel like falling asleep anymore however he couldn’t stop thinking about how he ended up here. He was still rather confused and sat down on the floor while he tried to sort out the jumbled mess of thoughts that he had about how he ended up in his current situation.

Kenyon watched him slightly confused “erm do you want me to take you to your room or are you just going to sit there?”

“I guess that I should be shown to my room since I don’t really know where it is.” Bartz muttered softly. He was still somewhat lost in thought however he was able to snap himself out of his trance. He remained motionless however he was still facing some confusion about why he ended up here. Finally, he stood up and looked at Kenyon.

He looked back at him for a moment and started walking though the (house?)

Bartz started to follow Kenyon. He remained silent as he walked however he stumbled a little bit. He hadn’t been on his feet for months which made him more prone to stumbling than what was normal for a person like him. He caught himself several times as he followed Kenyon through the house.

He looked at him “you ok?” He asked noticing him stumbling

“I feel like I’ve been out cold for months. I think that’s why I’ve been stumbling which is something that I don’t normally do but I’m fine.” Bartz muttered softly. He kept himself upright as he spoke however it was clear that he was going to have a hard time walking for a while despite what he initially said.

“Yea it’s been three months I believe” he said simply and kept walking before they got to the room

“Three months? Was I in some sort of coma or something? I don’t understand this at all.” Bartz muttered softly. He seemed to be very confused and tilted his head to the side to show his confusion. He was shocked to learn that he had been out for three whole months and clearly wasn’t taking the news very well.

“I guess you could say that” he shrugged “I mean the world has changed a lot sense you got taken”

“That’s the last thing I remember. I was with other people and then… the androids came to hunt us down. People are little more than animals now and I refuse to be a pet.” Bartz growled softly. He walked over to a wall and then punched it. He wasn’t very happy about what humans have been turned into nowadays.

He grabbed his arm “well I wouldn’t suggest leaving” he said “your quite lucky to even be alive”

“But am I even human anymore? I could have been changed in those three months that I was out. Just how has this world changed? Is the change for better or for worse.” Bartz stated with a hint of anger in his voice. He was starting to get upset and then punched the wall with his free hand again.

“Wellllll- your not ‘human’ anymore I guess” he shrugged

“What do you mean by that? I don’t understand at all!” Bartz growled angrily. He was starting to get frustrated with the current situation and didn’t seem to want to punch the wall anymore. He would try to find a way to escape however he didn’t know whether he would get the chance to do so or if he would ever get that chance.

“Uhm they kinda turned you into a cyborg I guess you could call it” he mumbled

“Why would they do that? It’s not like they can control me!” Bartz muttered angrily. He was about ready to punch the wall again and it was clear what emotion he was feeling. He was feeling frustrated and angry with himself.

He grabbed him again “calm down I won’t if you don’t make me” he growled starting to get a bit impatient

Bartz only ended up growling loudly before he quickly ran to a corner of the room. He hissed angrily and it was clear that he would not calm down. He was starting to become disobedient and this was due to him being upset.

He growled and grabbed his wrist dragging him out of the room “do you want me to knock you out?!l

Bartz only hissed loudly as a response. He tried to get away from Kenyon and was rather strong. He wasn’t in the mood to speak nor did he want to cooperate with his new owner. He was angry and scared however anger was the primary emotion that he was feeling.

He growled and dragged him into a different room throwing him to the ground

Bartz curled up in order to protect himself. He was still growling softly and had a menacing look in his eyes as if he was about ready to fight his way out of this sticky situation.

He growled and slammed the door shut locking it

“I am not going to cooperate with you. I won’t cooperate with anyone.” Bartz growled softly. He was starting to become rather difficult to deal with and remained curled up. He felt like he had to protect himself.

Kenyon walked away from the room and sighed getting annoyed

Bartz almost immediately uncurled and remained silent before he fell asleep. He then started to slightly move in his sleep until he curled up again. He seemed to have started to calm down however he did need some more time to calm down and slowly accept his current situation.

Bartz woke up after sleeping for several hours however he remained motionless. He was still somewhat sleepy however most of his previous rage had disappeared while he slept. He felt less stressed and more relaxed than he previously was.

Kenyon opened the door quietly he had a plate of food in his hand he seemed a bit calmer then before “hey I thought you might be hungry” he said once he noticed Bartz woke up

Bartz remained completely motionless however he ended up shivering slightly. “I’m only a little hungry.” He muttered softly. Other than that, he remained mostly quiet.

He nodded and set the food down “if you need me just call me” he said before leaving the room

Bartz slowly started to uncurl and then walked over towards the food before he started to eat it. After he finished eating, he yawned softly and then curled up on the floor again. He wanted to walk around however he was unsure if he would be allowed to leave his room at the moment given how he acted earlier.

He sighed and walked outside the room

Bartz remained curled up for a while before he finally decided to crawl towards the door. He then sat up and looked at the door for a while. He was waiting for someone to come into the room since he felt rather lonely by himself.

Kenyon was in the living room reading a bit

Bartz decided that he had enough of waiting around and then started to scratch at the door. He was a little tired of being lonely and wasn’t afraid to let somebody else know that even if it meant breaking the door in the process.

Kenyon looked up and sighed standing up and walking to the door opening it “you do know that it was unlocked right? You could have just walked out”

Bartz only tilted his head in confusion. He wasn’t ready to speak just yet so he currently spoke using actions. That included scratching at the door if he wanted to interact with someone. He looked up at Kenyon and ended up actually smiling for once.

He looked at him slightly worried “is this how you normally act?”
