The Merfolk. These mysteries created appear to have the top half of a human and the bottom half of a marine creature. Recently, expedition teams of researchers have gone down into the ocean in search of these whimsical creatures that live in the depths of the ocean. They recently ended up capturing three mermen who were taken to a facility. There they will study the species through these three individuals. Little do the researchers know that the other merfolk want those three mermen back. [b Research Facilities] These high tech facilities have teams of researchers dedicated to studying merfolk. These research facilities often contain tanks of water that are specifically recreated to make the captured merfolk feel more at home. They are equipped with state of the art technology that is used to research more on the species. [b An Artificial Merman?] Some of the scientists in the research facilities have been working on creating an artificial merman that has the same powers as the merfolk. What they hope to achieve from this is unknown. Of course, the rest of the scientists don’t know about this. [b RULES] 1. This roleplay is 14+. This means no mature themes are allowed (Dr*gs, Alcohol, NSFW themes). Blood and limited gore is allowed and so are some dark themes. 2. Don’t spell you as u. It gets annoying to other people after a while 3. No godmodding. We want to keep things fair for everyone here. 4. One lining is not allowed. To prevent this, there is a 100+ character requirement that must be met. 5. Use proper grammar. Always start your sentences with a capital letter and end them with a period. This makes it easier for people to read. 6. Be nice to your fellow roleplayers. Mutual respect is a part of a good community. 7. Follow the ES rules for the sake of everyone here. 8. Take the Roleplay seriously. This means don’t do anything that breaks the world. 9. Crossover characters are allowed but they aren’t allowed to be ridiculously overpowered. 10.
